2ww starts here! Any early September testers want to join me?

Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support?

Ok so bfn from first response. Still 3 days until AF due to will retest then...

@Alexsmum that's brilliant news. I'm very glad he has positive sperm. Not long now till that BFP I'm sure x

@emilyjayne1990 I did yesterday - obviously a bfn too!

We are now on holiday for the week. Only bought two frers with me so going to attempt to test 9 & 11dpo. I can already feel the urge to use tomorrow's fmu though argh!!

@Fia256 I'm really tempted to test again in the morning. I'm just so puzzled by the cramps I had between Monday and yesterday. Then today I've not had any apart from sharp stabbing ones! And my boobs are hurting quite a bit too!!

I hate waiting!!!

@emilyjayne1990 how many dpo will you be tomorrow? I will be 8. I've had funny achey feelings in my stomach for the last couple of days and woke up this morning absolutely full of cold. Hoping it's a good sign!

I think having a cold may well be a good sign as your immune system is focused on protecting the baby during pregnancy. Fingers crossed!

@Fia256 I'm not actually sure, I know I ovulated between last Monday & Friday, but I don't use tests so not sure on the exact day.
I tested in the middle of the day today though, which was silly!!

Yes, my last pregnancy I had a sniffly nose in very early pregnancy. Which I've also had over the last few days too.

Feeling really pants. Horribly nauseous. The smell of sour cream and chive pringles almost finished me off... it's clearly too early to be a symptom, so guessing I must be poorly 😔

Aww @bubble04 don't rule it out, I'm not! I had a cold, that's gone now, I've got terrible breast pain and I feel so sick. I'm sticking with the hope. For the first time since my first pregnancy today I've switched to a sports bra as normal wear. OMG it's so much better!
And you know, the hubby has positive sperm 😂. That test only did sperm count so they could all be non swimmers haha

Sharp pains in pelvic area here and boobs still heavy with tender itchy nipples. I also have a cold. But it's way too early to test (7 dpo)! This is so difficult :(

Having classic signs of AF showing up in near future....I had a feeling it just wasn't going to happen this month!

@Polly I'm completely with you. Am going nuts here, I really need to think about something else! Have got a lot of diy to do this weekend. Might work!

@bubble04 his sperm might be positive, but he is not! Just asked him if he feels better now and he said no. Because it only tested one thing. It's literally our first month TTC. He's going to make me crazy

@Alexsmum I know! I have a few things on over the weekend but the chemists that's like 2 mins away from my house is calling my name.. my DH takes the philosophical approach and keeps saying 'if it's meant to be, it's meant to be' which I find endearing but also infuriating! Not sure if I'd prefer a crazy sperm -testing DH though!

Hahaha @Polly DH is being rather adorable really I did just order some tests from Amazon, just so I have them. I solemnly swear I will not POAS yet!

I am also in. Due on 1st Sept. trying for second child since Feb.

Crazy lady over here....dreamt I got a bfp last night and woke up disappointed!!! Bloody hell!

Oh my goodness the crazy is just too much. I caved yesterday and bought 1 v cheap test... feel ashamed. But it's made the crazy 100 times worse. Obviously it was BFN BUT when I got home and looked again there was a line. Now obviously this is an evap line as it must have been way after the time limit, but it's messing with my already crazy head! And of course I only bought 1 test so can't set my mind at rest. It's pure torture!!! Aaaaargh!!!!!!! 😡

Mrsjones me too!! I had a really light bfp in my dream last night so woke up hopeful! On a few occasions I have scarily had dreams that came true the next day or so so I got my hopes up. Used one of the two tests I've bought with me on holiday and it was a bfn (8dpo).

Feel gutted now which is ridiculous!

@fia haha it's ridiculous isn't it. I dreamt it was a digital one that said I was 7 weeks pregnant! 1) they don't exist and 2) there is no way I could be 7 weeks gone! Haha

I am now more resolved to not testing until AF is due!

@mrsjones definitely the way to go. Wish I hadn't done one yesterday. Kicking myself

Oh my gosh I had the BFP Dream last night too! Gutted to wake up and find out it wasn't real, lol! Let's hope it represents some kind of subconscious baby dust! X

I feel silly for being so impatient. After the bfn last night I was really disappointed and thought sod it, it's Friday night, I'm getting some wine!

So I did and I could even drink it. Tasted like marmite and made me feel ill. If I'm not pregnant there is something strange going on. Anyway am determined not to test until AF late.

Shall we all just run away to a lodge in the middle of no where so we're not tempted to test? 😂
