MrsMcWilliams I am sorry to hear that you are feeling so pissed off today! BIG HUG! If I could I would send you some of the lemon and poppy seed muffins I just took out of the oven but I can't - so to try and take your mind off it I will tell you how much your visualisation technique has helped me today!!!
I walked to the library, and right near it there is a little war memorial with benches and flowers - well I allowed myself to imagine coming to that spot with my baby, dressed in dungarees (baby, not me ) sitting in that park in the sun, me chatting to baby, and baby babbling back... I had brought a little packed lunch for us and we sat together and watched the world go by! It was a wonderful dream - and it has really cheered me up!! Now, the chances of that dream actually happening are slim to none, as you know this village may not be our home for that much longer, but the technique has helped all the same - I WILL be sitting in a park, somewhere with a little picnic for me and my bub! One day. And do you know what, how wonderful would it be if all of us met up one day with our babies! I wonder how we would react to each other! PS. Your DH is an Aquarian then? Like me?

Rattling - There is no harm in having a little optimism, if it turns out to just be early OV, you won't have lost anything from that ray of hope - it'll just be the same as before. So keep hoping, and I will hope with you. It's a shame you haven't got access to the www at home, but do enjoy your time doing DIY! I will be doing that too next week if I begin cycle 8 - the kitchen needs painting, and then the house will be finished and aside from some little tinkering around the rest of the place, it will be ready for market!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 27/03/2007 13:25

Oh Greedy - how awful for your friend!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 27/03/2007 15:24

Gracie it happens hon! It probably does mean that you OV or will in last 36 hours so tonight would still be a good time for action!

Hey Greedy posted for you on the other thread (loved you kids and feel very sad for your friend). Getting paranoid now, what did you imagine me to look like? Are you disappointed?

Ready ? you talkin? to me? (Robert de Niro style voice) your muffins sound lovely (said the bishop to the actress!) I can?t bake to save my life. I loved your visualisation but you?ve missed some crucial details! Was the baby a she and wearing those cute dungarees you posted yesterday? Shoes, socks or bare feet? Don?t tell me you don?t know what the buggy was like, don?t believe you! How about you persuade DH to sign for a Scottish club and we can sit in a park together up here? Then you can bring some muffins to go with the lunch!

I?ve done everything possible to tempt fate to give me a BFP soon , I?ve stocked up on peanut butter, I?ve bought £50 worth of pre seed, OPKs and pregnancy tests plus months and months worth of EPO and Flaxseed oil capsules, I?m going to a Spa Hen night on 28/4, I?ve rekindled my love affair with wine (but am being a little shy this time round!) and with sushi and to top it off, I have just bought a dress for a wedding on 19/5 and if there is a single additional inch on me, especially round my boobs, I won?t be able to wear it? tempting enough for fate do you think? Or will he wait until I?ve booked my flights to the BVI for April 2008! I suspect so!

Hello all. Sorry to only be dipping in and out at the moment. I have...issues- not new ones, more like the old ones coming back. So am using this facility purely as a notepad at the moment. Sorry and good luck to all.

iwillbepgbydec07 · 27/03/2007 18:37

this post is going to be very self absorbed me me me warning!

just been to the bloody loo and my af has shown an appearance how bloody god damn selfish! i am only on cd25 ffs!!! can i not have 2 cycles the same length in a row for a change?

why is my body messing me about like this we put sooo much effort in and had to have caught the right time and yet still no bfn just blood!!! i cant keep carrying on like this its really hit me hard. dp said last night that he thinks this month is "in the bag" he is going to be so upset and probably a bit annoyed that it hasnt happened after all his hard efforts!

there must be somthing wrong with me...why does my body keep failing me i am on cycle 11 now...CYCLE F*KIN 11!!!

i just cant face another month of what if...the build up is getting stronger and stronger and even though i know af is on her way i still try and deny it to myself. i wish i had never gotten pregnant before, i blame that pregnancy for evrything that is happening to me now. why is the world so cruel i just want a baby of our own to love hold and look after. and it so would be....yet babies are born out there to the scummiest and most uncaring mothers possible without any problems at all.

sorry to go on...im now going to drown my sorrows with a huge glass of wine

just for the record its not cd1 just yet but bet ya bottom dollar my pissing name is going to be at the top of that list tomorrow am.

seaside72 · 27/03/2007 20:58

Iwillbe - so sorry you are feeling down - I feel your pain!! I have been in the doldrums since before the weekend when I hit CD1 again and am now cycle 13 - whohoo - NOT!! And I also never seem to be able to get 2 cycles of the same length - it is pants isn't it?

