Yes, I had a temp rise to today but feeling far more like AF than OV. Can anyone help me with a CM question: white and creamy in abundance with some clear jelly like stuff ? waxing or waning?! Thanks!

Ready ? was the floodgate analogy physical? I can tell you, it?ll have nothing to do with mice! No dryness issues with me (Eveready should be my name ) I only use preseed as an alternative or a supplement to EWCM so that the ?boys? have a place to party until the ?entertainment? arrives! I ?prep? in the bathroom, the tube can make a squelching sound and it?s not conducive to passion! Only use half, especially if you don?t need it for its real purpose.

Iwillbe I like your photos, you?re really pretty it?s really nice to put a face to the anon name ! I guess everyone?s just at ?that? stage in their cycle where they keep quiet! EPO helps balance hormones and increases your fertile CM; it contains EFA which is an essential fatty acid GLA which helps to make prostaglandin. The Flaxseed oil has similar properties and is full of omega oils, it?s safer post OV as EPO can lead to uterine contractions which you don?t want if you are pg. Not taking B6 again yet because I?m not really sure what happening but I will be taking it again when AF arrives. I take the prenatal vits but the B6 levels are not high enough in that to help the LP you need 50mg-200mg/day. Saw you joined Ovusoft, you?ll be addicted soon, it just takes some time to get to know it Yup, it?ll draw your coverline for you and it will recognise OV too check the settings though and make sure it is basing its calculations on what you want it to. For example, ferning didn?t work for me so I excluded it from calcs and as OPKs can also be unreliable with me, I?ve based calcs on CM and temps alone. Make sure you check your CP at the same time each day as it changes. I did it for a while but gave up as I didn?t find it helpful. Be prepared for your GP to look at the charts as if you are mad, my GP was fascinated but did think I was insane, he was quite old and I still blush when I remember him asking why oatmeal was on there! Enjoy the charting; I think it?s fun and interesting! Hope the acupuncture goes well

Seaside my friend works for their media company and she always used to joke about getting us on it! Did you see the one about the control freak woman and her quiet hubby who were moving from London to Preston and couldn?t find anywhere to live for their £350K the bit I liked the best was her saying they were going to have kids now as they were in her ?life plan? and then she visualised them waving to Daddy from ceiling to floor windows in one of the houses, I visualised her yelling at the poor things to stop making hand prints on the windows instead! Glad you got your Goodies! Keep the expensive HPTs for ?best? I had a digital CB from first month of TTC and only used it the day I got my BFP Yes, I am the CB fairy?s dream tester! In my view there are pregnancies in EVERY programme I watch scans in ?Life on Mars? (yeah right, that wasn?t a 3 month scan!) [look away if you watch the OC and haven?t seen it this week] even Kirsten in the OC is now pregnant! Grrrrr

PMSL about the dwarves chat! Who am I?

Fettle I just KNOW you are gorgeous!

God, I got totally lost on the Moon cycles, anyone want to do mine for me ?

Hello Duchesse, hello Greedy, hello all!!

Love that everyone is now checking out the phases of the moon - okay I looked too

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 13:58

MrsMc - I suppose floodgate probably wasn't the best analogy, considering what actually happens during labour but I meant, once my body learns how to get pregnant then it is damn well going to do it again PDQ!! Well, I just had an email from AccessDiagnostics telling me my order has been shipped. Roll on next fertile phase I loved your analogy of giving the boys a place to party until the entertainment arrives!! Immediately I had an image of a million knackered 'boys' lolling about as the egg floats past alluringly, and they just look at each, then at the egg, sigh and go "neh" and zonk out... so the preseed is like redbull for them? Keeping them going? Ok... I think I may have taken it too far... I'll get my coat!
I am by no means au fait with the moon thing - I mean did you see how I struggled last night!? In my defence Seaside was getting her full and new moons mixed up but if you tell us your birthday, I will look for you

Rattling - So how did you get on with the moon phase? Any fertile moon moments coming up real soon?

Seaside - Where the jiggins are you, when I need you

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 14:08

Anyone seen Minxi today??? I looked on her chart, and she hasn't updated today, but yesterday is saying CD1?? Oh I hope she is ok?? Minx, if you are lurking - big hug, sweets!

Oh and MrsMc it has to be "MrsMcJnr and the Twisted Dwarves" - heehee!!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 29/03/2007 14:31

Ready ? my birthday is 29/12/73 I last AF I had started on my birthday last year!

Yes, I?ve been thinking about Minxi too

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 14:42

Right... this is the test to see if I have been paying attention in Seaside's lessons... MrsMc I think you were born 4 days after the new moon... so you need to look and see if 4 days after the new moon coincides with ovulation - if it does you will be doubley fertile. And if it doesn't conincide, make sure you have sex then anyway, cos you could conceive outside of the normal fertility window - Look at the thread here Seaside has posted some really interesting links!!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 29/03/2007 15:32

So sorry Iwillbe take good care x

Ready - will have to look into this! By the way, my MC happened during the lunar eclipse .

rahrah1 · 29/03/2007 15:36

Hello all,,,,I'm Back!

