Thanks Ladies you have made me feel better. It is just a relief to share it. Seaside ? you sound very like us, in a very selfish way, it?s nice to know that we?re not the only ones who live for now, our parents would flip if they knew the level of our credit card debt.

Ready ? the agents are being good, we?ve had quite a few viewers but without sounding arrogant, I think the house has been out of a lot of their leagues, why bother looking if you can?t afford it? the feed back we?ve had is all positive about the house, loved it etc etc only negatives have been that one set thought the garden was too small and another were worried about the high school ? can?t change either of those things!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 03/04/2007 17:18

MrsMc - Not arrogant at all. I didn't want to come right out and say, how much is your house up for. That would have been rude of me! But now I understand a bit better, the bigger the house, the smaller the market to sell to. There will be someone out there, hopefully soon that will fall in love with it, and can actually afford it. Have you always wanted to move to Spain to live?

fettleandminifettle · 03/04/2007 22:03

Just popping in to wish you all a lovely Easter!

Away for a week - hope for a BFP or two when I get back

love and hugs to all

Did not test this morning, have tried to talk myself around to thinking that I stopped temping too soon and that I ov-d later that the ff software thinks, so I think I may have even as much as 6 days left... please help me to keep on an even keel here, I am trying desperately not to raise my hopes up. Thanks

yum03creameggs · 04/04/2007 08:45

Hi Fettle - have a great holiday!

MrsMc ? tbc CD35/7dpo? Anov? LP 10-12 (1st cycle after MC, 9th cycle)

MUM03, not sure what to say as things do look quite positive. I would just test, as I know its easy to say but you either are or your not. You don't normally get your CD wrong and DPO and seem to have some short cycles. 36.9 is also a fantastic temp!

Had a right drama last night, outlaws came and did not leave until 11.30...was slightly drunk and thought DH would give it up, anyway he had no intentions so we ended up in an argument until 1am this morning... I was balling and he said I was a mentalist... GREAT. Hardly got any sleep as was so pissed off... anyway this morning he must of been feeling bad and we had a quicky...but I can't see a half hearted knacked shag producing a baby... so this month is definitely a wipe off... ... he is now saying he can not take the pressure and that having a baby at the moment is too much! Hello we have been trying for god knows how long!

rah so sorry to hear of your nasty night - I hate those - late night tears and frustration - its so annoying as you know it is counter-productive but you just can't seem to stop it happening Well done on the morning quickie - you never know and i might just be the shag you least expect that bears the fruit !!! Works for all the accidentally pg ones - why not for us!

Yum03 Well done for holding out - its so confusing - you just think you have got a plan and then all the doubts creep in I still think you should test if AF hasn't arrived by the weekend?

I have had a confusing morning also - feel a bit sore throatey and woke up at 6.30am but sort of laid there and dozed and then it was 7.30 so took temp and it was 36.69 - not sure if that means ov yesterday or not? Annoyed if it does as only got first peak day with monitor yesterday and working on the every other day BD I was planning on ov on CD14 so bd 10, 12, 14 etc. So lay there this morning thinking we should BD then to get another chance in but DH wouldnt play and I am determined not to get in a tizzy about it and then all that happens is we stop bding altogether like last month- Argghhhh the confusion - why can't our eggs just send us a little text saying "coming out about 9pm tomorrow - see you then"!!

Oh well - am already planning next month - hoping to try Readys theory of 3 days in a row -if we can . Ho hum.

Hope everyone else is doing OK - its a glorious day here - sooo sunny and warm!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 04/04/2007 10:40

Love the idea of a text from our eggs! LOL

I have tried the BD every night, but now on the theory that wears down the quality of the sperm. So I was trying to hold out until I saw a positive OPK... Hence the drama last night! I can't beleive I am acting like this and getting so upset.... I was never like this when we were trying before, I just accepted it. My husband thinks we need to put TTC in reality and not expect it to happen and not time anything.... but then are we decreasing our chances?

seaside72 · 04/04/2007 10:55

IKWYM rah - I was worikng on the old sperm theory this month - we will hopefully get results of DH test next week so will know if that whole area is a concern or not then anyway. I would love to be able to forget all the couting/testing/ peeing on sticks (unless they are the HPT ones) and I have a feeling it may not happen until I can do that or we have intervention but I still cant seem to relinquish that control??I think we just so want to do this ourselves and want to do all we think we should to make it happen - its only natural.

BTW have you booked that holiday yet rah

fettle - Have a lovely time. Happy Easter!

