ARGGGGGGGGGGGG Charlotte Church.... Even my husband said "bloody hell even that Charlotte Church is pregnant!"

Right... I have yet again convinced myself I am pregnant. My stomach is swollen and hurts (I think I'm constipated) and every time I need a wee I'm thinking I'm pregnant! HELP! I know it is highly unlikely with all the stress and lack of BD, but I keep slipping into the what ifs!
Solution, I could stop temping for the rest of the month and just allow my AF to come and take some of the pressure off.. Any thoughts? Apart from I am driving myself insane!

RahRah1 · 11/04/2007 09:10

I will catch up with everyone in a bit... I could not get out of bed this morning and have loads of work to catch up on and need to get to the office today... (Another contributing sign that I am convincing myself that I'm pregnant, tiredness... but could be down to being a lazy git!)

rah - I know how you feel - I am scrutinising every little stomach gurgle, emotion, feeling etc - It literally drives you insane. TBH I am going to keep temping becaue it doesnt really make any differnce as mine never drops till after Af has started anyway? Iwas looking at your chart earlier and I noticed that I had a dip on 4dpo like you did yesterday? More analysis - but think that is too early for implantation. I keep reading about people puking from 3dpo and I have never wished so much to be sick!!! Think one month I may end up sticking my fingers down my throat in madness!!

City - glad you have had a catch up and are feeling a bit mor up - we are a lovely little group on here if I do say so myself!! Thanks for the suggestions re DH - I wish I could just pop over to meet him for sme BD but he is only gone a week and we have 2 dogs that are a pain to get looked after and now we live at the end of the land !! (in cornwall) any travel is such a masive undertaking to get to airports etc grrrr!

Hi Ready the light stays on until we all graduate! Did you see Marbella Belle?s last night? It was awful! Grandparents (who also lived there for 10 years) wanted to see it but don?t know DH and I are moving back, I hope it hasn?t put DH off! One of the women was pregnant and smoking away, I know it?s her body and her baby but it made me . What?s this pact you have with Rah then?

Seaside ? I have my fingers crossed for you Your holiday sounds bliss I hope you get good weather. Charlotte Church does seem to have it all doesn?t she? it should be a cute kid with a good sense of humour though (and the ability to drink lots!) Haven?t read your thread on flower remedies yet but I will. I saw lot of BFPs on the April thread but also saw that there have been a few MCs on the December thread too why does it have to happen? Sorry to hear DH might be away at the crucial time, maybe you won?t need him here or maybe you can do a Greedy and get diamond earrings and a BFP ? Greedy ? that has got to be up there for one of the best TTC stories I know!

Hello Citydevil ? PMSL at the phrase Celebrity Trash Muppets ? !

Hi Rahrah ? how are things with you hon? You could be, have faith. Personally, I find it less stressful if I don?t temp as you can reason with yourself if you have your temps I really hope you are, that?ll be the most incredible good news and you?ll cheer us all up immensely!

Ready · 11/04/2007 13:14

So we are all agreed ? Pregnant Charlotte Church = ARGH!

Cityangel ? Do you want to add yourself to the temp list? Manchester is grand ? really enjoying it up this way! Although I do stand out like a sore thumb with my ?posh? accent! We are resigned to the possibility of leaving in the summer though. Will wait and see. I am a football fan (are you??) but not Man Utd ? I?ve been an Arsenal fan since a child.
DH isn?t getting impatient, which I am grateful for ? it wouldn?t do to have 2 of us getting frustrated each month ? He is really looking forward to being a Dad, but he?s a laid back person in general, and just says that it will happen when it is meant to! Oh, I wish I could be that calm!!
I think a temp buddies meet up would be brilliant actually!! I wonder how we would all be with each other in person ? something tells me EWCM would not be a hot-topic
I hadn?t even thought about Kate Moss! Tut.

