October Bus - More treats than tricks please!

I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

BFP due October 4th

@CoconutGal exactly the same for me. AF usually bang on time and 6-7 days. Came early, 1 heavy day with cramping and the rest really light. Only 4 days in total. Now feeling like I haven't a clue what my cycle is doing and not sure when fertile week should be.

This is my first post but can I join please?

AF due Monday and next will be around Oct. 25th.

If AF arrives this time, then October will be my second cycle of ttc.

AF arrived yesterday after a 38 day wait for her. AF is next due towards the end of October, which seems ages away!! Hopefully she is here for the last time in at least 9 months. I've learnt a lot in this last cycle, mainly that I ovulate later than I originally thought.

I'm so confused. Woke up this morning with AF type cramps but I'm not due until the 30th and 6 days early would be unheard of for me. Trying to put any thoughts of implantation pains out of my head! If it is an early AF then I've no idea what's made my cycle suddenly change, I'm usually pretty regular.

@CoffeeWithMyOxygen how many dpo are you? I had this a week and a half until my AF was due (and then passed). FX for you

I don't chart or use OPK so this is based purely on Clue, but I think 8dpo.

@CoffeeWithMyOxygen I always start symptom spotting too, I’m only 3dpo and I have sore boobies I think it’s hard not to, but we can go slowly mad together until we can POAS xx

Well I hope it isn't AF. Push her away with a broom!

Well DH came off his bike yesterday and has a broken collarbone as well as a collection of bumps and bruises. Think I'm entering my fw, although with my cycles it's hard to tell. Guess there's no sexy time for us in the next few days.

Oh gosh @felicityheather I really hope he's okay, such a painful injury!

@felicityheather that's awful for him - I know I'd be not so silently cursing them being out of action!

Question - have any of you had an adverse reaction to alcohol as an early sign of pregnancy? I'm never sick from drinking and was yesterday (and had only had 3 glasses)....I've had nausea every afternoon for the last week, sore boobs and strange taste but have thought I'm imagining it 😬

Thanks @Hardheadedwoman39 & @PabloEscobarlo he seems ok. Mostly banged up and mad he can't work. He's just started a new job he loves but it's all manual labour. His boss was not best pleased he couldn't come in this morning.

Never been pregnant @Hardheadedwoman39 but definitely sounds like a good sign!

@Hardheadedwoman39 I had this with my first DC. Really awful intolerance to alcohol. It was my first symptom that prompted me to test!

I'm potentially 8/9 dpo but only came off the pill a few weeks ago...did a test today and it was a bfn...

@Hardheadedwoman39 me too. Think I'm 8 or 9 dpo if I've calculated right... did an internet cheapie and bfn. Leaving the frer's till later... thinking one on the day ovia says I can test, and one on day af is due... feel soooo nauseous today. I'd love to think it's a sign, but think it's more likely something to do with the 2 kids in my class that vomited on me this week...

@Bubble04 ewww I remember that, I used to be a primary school teacher....you always have an itchy scalp and are moments from a sick bug!

I haven't used ovulation kits before but will if this month doesn't work...fingers crossed

It's 8 days since I got my LH surge and still no symptoms. Although I had a glass of wine last night and it made me feel sick. Symptom or wishful thinking?

I'm due af on 2nd October so I will test next Sunday at the earliest.

My sister has told me that she has stopped taking her pill as she is ttc. I know it sounds stupid but I now feel pressure to hurry up and get pregnant before her or at least at the same time as her. Don't get me wrong I would be thrilled for her but it would sting a bit if she got pregnant before me as I have been trying longer.

@lindypop33 any update or are you holding off for another few days?

Talked myself out of buying a lovely new jacket today which i couldnt really afford anyway as I might not fit in it for long. If this month isn't the month I am buying a new winter coat.

5dpo is too early for sore boobs, right? They seemed tender this morning. I also had a very vivid dream about The Rock but I don't think that meant anything! Lol!

@holyshmoly. Hi. I did a first response this morning and BFN. 😞. My sister seemed more confused and disappointed than me. So what that line was I don't know...... It was def there. Sister saw it straight away too. Back to the drawing board. Still no sign of AF.

ah crap, it must have been an evap. That's so frustrating!

Feeling very sorry for myself today. Horrendous one sided pain and cramps which I though might be ovulation but no ewcm or positive opk. It's also CD25.
Sorry to hear about the bfn lindypops I thought I'd seen a line on your test too

BFP DUE 4TH OÇT

Morning all! AF came last night- she was late which bred false hope although we hadn't actually started trying yet- stranger things have happened! So begins our first cycle of trying.. Breastfeeding is making my cycles a little scatty- last cycle was 25d whilst this one was 30d. BFP due (somewhere around) Oct 21st- fingers crossed for everyone