I also totally empathise with you re the build-up it is so horrific and in a way I am not surprised any good eggs I might be able to muster run in the opposite direction whenever there is a whiff of some swimmers! If they are half as petrified as I am every cycle they will never come out. It is a horrible viscious circle of being so upset with my body cos it fails me every month and then of course it fails again cos I am so stressed and upset about it

I know the answer could be to calm down and relax and I just wish I knew how - hypnotism??

Hope the wine is helping to dull the sorrow {{hugs}}

yum03creameggs · 27/03/2007 21:18

Oh Iwillbe, I am so sorry to hear that you have been hit again with another cycle. It is so cruel that some people just 'accidently' get pg and don't deserve it, and you really should be pg cause you would make the best mum. {{{{{hugs}}}}}, I might join you in a glass of wine tonight. I am so mega stressed (nothing to do with ttc), that there is no way that anything is going to happen with me this month either. I wish we could all wave magic wands and it happen for each of us. It is really a testing time for you, hope you stay strong and fight the battle again and this time win.

Seaside - perhaps that hypnotism idea is not so bad!

Duchesse - I hope the hut is giving you the support you need right now. I would give you a hug but I am not sure that is what you need right now, is there anything we can do to help you cope?

MrsEasterBun - hope you don't get to wear that dress but get your bun in oven for easter. Or should I say that to OvenReady!!!???

Greedy - sorry to hear about your friend. How are you feeling - any ms or tiredness?

Rah - hope you are getting organised for your spa trip.

Gracie - i never used opk's so don't know how they work!

I am mega-stressed with the house building and my job at the moment. I need to get myself into a better head-space soon or I will make myself ill. Dh is also over-worked too, we have not relaxed for months now, there always seems to be something that needs to be done. Ds has now been moved from category 2 to category 1 - urgent in speech therapy assessment rating. This means he is being assessed this week now, a big relief for me, as the sooner the assessment is finished the sooner therapy can start.

seaside72 · 27/03/2007 22:38

yum03 - about all your bad stress - I know only too well the nightmare of builders etc! But at least good news about ds assessment - fingers crossed for prompt action

Take care of yourself - remember Readys pep talk to rah about stress on the eggs!!

I am still feeling a bit despondent about temping but cant seem to stop yet! Do you think it could get to the point where you just temp a few times a month to check your cycle is where you think it is?? So far mine seem pretty boringly familiar and unproductive?!

Minxi sorry AF signs are appearing

Temp back down, so probably ovulated yesterday as expected, not early at all. Love the fact I was quite happy about that till my body taunted me with the possibility of things changing, now I am grumpy enough to fit the weather here. Hope someone is getting some sunshine.

Ok... I fully expected to come on here and have so much to catch up on!? Where is everyone??

MrsMcEasterBunny - I PMSL at your Taxi Driver routine and the muffin innuendo, oo-er! Ok, ok, now you know I don't have a gender preference, at all, but you can't help when visualising, it was a little boy, dressed in blue dungarees, and wearing little white nike trainers (just like Dad!) He was in a black bugaboo (of course! ) and was playing with a little football! If a Scottish club were to come in for DH we'd be there in a shot I love all your efforts to tempt fate... when I was grocery shopping I bought sanitary towels, in an act of tempting fate, silly I know!! Where do you get your preseed from? I am thinking of getting some for next cycle - is it worth a shot do you reckon?

Iwillbe - Oh, chick, I am really sorry that you are so down. Please don't be so hard on yourself, but if you are worried that there might be something wrong, then you need to go to the GP and get some tests done. Try not to give up hope, just keep giving yourself the best chance each month. (hug)

Seaside - How are you? What is it about the temping that is making you feel so despondent? You should only do something if it is helping you. I temp because I can see a pattern and that helps me, but if it were stressing me out (like the time I tried the OPKs) then I would stop - once something becomes counter-productive, it is just another burden. You have mentioned hypnotism a couple of times now, are you considering it??

Minxi - Oh I so hope that the fat lady doesn't start singing!? How are you feeling? Nervous and excited about the prospect of clomid?? Fingers crossed for you, flower!!

