October Bus - More treats than tricks please!

I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

BFP due October 4th

Anyone got any great ideas to take my mind of the 2ww and incessant symptom (or imaginary symptom) spotting? Feel like I'm going crackers

@hoopdeloop me too - I have now carried out 5 pointless pregnancy tests....am only 9pdo and not even sure of that. My nipples were so sore last night it kept waking me up! Surely I can't be imagining that!

As far as distractions go....not sure! I'm trying to limit the time I spend google 'early signs of pregnancy' but...😬

Morning al. Sorry for all the symptom spotting. Really Hoping for some BFP soon!! Need some inspiration.

Feeling really down today as had my positive OPK on Fri and still no rose in temp. So I feel like I might have anovulatory month. feeling like my old eggs aren’t good enough and my body is too old to make good eggs!

What are the chances my temp could rise tomorrow still? CM dry!

Body/cycle all over chip shop since MC. Medical management on 2 sept. Started opk again on 17 sept - negative, then straight to static face 18th which was day we got all clear. DTD but he didn't, you know what. Then next day down to negative again!

Away on hols now eating, drinking and relaxing. Got 2 days of negative 22nd and 23rd then flashing smiley yesterday. Properly DTD. Flashing smiley today. Not got any of the cheapie sticks with me (only clear blue digital) so fuck knows whether I'm ovulating, not ovulating, possibly pregnant or what.

So confusing!!!

In some ways wish I'd taken some of the advice on here and waited for 1 cycle, but in others heard most fertile straight after MC so want to capitalise.

Just arghhhhhh!

5 days of smiley flashing face on clear blue digital tests, unsure if I am actually going to get my peak 😔

@hoopdeloop I went crazy during my last tww. This month I've bought a look fabulous beauty box online which has a couple of magazines and nice products in it. Thought I'd try to get to 7dpo, then start gifting myself something nice and try to distract by doing my nails or having a bubble bath etc.

I see some of you are using the clearblue tests, i have the advanced monitor on cycle 5 of using it
Cycle 1 - 6 highs no peak
Cycle 2 & 3 - 4 highs 2 peaks, 1 high
Now the last 2 cycles i have just been getting highs, no peaks?
Anyone any ideas? Am i not ovulating although find it strange that it said i was before?

Morning all!

I feel like I should just wait it out this month but it just isn’t that easy is it!

This morning my temp had finally risen significantly! However, yesterday morning I didn’t temp! We had gone out the night before so think alcohol would have made a difference with that temp anyway plus I couldn’t find my thermometer! But now I’m regretting it as would of been interesting if I’d of had a dip or another high temp 🤔

I had what looked like an ovulation dip 6 days ago now, but still was getting Positive OPK the next day. I just have no clue this cycle what’s going on!

Also last month, I had a slow rise in bbt after ovulation. I did get pregnant but lost it the week later. So now I’m thinking what if that happens again if it’s a case of slow rising bbt again!

Don’t you just wish you could look inside your body and know exactly what’s going on lol! The tww is horrific 😫

I've had the doctors this morning and feeling really frustrated. Had bloods taken a few weeks ago and the doc has said I almost certainly have pcos which I kind of knew. Just annoying that this changes nothing and no idea what I can do with it.

Hoping on board if that's ok.

My clear blue monitor asked me to pee on the stick today so hopefully ovulate this week. Only my second cycle with the monitor so not really aware of a pattern yet

6dpo and I've got:
Sore, swollen boobs
Slight constipation (sorry, is there such a thing as tmi on these threads?)
General 'heavy' feeling in my lower abdomin which is normal more pre AF.
General sleepiness, but it is Monday afterall.
It's way too early to have symptoms, isn't it? I'm so excited for this to be our month that I'm worried I'm getting carried away with myself.

I want to symptom spot but I don't have any, wahh :(

More hungry than usual perhaps? And had some dizziness but we've been flying back from Zimbabwe to London

Boobs etc. all normal

Think earliest I can test is Saturday? Period due next weds?

Depending on when I think I'm due I either need to test on the 30th or the 5th. Got some frer today. Refusing to touch them until the 6th when I'd definitely be late by any count

@HolyShmoly I’m guessing I’m at 6dpo too and I’m already symptom spotting aswell 🙈

So far I’m very bloated, I actually look pregnant, and my boobs aren’t sore, which is always a good sign for me! Also had a fair bit of creamy cm today too. ..... but it’s too bloody early for anything 😂😂

For the last couple months I've managed to hold firm and not poas until af is due and then I didn't need to test. I'm also due next Wednesday and I'm already agreeing with myself that if I have symptoms I can test on Sunday as I'm going out that night.
I seemed to have creamy cm today too, I didn't realise that was a symptom! It might just be 'leftovers' from last night though.

It's all glamour, isn't it?!

Is creamy CM a symptom? I've had that everyday since I had watery CM which is the closest I got to egg whites this month.

Can you offer me some advice, I have 5 days until af is due. I have sore and swollen boobs, slight cramping (I gather it maybe Af but I'm hoping it's not).
Is it to early to test?

@Mummyloves09 they sound like good symptoms to have! The most sensitive test like frer say you can test early, but are only really accurate from 4 days before I think. Sometimes a BFP still won't show up till the day af is due though even with sensitive tests, so don't lose hope if it's negative!

Yes creamy cm is a symptom, I’ve always had it when pregnant before! Although there’s also been the odd month when I’ve not been! Lots of women have it in early pregnancy so fingers crossed that’s a good sign for us!

This is my first month using OPKs and I was wondering if those who are a bit more experienced thought this was a positive? Thanks x

Done a test this evening (as I’m still straddling the September and October buses at the moment) and it’s got the faintest line! AF was due today.

Can anyone help? DP is convinced it’s a BFN, but I’m not sure. The line is barely noticeable but there is definitely something there.

Really? I can see a line unless it's a weird evap (which it does look to be imo)

@PsychologyGeek I don't think that's positive quite yet. It needs to be darker than the control line. Very close though!
@carringtonm I can definitely see a line! I'd be getting a frer and testing first thing tomorrow just to be sure. Fingers crossed for you x
