Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

I was thinking just the other day that every time I see a magpie I am frantically looking for a second! 8 dpo here and was dreaming about being in work and trying to hide my bright pink FRER box from everyone because it was a positive test so obviously that means I needed to tester this morning of course was BFN am such an idiot definitely going to hold out until Friday now doh!

haha me too! its silly really.. they are only birds. Where on earth did this superstition come from? (Might go google that.)

Hi girls. Had BFN yesterday on FRER test and AF due tomorrow and still have all the preggo symptoms aagghhhh xx i need those mittens that go through ya coat, but with the string cut short to keep my hands off the tests. I'm not even TTC I'm just convinced now and after the BFN I must say, despite my situation, I'm quite upset, it's ridiculous !!!
Think it's because of the symptoms then the BFN, it's done my head in it's pathetic !! Lol xx will test again after a week but I don't think I'm gonna last until the end of the day let alone a week !! Lol xx

I must admit that im getting so bored of BFN's. :( just did a test and guess what it said. sigh

Onto cycle 7 I guess. Now just waiting for AF to arrive.

I'm sure there's a really bad batch of PTs circulating ! I think I'm gonna get a pink felt tip pen and a ruler, doctor my next test and then put it in a frame on the fridge to excuse my scoffing, stuff it (no pun intended) xx

Yeah it must be the tests not us right? I saw 3 single magpies today FFS does it count if you add them up? 3 for a girl yes?

10dpo BFN as expected well at least I can enjoy my Friday night wine! Hopefully AF arrives promptly at the start of next week so j can move on, hope all the rest of you ok xx

So fed up of taking tests and they show a negative result. Ovia said period was due yesterday and nothing showed so did another test this morning.. BFN.

My BBT app now says AF due on Tuesday as my temp is still elevated. Going to stop testing now as it's made me very fed up!

Aw pink is temp still up not a good thing though? Well I know I am an idiot but I got very drunk last night on just 2 glasses of wine so did a test today, the only ones in the shop were crappy blue dye but really this can't be an evap can it?! I did a digital at the same time and it was neg

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words.

Sorry for the long absence. Needed to stop thinking about it and focus on something (anything!) that wasn't baby-making. I'm feeling a little better for it. Estimating that I'm 5DPO (based on my appallingly kept BBT chart).

Me and OH have been ill most of this cycle so not a lot of DTD. But enough for me to be getting impatient. I almost wish we hadn't so I won't be disappointed when AF undoubtedly shows in the next couple weeks!

Maybe I'm still not 100%.

Well I did the second clear blue in the pack (have posted another desperate lady is it a line type thread) and another faint positive so going frer shopping this morning, am trying not to get hopes up as if is a chemical or early loss will be the third this year x

Hi cookie, that looks positive to me. Can you take the test apart, I had a few blue dye ones early on which looked negative but I could see more of a line when I opened them up!

So I'm an idiot and did a test this morning (5 days early) because I couldnt control myself....obvs negative. But just now I've sorted bright pink spotting...could it be implantation bleeding? AF due friday/Saturday..

Congrats cookie! I would say give It a few days for the digi though - mine tool over a week to show a positive on the digi!

So when I wiped this morning it was very, very pale pink (like if you weren't a crazy who deliberately checked whenever they wiped then you probably wouldn't even notice). Googled it, naturally, and of course it could be implantation bleeding, or ovulation bleeding, or just plain old spotting.

I've concluded that no one really knows anything, from one source to the next the information changes. One page said that implantation bleeding was darker than menstrual blood, the next said it was lighter.

I know the first two possible causes are actually fairly uncommon, and random spotting is most likely and most common, and that's what I'm assuming it is. I just wish having a uterus was more straightforward!