Very relaxing and good fun. Got lots of healthy food and exercise... a real motivator to get fit.
Was a bit disappointed with the treatments they were really expensive and a bit slap dash. Me and my friend booked loads and not one was of quality. It was all a bit strange... the whole place was very much about making money. Our checkout bill was £590 for all the treatments, wine and snacks we had! Then they quibbled about £4 refund we asked for about a DVD! Cheeky gits! Anyway it was just lovely to get away and no fertility sign spotting and family stresses.

How is everyone? Minxi are you OK? Ready any signs, as you are very close?

I'll be back later when I have unpacked and relaxed some more.

rahrah1 · 29/03/2007 15:37

Sorry iwillbepgbydec07 about AF.. - stamp feet for you!!!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 15:56

rahrah Lovely to have you back Glad you had a lovely time, but at the half arsed treatments! For those prices they should be putting in the effort!! Oh well, word of mouth will right them in the end! I hope you are totally invigorated and raring to go

MrsMc - Oh, I didn't realise it was the lunar eclipse when you lost Ava, ((hugs)) that'll be another sad reminder then
I often wonder about the moon and well, pagan things, mother nature etc...

Iwillbe - Sorry to hear that your next cycle has started, fingers crossed the TCOYF gets you in sync and a BFP follows soon

MINXI WHERE ARE YOU ?

MrsMcEasterBunny · 29/03/2007 16:49

Upside is it doesn't happen very often Ready Just in case you miss me tomorrow, I have to go away on business (up at 4.30am ) so I won't be on here again until the weekend. Temps will clearly be low tomororw. No answers on my TMI CM question?!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 29/03/2007 16:54

Ready - I'm liking your temps hon I hope the big hand points at you this cycle x

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 16:59

MrsMcJnr - I'm sorry, I completely missed your CM question!! I am pants at the moment aren't I!!! Erm... I think that I have had what you are describing (as best as one can tell from our descriptions ) but creamy in consistency (as opposed to colour) which was more whitey and had clear tiny jelly type blobs in the mix. I don't mark my CM in detail on my chart, I know I should, but I always forget. So I can't remember when it happened... but it has. Not sure that helps any?! Have a good trip - take care

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 17:01

Thank you for saying that MrsMc - I hope so too!! And for you real soon!! Not so much of the PMA as I normally have... but looking forward to next cycle already - onwards and upwards! Need to start working out when that moon is going to be in the right phase

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 17:03

Seaside - How are you feeling today?? Getting ready for the action phase?? Go for it - Lucky 13

seaside72 · 29/03/2007 17:28

MrsMc - someone posted this link on another thread (sorry cant remember who to give credit to ) but it seems quite informative re CM descriptions and when in your cycle certain types occur webwomb

However I usually get the white/creamy stuff after OV ?

seaside72 · 29/03/2007 17:39

Ready - I am doing OK - not sure how feel about ov approaching?? Worried about DH getting the fear again (not helped by the fact that the poor thing had to do his semen sample this morning - cue amusing Carry On scenario as he tried to get/aim it in the (vv small) pot and then we had to take it to the hospital) So we have had no bd action yet as he had to abstain for 48 hours before, luckily I am still only CD 8 due to shorter cycle last month so at least it was not right on OV time.

Anyway - we have friends coming to stay this weekend so not sure how much excitable bd will occur? and also so confused about when to go for it - part of me thinks every other day (not as easy as it sounds!!) for next 10 days but then the other part thinks try to concentrate on the 5 days over ov and try every day. I am soo confused - I have tried most combinations over the past 12 cycles so just dont know now. Also a big part of me still feels a lot of despondency about the fact that it all is irrelevant as we seem to be headed for IVF anyway - arghhh

But as long as we get in some over the next week I will be happier than last month - keep your fingers crossed for us!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 18:03

Seaside - Oh honey, that is a lot of emotion going on there! Have you thought about not telling DH when the crucial times are then he might not be able to get the fear?? I know what you mean about not knowing what is best with regard to when to actually have the sex It's very difficult. I think every other day, but maybe have a run of 3 or 4 in a row around the time you think ov will happen. A friend of mine was telling me about the sperm meets egg plan - basically you have sex every other day from day 10 and then as soon as you get a +ve on your OPK you have it every day for 3 days then back to every other day for the rest of the cycle. It sounds easier than the reality of course!! I mean we are not teenagers anymore But I really think that to give ourselves the best chance we need to do it as much as we can. Next cyle for us we have discussed it, and decided we'll try for every day over the middle 14-18 with every other day before and after. Fingers crossed huh.
Maybe you need to have plenty to drink over this weekend, and get the ball rolling Can I just ask why you think that IVF is the next step? There are other things that you can do - the first step should be tests, which you are doing with the sperm analysis (LOL at the Carry On!) and tests of yourself. Another friend of mine had a hostile environment (not saying you have that by the way!) and the CF was attacking the sperm and so they had IUI, and fell first time! And now that have a gorgeous baby boy, So they didn't need to go down the IVF route, even though they thought that they might have to. Ok I am waffling here, and probably not helping matters... Hang in there
