Coming off Cerazette to TTC

Hi,

I took my last pill on Thursday 17th August and since coming off I've had loads of pregnancy symptoms. Feeling tired, bloated, feeling sick, backache, stomach cramps, mood swings, sensitive to smells etc.

Whenever I've missed a pill before I've had a bleed straight away, even when I was ill on holiday I had a bleed (apparently due to pill not being absorbed properly). So far I've not had any bleeding at all since properly coming off the pill. Surely it's way too early to have pregnancy symptoms!

Are you going to chart or do opks etc? I started charting a couple of weeks ago (we're not actually ttc for a few months but wanted to see how it all worked and whether I am ovulating) but am already getting addicted to it! My inner science geek is loving all the stats and graphs

Tilly - I’m sure it will happen soon for you, I had pregnancy symptoms for ages, then it all stopped apart from sore nipples, then today AF came, wasn’t expecting it at all! I had a faint line on an OPK this morning!!

LadyKat - I’ve got an app called Ovia so I’m tracking things on there and will start doing OPKs again in a couple of weeks :-)

Update again! Just done an ovulation test and it looks like I’m ovulating today!!! Fingers crossed 😀

Hi ladies, joining in on the thread I stopped taking my Cerazette 3 weeks ago. Not liking the symptoms...I feel yuk!

I’m hoping my cycles get back to normal soon, although not holding much hope as I was on the Depo until Feb 17 this year then switched the pill. I’ve read some horror stories about how it completely messing your body up for a while.

Good luck girls! It wasn’t any fun coming off the pill, I was convinced I was pregnant but turned out a lot of people get false pregnancy symptoms when coming off it!!

Update on me: I’m waiting for 2nd period (due next week I think), I got a positive OPK on 9th Oct so probably ovulated 10th Oct. I’ve done 2 pregnancy tests, both negative. Waiting until the weekend to do another one! Fingers crossed

I read that ovulation can sometimes be a bit later when coming off the pill so I'm hoping that's the case with me as bf lives away. We dtd day 16 and 18 as that's when we saw eachother. Fingers crossed

I’ve no idea when I first ovulated but I presume around 2 weeks before AF so I would have been off my pill for 4 weeks then. I hope I get a BFP this month but not getting my hopes up! I’ve had tons of symptoms but could be in my head :(

Update on me. I started spotting Friday (day 22) and still spotting now. I don’t know what’s going on. Its pink and very light then stops. Then tonight it was a bit heavier so I thought it might actually be my period but it’s stopped again. Very strange. 😕

That’s strange! I was due AF anytime from 23rd Oct until tomorrow. I’ve got cramps and other signs. Taken a test and BFN again 👎🏻👎🏻

Oh well I’m out. Woke up to full blown af ☹️ Hope you get your bfp soon amyleigh x

I’ve had veryyy slight spotting so I think AF may come soon for me too. Unless I ovulated late and this is implantation, we will see! Good luck for next month 😊

Update: AF arrived unfortunately! Try again next month 🤞🏻

Hi everyone! I'm jumping on board this thread! Came off Zaletta four weeks ago now, still no withdrawal bleed, nothing, but so many pregnancy symptoms and several negative tests. It's so frustrating, I just want my body to function the way it's supposed to 😂

Sounds the same as me! I was so convinced I was pregnant but then out of the blue AF came! Caught me by surprise!! Im sure it will come soon for you 😊

6 weeks after coming off the mini pill and Aunt Flo has finally paid me a visit! So relieved 😂

Same as me, took 6 weeks!! I’m currently in the two week wait again 😫 ovulation test came back positive on Saturday! Fingers crossed 😊

So reassuring reading this thread.
I stopped Cerelle on 20th October and after a week was convinced I was pregnant. Loads of symptoms, they really mess with your mind!
3.5 weeks later and still no sign of AF. Had loads of BFNs which is disheartening (I need to stop buying them!).
I've tried OPKs but I am still confused by them. One morning I'll do one and theres a faint line, the same evening there'll be no line at all.
I'm in the same boat as you guy, hoping my AF will arrive or get my eggo preggo!

Also - I never had periods when I was on Cerelle so trying to use an ovulation app is really difficult. I'm using Clue.
Has anyone else had the same issue?

I tried to track using apps and it confused me even more! After my first AF (after 6 weeks off Cerazette) I started tracking. I got my 2nd AF exactly 28 days later. It made it easier after having 2 AFs as I had an idea of how long my cycle was etc.

After your first AF I would use OPKs from around CD8-10 to track ovulation. I ovulated late this month on CD17! Hoping AF doesn’t arrive this month!!

I also had no periods while on the pill 😊

I’m using clue as well. When would you guys say is best to do an ovulation test.. I’ve been testing when I get home from work around 5.30 from around CD10. According to the app due ovulation tomorrow. Really hard to know length of cycle until I’ve had AF for the second time x

At first I tested once a day and then started twice a day! Started at CD7 but didn’t ovulate until CD17! See photos 😊