Rah - Sorry to hear about last night. Big hug. You are not a mentalist sweety! And don't rule out the quicky - it can happen, as Seaside says, accidents happen, so why not to us
that your DH seems to be feeling the pressure, my guess would be that he is worried that it might be because of him - and the defence mechanism kicks in. Now's the time to stick together, and reassure each other that it will be ok!
Obviously you have to do what feels right for you. If you can stop the charting and just have plenty of sex then that is definitely one way to go.
I started charting because I wanted to get to know my body and see what it was doing, and now that I see a pattern, I think it calms me down in the respect that it seems to show ovulation is occuring - I don't think that charting makes me any less worried about not being able to conceive though - we just need to bide our time and be patient. Remember there is only a 20% chance of conceiving in every cycle! Hang in there

Seaside - Just keep going with every other day, even if you think you might have ovulated. Just keep it going See what tomorrows temp brings!
Either side of OV is fine you know, shall I play the "greedy" card one more time - at least 4 days before OV!!
PMSL at the text from the eggs - yes please!! Sign me up for that!

Feeling a little bit happier today!! The fog does tend to lift once the cramps lessen And now I know I am possibly going to be doubly fertile for 2 months in 2008 - so there's still a chance

OvenReady your are understanding our house situation perfectly My family moved to Spain when I was 10 so I spent my teenage years there. If you?d asked me 10 years ago if I?d go back, I would have said no way, its too quiet, too laid back, there? s nothing to do when it rains etc etc but now that all seems like bliss! My parents quit a rat race in the Far East for Spain for lifestyle reasons when they were only a couple of years older than me, now, I totally see why.

Yum03 ? ok hon, see your point, wanna test with me next Thurs? I?m not expecting a +ive but if I have OVd that?ll be my longest LP at 15 days and it?ll be 6 weeks since my MC. Have to say when my temps hit 36.9 I thought, that?s it, I?m testing!

Rah ? that?s probably exactly the type that produces a baby! I?m sorry you fought but maybe you needed to let off steam and it ended in a good result. What?s happening with that holiday? I think you both need it

Seaside ? swollen glands can be a sign of OV apparently. Try and get one in tonight just in case, it is early in the cycle though, is that usual for you? Like your text message idea ? read somewhere that we ovulate at 6pm!? Don?t know why!

rah - im so sorry your dp is being a stubborn ass! but atleast you got a quickie in this morning - it doesnt matter about the quality of sex aslong as his ~0 ~0 meet your 0 {egg btw} i have had many a night where i lose all control and self respect in dp and scream at him in anger because he hasnt conformed to my cycle! because of this i now dont even bother telling him -HE ASKS ME! and a few times during bding last month i said to him i hope your not under pressure to do this and he agreed each time he was doing it because he wants to. a bit of reverse psycology goes a long way!

yum03 - what a confusing state of mind you are in - i would say test atleast then you will know!

mrsmcjnr - ((hugs)) after all you have been through the last thing you need is this stress. i know how you feel on the money side of things as soon as it comes in one hand it is out the other! i am always on at dp to slow down and relax and enjoy life a little bit but he wont any money he has goes straight into property and it really does annoy me because our life is just one big headache all the time - hence why we havnt had a holiday in 5 years and it is me the one booking the 2 we are going on this year!

ready - i think thats a lovely idea what you have done! cant you get a nice little box and keep it safe in there and maybe add to it as time goes on even when your baby is born?

i have booked in at the doctors after all of yours incouragement! i think its a good job done. my appointment is for the end of this month and although i was shaking like a leaf when i was booking it i am actually feeling very relieved and like a huge weight has been lifted because i am just hoping i wont be fobbed off and that i may get some answers and will feel more at ease and then get my bfp

Eggs4EasterFertilizedPlz · 04/04/2007 15:08

on ovusoft on the box where you fill in details "primary fertility signs" on the events part it says menstruation spotting intercourse - but whats the box next to that my pc wont display it

and also where you write the time temp taken at the top - whats the writing next to that with the tick box option

seaside72 · 04/04/2007 16:24

MrsMc - interesting factoid about the swollen glands?? I am starting to get a bit fed up actually as since we started TTC I have had 6 "illnesses" (tonsillitis, cold, laryngitis (sp??) bladder infections etc) and ALL of them occur in the third week of my cycle CD14-CD21?? I am sure there must be a correlation with my immune system or something - I have never been under the weather as much as I have been in the last year. In the past 7 years I was working I had no more than 10 days of sick (and two of them were beacuse I had chicken pox at 28!!)

