2ww starts here! Any early September testers want to join me?

Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support? Smile

Was telling a friend that I woke up at 3am convinced I could smell dreadful baked rock cakes and they immediately went "that can be a sign you are pregnant you know". The temptation to poas is currently very high. Keep telling myself I have to last until at least Saturday. I'm 10dpo, which is when I got my first bfp last month, sadly wasn't a sticky one.

Glad the new Dr was more supportive @Fia256. It must be really tough still not knowing but at least you have someone in your corner now that you can trust a bit more. FX that things work out.

Hello, this is my first time on here so forgive me for any mistakes. This is our first month TTC. We DTD on Wed 24th and I think I was ovulating (5 days after AF). I have had stomach cramps and for the past few days have been nauseous and a bit dizzy. My lower stomache feels a bit tight too. I haven't done any tests yet and don't know if I am reading too much into it but I'm hopeful. Do you think it is too early to take a test?

@Anisam87 hello and welcome! Think it'll be a bit early. When is AF due? Even the early testing FRER ones only become really accurate a few days before AF... I'm trying to wait till the day AF is due. Hate the disappointment of getting BFN's

@Bubble04 Thank you :). I'm not regular so my days between seem to vary between 19 to 24 days? My app is telling me Sat 9th so I was thinking of testing on Tue 5th? I have some tests from Amazon but don't know if there any good.

Sorry for the tmi question here but is there any truth in too much sex is bad for ttc? I've seen various opinions about whether sex should be daily or every other day, what happens if it's more than once daily? Does it dilute the sperm quality?

Afaik it's only an issue if there may be a problem with sperm mobility to start with. There's a difference of opinion but every other day seems to be something to aim for, with an extra couple of times for luck during fertile week.
I think I wore DH out last month, he is not used to that much sex and was doing a lot of travelling too! This month we'll be going for every other day.

Holy thanks! no issues with DP that we know of, we've had two pregnancies before (one successful one unsuccessful) but both were conceived unexpectedly so I'm new to this!

I caved. BFN, but its early and my wee was very diluted. Told myself no more testing until Monday now......Hmm

@EsmeGNU me too! I'm fairly sure I've had a late implantation (12dpo) and I've been away for a few days and got home an hour ago and couldn't resist.

Today I have drunk 2 cups of tea, 1 mug of herbal tea and 2 bottles of water. Bfn of course. Wtf is wrong with me! And now I don't have a test for the morning. Am determined not to test until Saturday now!

Just joined Mumsnet today - hence the delayed join! I'm going for a blood test tomorrow (DPO 14) to find out if we have been successful this round - nervous, gut feeling is a BFN as I've been cramping since DPO 11, I'm also on progesterone suppositories which delays AF regardless. This is my third round of clomid, second round with triggershot - first round we got pregnant but I suffered a silent miscarriage at 7 weeks and didn't find out until my 11th week scan and then was diagnosed with lean PCOS 2 months later. Wishing everyone luck!

I have two more FRER's in the house. I've got a wedding to go to tomorrow hopefully that'll keep me out of trouble.

Hi All I'm new to this!! I am 8-9 dpo . DTD night before ovulation. I have felt so off last few days, just different is all I can say. Shattered, headaches, emotional. I've had some cramps and my boobs feel so heavy and tender my nipples are so sore to the touch I can't lie on them. Had cramps and twinges yesterday and today. Was out with work last night and had 2 glasses of wine and felt drunk (I can handle my drink!) I was daft and did a first response tonight which was BFN but not due on till 7th September so guessing too early anyway? Don't know if it's all in my head but I'm convinced!!

I did another internet cheapie this morning and got a bfn at 10dpo. Not a huge surprise but I'm starting to lose hope. Oh well off on our weekend away so will try to focus on that and see if AF arrives.

It's September! Only 5 days yo AF. Really tempted to test but know it's too early and will be BFN. Trying to convince myself I need to because we're going to a theme park today and don't want to go on anything too scary if I am. How ridiculous! Any excuse... must not POAS!!! Help me resist the temptation. I hate the disappointment. Why do I do it to myself!

BFN for me too at 10dpo... I am trying not to get to disappointed yet as it's still very early and I didn't get a BFP with my dd until the day af was due.