Rah ? Constipation is a good sign of pregnancy isn?t it?? And tiredness too!! I personally don?t think that stopping temping would help me with not getting my hopes up. But you need to do what makes you feel better! There is nothing wrong with thinking you might be pregnant ? PMA and that! Fingers and toes crossed for you!! Don't be working too hard today, just in case

Seaside ? I thought it was really cool that you knew Suffolk, and I was bleating on about it to DH when he got home last night!! It?s a small world isn?t it!
Shame you can?t go with DH on his trip ? but my fingers and toes are crossed that it will be a moot point anyway!! Your high temp is pleasing? Is 4dpo too soon for implantation??

MrsMc ? Oh I get it - I don?t mind being last and turning out the lights, so long as I get a turn
Didn?t see Marbella Belles ? how shocking that woman smoking!! I am sure it hasn?t put your DH off
Well, the pact - it seems that Rah and I are partial to being a tad judgmental of people we see on the street. For instance, chavs with pregnant bellies seem to bring out the green-eyed irrational monster in us ? so we have made a pact to not judge people so much. I?ve been quite good actually (with the exception of the celebrity trash muppets)

Iwillbe and Rattling, hope you are both doing ok?

Sounds like everyone is planning their summer holidays - I think I'm going to book ours this week. Difficult to tell yet, but I think it might coincide with high BD requirement which could be good . We are going on a cycling holiday though - 40 miles a day for 6 days! Not sure how that will affect the libido

Rah - it seems a little soon for symptoms, but I do so hope they are. Will have my fingers crossed for you and Seaside for the next week.

rattling
Blimey a cycling holiday, are you fit? You could always go 'adventurous' after about 5 miles. That way you have pumped yourselves up, do the deed and then knacker yourselves out by another 35 miles... lol
You are right about the symptoms, apparently nothing really happens until about day8-10 after ovulation, so clearly you would not be able to get symptoms any earlier! Whoops! I am trying not to let my imagination run a way with me, but I'm a dreamer!

Ready
Well done for keeping the pact, Charlotte Church really does not count.. I on the other hand felt myself slipping yesterday. I was in town going to the office and at every turn... massively pregnant women! ARRRGGG and of course bad thoughts creeping into my head about them What is happening about Kate Moss... please don't tell me she is pregnant too?????

iwillbe
I would of murdered my husband if he had touched my car. My husband does stupid things in tempter but normally breaks his own bones. He hit the bedroom cabinet once and broke his hand and more recently he kicked the lounge door and his whole foot swelled up and he could not walk on it for ages. Hope your hubbie is feeling very guilty I think you need lots of loving and comfort (LOTS OF BD) for him to make up for his anger!

MrsMcJnr
I wish I was too, but realistically this month their is no chance. Both me and DH have been so stressed out and the did not BD right at all... think we totally missed the boat between fighting, him going away and then being completely hung over! How are things with you?

Seaside
I must agree with Ready, your temps are very good this month... very high. Have you got any hot water yet? Where has your husband gone?

Cityangel
You missed me
Everyone misses me
Don't worry I don't take it personally
Sorry you have been feeling low for the last couple of weeks Are you staying for a while. Birmingham is very close to me, I live in Coventry

seaside72 · 12/04/2007 08:54

Had a confusing array of temps on my chart this morning partly cos I woke up a bit early- so have a veritable essay on my notes section with all temps (ranging from 36.71 upwards- have gone with the highest as got it twice and it was at my most reg time and when I put it in FF seemed to adjust and get rid of most of my white circles and replace them with blue dots- very ineresting - I did not know it would do that/re-learn your waking time- clever! )

Hope everyone else is OK this morning

Ready - Am geting braver posting in other areas of MN!! - got a free tarot card reading yesterday in Religion/Spirituality section I haven't been to Suffolk for ages but my accountant is based in Newmarket also!!

rattling - Wow I am very impressed with a cycling holiday - hope DH has extra padding to protect his swimmers - make sure he drinks plenty of juices and smoothies on the way!!