Ready - nice to see you chipper again - IKWYM about the cramps subsiding and the mood getting better - I always say it is like walking around with a black veil on for about 4 days and then being able to take it off. I feel irrationaly positive and hopeful that I may get pg this week even though it would be against all odds and 2 weeks ago I was ready to sign up for IVF straight away?? Schizoid that I am!

Eggs4 well done for making the appointment - it is a positive step and hopefully you will be one of those people who starts investigations and then gets pg immediately!!

Chocolatedays · 04/04/2007 16:28

Just popped in to say hello!
I often have a look to see how you are all doing. If you are an avid chart spotter
you can see my charts at the bottom of the charts only thread (My Christmas persona was snowydays).

I'm coming up to my third anniversary of ttc (May) so have sadly become a bit lack lustre on day to day temping analysis... though seem unable to give up the hope (33 cycles of symptom spotting and stil can't stop ). Just realised this is my last cycle of natural ttc before I start IVF drugs. It is both scary and exciting. I'm sad natural hasn't done the trick, excited our dream may come true and apprehensive about how we'll feel if IVF doesn't work.

Wishing you all good news looonnnng before you get to my stage!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 04/04/2007 16:41

Thanks guys for your messages about my DH ... I have a question (never one to give up)... I got a faint line yesterday on my OPK, but today I got a positive line. So he is away tonight, but should be back about 7-8pm Thursday night? Do you think I will actually ovulate on Thursday and will Thursday night be too late... How long does it take from LH surge to egg releasing, to egg no longer being able to be fertilized?

MrsMcEasterBunny · 04/04/2007 17:12

Eggs4eatser ? loved your ~0 & 0 very creative! 2 hols this year, sounds fab, where are you off to? Glad you made that appointment. Can?t remember what they say on ovusoft without checking, sorry! Will check on Friday.

That?s weird about all the illnesses being at that time Seaside!

Chocolatedays ? I looked at your chart yesterday actually and wondered if you were still temping. Sorry that the natural way seems to have run out of chances, exciting about the IVF though, how do you feel?

Rah ? ok, so a positive means OV in the next 36 hours. Everything I have ever read says to go for it the day after OV just in case so seems to me that you still have 48 hours potentially.

No MN for me tonight or all day tomorrow as away on business ? see you all on Friday

EasterRampantRAHbit · 04/04/2007 17:15

Enjoy your trip away... have fun

greedyforbabies · 04/04/2007 17:25

snowy/sunshine/chocolate days - just wanted to say good luck with the ivf. at the end of the day, if you get your little baby at the end of it does it really matter if it was natural or IVF? i just think it seems to be so successful for so many people you will get your baby before you know it. you certainly seem to deserve it.

seaside72 · 04/04/2007 17:32

Good Luck sunshine/snowy/chocolate days - please keep us posted on your progress - DH and I are in the process of referral and I am hoping to start IVF rollercoaster over the summer if no luck naturally by then. It all seems such a massive learning curve and I would appreciate all the advice I can get!

seaside72 · 04/04/2007 17:33

Have a good trip MrsMc !

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 04/04/2007 18:31

Eggs4Easter - Well done on being brave Fingers crossed it all goes well.

MrsMc - I have always imagined you with a Scottish accent, but now I am not so sure, what with all the moving around
Hope your business trip was successful in taking your mind off of your results. Any joy getting a cancellation yet? Or are you just going to wait for the later one?

Seaside - at the veil, I agree!! I love that you are feeling positive at the moment!! YAY! Keep it going

Chocolatedays - Oh flower, all the very best of luck. How wonderful would it be to conceive naturally this cycle!! Make sure you pop on here and let us know how you are getting on. Of course it is totally understandable to feel sad that it hasn't happened naturally, but it won't matter when your baby is here, how they get here! Thinking of you.

Rah - If you got a +ve today then I think that Thursday is pretty bang on!! And make sure to throw in a sesh on Friday too, for good measure. My understanding on OPKs is that the +ve indicates that OV will occur within 24-36 hours, so Thursday is definitely not too late!! Fingers crossed. Soften DH up nicely before he goes with promises of what he can expect on his return

Yum - How you feeling???????

Gracie - Wondering how you are doing??

seaside72 · 04/04/2007 20:57

READY - PMSL -Where are you? - watching Reproduction Reproduction" {angry] ARGHHHHHHH - I might write to the production company and ask if they can give out a warning next time "this show is full of happiness and fertility and will end with a baby/ bump"

I am so depressed again and its not fair hmmphh