Rattling - It's really lovely weather here, are you not enjoying fine Spring weather??

Yum03 - I am really sorry to hear that you are so stressed at the moment. It sounds like you and DH really need a night out together!! Kick back and unwind! Please do what you need to do before you make yourself ill. I think you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself with this ttc, what with everything else in your life at the moment, I can imagine you are about ready to pop! Hang in there. I hope that everything sorts itself out real soon. Good luck with your DS too. Thinking of you.

Greedy - Your children are adorable!!!!!

Everyone else... HULLO!!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 28/03/2007 16:50

Hey Ready - wondered where you were
I like your visualisation if he's playing football, is there another bun in the oven? You can get pre seed on access.diagnostics website. If you do it before 31/3 type in coupon code snow5% to get 5% discount or snow10% if you spend more than £150 (which is easy, it's like a sweet shop for TTC gadgets!)

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 17:04

There would definitely be another bun in the oven!! Once the floodgate opens
I would really like to have 2 children, quite close together. But the best laid plans of mice and men gang aft agley!!! I would be thrilled with just the one!!

Thank you for the voucher, I will pop on there now, before I wimp out

iwillbepgbydec07 · 28/03/2007 19:48

evening ladies!

this thread has slowed down loooaddss!!!

mrsmc - i am loving all of your tactics to tempt fate this month! i am there alongside you too. pre-seed, ov kit, temps, grapefruit juice, hpts. - what does the epo and flax seed oil do? are you still on b6? i scrapped that and switched to sanatogen pronatal instead.

minxi - sorry to hear that af is on her way another month bites the dust

have joined ovusoft still struggling to get to grips with it thought especially as my screen doesnt seem to display all of the words must be a wrong setting on the monitor. but im sure you girls will help me out when i get stuck! i have added my chart on the charts only thread.

will the chart draw my coverline and pin point ov etc for me? or do i have to alter settings?

as my last months charts wasnt succesful and was very unclear i am going to be checking all signs cp, ov sticks and ferning just to clarify everything! i am going to book my gp appointment for june i need to get checked and put my mind at rest but also i shall have 3 months worth of temp charts and been trying for a year.

and i seriously seriously SERIOUSLY going to try and chill out. i am still a bit shocked and upset about af arriving this month because even though i doubted it..i did think we stood a really good chance of a bfp and i just know that the effort will not be put in this month...which i guess is not too much of a bad thing because it should enable me to relax!

oh and i am booking accupuncture again for friday - last attempt wasnt very succesful so fingers crossed.

iwillbepgbydec07 · 28/03/2007 19:55

i have added my picture onto my profile for my sins - limited time only!! it is being swiftly wiped off in a few days

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 20:26

OK - I gave them another chance but I am left with only one option - to denounce Kirsty & Phil - they may as well rename the show "Reproduction Reproduction" - Are your watching Ready?? - this time the "announcement" was in the first 15 mins!!! arghhhhh

greedyforbabies · 28/03/2007 20:32

seaside..............you make me laugh!
iwillbe..............i wish i was young again! i can't see a wrinkle on you!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 20:35

Seaside - No I am not watching... I have sky+ed it, DH out, and we like to watch it together (aaaaaw - bleurgh ) - I am guessing there is a bitch with a baby - How fecking rude!!! How are you honey??

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 20:39

Iwillbe - gorgeous pics!! - come on girls - we may be FTC but at least we are all stunners on this thread!!!

LOL - I have also done a bulk buy from access diagnostics! (MrsMc - you should start asking for commission;)) - it all arrived today - preseed, FSH tests etc and I also trolled off to Boots this afternoon to buy more (exhorbitantly priced) sticks for my CB monitor and was forced (!) to get a HPT test as it was free with any CB purchase - typical - now I have 2 tests sitting taunting me in the drawer hoping to get used one day! (someday over the rainbow!!)

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 20:40

Oh no - I feel so awful - they have just come back to them a month later and they had a mc sorry everyone for being so mean and sarcastic!!

seaside72 · 28/03/2007 20:41

That'll teach me

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 20:43

Oh seaside you had no idea. Don't be so soft. (BIG HUG)

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 20:44

That was "soft" in the nicest way possible of course, sweets!!! You weren't to know!!

Oh yes, Iwillbe, aren't you young and glam!!! I suddenly feel very old.