Iwillbe - Hope the windscreen is fixed! - any sign of OV yet?

Rah - How are you doing today? - I have already convinced myself I could be pg and then convinced myself AF is on its way at least three times and its only 8.45am arghhh

MrsMc I hope you are feeling a bit better today {{{hugs}}} for me CD3 is when I start to feel a little bit less down about things. You are a beautiful, intelligent , nurturing and creative woman. We all know it and will convice you whenever you are having any wobbles

Ohh thats all of us - we need more to man the shaft!! We need a recruitment drive!!

seaside72 - 37.03 CD22 9dpo LP12 (13th cycle)
Rahrah - 36.8 CD25 DPO7 LP13(5th cycle)

I've been a Chelsea fan since age 5. I go to a few games when my brother reluctantly gives me his ticket.
Your dh sounds cool and laid back. Mine is starting to get a bit worried, but I am trying to act cool.
Which went fine until I spent an hour sobbing in bed when I unexpectantly got AF last cycle.... ooops
If we meet we could have banned topics like EWCM!

RahRah how rude of me I am sorry please forive me. How's things with you?
Lets meet at yours then! I lived in Leamington Spa once they have a nice Mexican there
Fingers crossed for you this month

Oh seaside glad you're feeling better that's tough about dh. Still I bet its pretty where you live compared to the urban jungle I am in
Maybe get him to fed-ex some swimmers I hope your temps stop being confusing.

MrsMC how goes it with you? Sorry AF came here's hoping for this month's cycle.

Rattling what an energetic holiday! Mine coincides with AF because we're going to a wedding and tagging holiday on the end of it.
I'm hoping the hotel has internet so I can catch up. I'll be out there in less than 2 weeks

I will be how goes it?

Right I'd better try and get on with some work!

RahRah1 · 12/04/2007 10:40

OMG... I lived in Leamington Spa too, my parents live in Warwick. How old were you when you lived in Leamington? The office where I am now working at is in Leamington!

Pssst. City, what's your temp today??

Ready · 12/04/2007 11:08

Morning ladeez!!

Rah ? Good god, no. Kate Moss already has a child ? but she was apparently (legal eagles? Am I even allowed to say this??) on heroin at the time, if the papers are to be believed?? But the thought of her and that muppet Pete Doherty conceiving a child together ? well, I think that would just about finish me off
How about when you see these bloated pregnant women you think of our pact, count to ten and say ?Ready will be proud of me!!?

Rattling - Crumbs, a cycling holiday!! I don?t think I?d do more than sleep after cycling all day, not to mention saddle sore When do you go, again?

Seaside - It?s so funny how small the world is!! You and me have location connections, and now Rah and Cityangel!!
Giggle at you convincing yourself of both outcomes so many times before 8.45 ? I was still eating breakfast and reading the paper at that time, being pg had not even crossed my mind!
That is very clever that the FF adjusted all your times, I suspect only the VIP package offers that!
I meant to ask you yesterday but forgot? with regard to smoothies, is it just as beneificial to have plenty of fruit? Only trying to get DH to drink anything with banana in is impossible. He will eat them, but not drink them ? don?t ask! So last night I gave him a bowl of strawberries (with ice-cream ) but wondered if I should have blitzed a milkshake and would that be as good as a smoothie? I am waffling here, apologies

Cityangel - Chelsea fan huh!! Do you think you can win the title this year? Looks likely that there will be some silverware making its way back to Stamford Bridge this season! Had to chuckle at Mourinho in the background of Terry?s interview ? whooping and cheering ? so unlike Mr. Cool. Lucky you to have dibs on a season ticket! I am ashamed to say that I only went to Highbury once but as soon as I could drive, and could actually get there, watching DH play was the priority on the weekends, and plus it was nigh on impossible to get tickets when I had the chance. Looking forward to visiting the Emirates Stadium though!
Oh bless your heart, for sobbing uncontrollably. But to be honest, sometimes it really is the best thing, to just let it all out! I think too often we bottle stuff up and it?s not good. How are you feeling today??

MrsMcJnr - Hope you are feeling happier today. I was really worried about you yesterday. Is it weird that I find myself thinking about my MN mates a lot throughout the day. Some days more than my RL mates . Not long now, til you can have your house back, and get some much deserved R&R! Big hugs.

I thought Minxi would be back by now, and Weepootleflump would have had broadband set up Bit worried.

Right. CD11 here, so going to start the OPKs. I feel less worried about getting a + so with a bit of luck that will mean I don?t delay OV this time. Fingers crossed please!

Thanks ladies for all your support yesterday, I do feel a bit better with a lot more energy today thanks for putting up with me. Seaside ? that was so sweet, thank you

Decided I need a holiday but DH is being very strict!! Can you help? Details here

How are you all today?

mum03 · 12/04/2007 11:54

MrsMc - Good to see you are feeling a little brighter today.

Rah - I have lived in Leamington Spa AND Warwick (and Radford Semele - if you know where that is!) It is a small world - to think I might have met you in real life - wierd....

I am enjoying not temping !!! it is great, I have so much other stress in my life at the moment that I needed time away from focussing on ttc, and it is a big relief. We will however not be pro-actively avoiding ttc, we will just leave it to higher powers to decide if this should be the month it happens! Hope you don't mind me popping in like this still, I miss you all!!!

Ready · 12/04/2007 12:09

Mum - Glad you are enjoying not temping!!! And it's lovely for you to pop in still. We all miss you too!

Ready · 12/04/2007 12:17

Crossed with you earlier MrsMc - glad you are feeling better today!!

RahRah1 · 12/04/2007 13:34

OMG Mum..... This is amazing... thats three of us now on this thread that lived in Leamington Spa. Di you go to school there? I went to Myton School!!!!

So glad you are feeling more relaxed.XX

mum03 · 12/04/2007 13:39

Rah - I was not there until I reached my 30's, I went there for a job. My dh worked in coventry!!!! It is a small world sometimes. We lived in a fantastic house in Warwick - overlooking Warwick, on bonfire night and new years, we got fireworks from the showground to the left, Warwick castle straight ahead and the Stratford fireworks to the right. We never needed to get our own fireworks, we just sat back with a glass of wine looking out of the window at our own personal fireworks display! If the wind was in the right direction, we used to get all the music from the Warwick castle concerts too, it was fantastic... ah! those were the days.

RahRah1 · 12/04/2007 13:41

MrsMc - Sorry I totally missed yesterday that you were feeling down and pants. Sorry I was not there for you but so glad you are feeling a bit better today. I know how it feels having that first period, although it is a relief (knowing everything is OK with your body) it is also very emotional. Also you are working so hard, it all takes its toll.
You have done so well!! Just be proud of yourself! X

RahRah1 · 12/04/2007 13:44

MUM03... wow...

You must of had a nice house and mortgage to boot! That area does not come cheap!

My mum and dad live on the Myton Road and that is where I grew up from about 11yrs old! (Along by Warwick boys school)

Where did you work, if you don't mind me asking?

I worked until recently in Coventry by the train station for a well known bank>

It is very much a small world!

MrsMcJnr · 12/04/2007 14:07

Thanks ladies

citydevilbunny · 12/04/2007 16:22

36.5 today not expecting Ov for a week

Woo hoo I got the job! Really happy, phoned dh and he is well chuffed too! I have a third interview for a different role tomorrow, but got offered the one I really want!

I'm off to read the internal docs advice as bd this month resulting in pg could mean lost maternity pay but I'm not sure how much?

Being at Warwick Uni lead me to Leam.. I lived on Radford Road a few years ago.

Yes I'm hoping we'll win some CFC silverware but I'm just happy we're doing well this season
