Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

Well this is annoying....I'm most definitly ovulating today...and DH is abroad on a conference. We DTD 2 days ago and he isn't back until Friday when a can DTD again...have I missed my chance this month do you think? My app says I could be fertile for up to 6 days but I thought the egg only lasts 24 hours? I'm confused!

There should be a few still around you are in with a good chance still some people trying for a girl only have sex 2-3 days before ovulation and conceive? Have you plenty of CM to help?x

Fingers crossed! I had EWCM for 1 day 2 days ago. Now back to normal. Had ovary pains yesterday. DH back tomorrow so will have to jump him as soon as I see him haha

@chewbacca83 Good luck! What Cookie says is true.. apparently sperm can live for up to 5 days in you.. so you might be okay.

I'm wondering if I should just take a test tomorrow morning.. A first response one.. It would be a week before my period is due..

Can you tell that I am still umming and arring over the hot tub?! haha

Oh blast.. didn't realise there is a first response test and then an early response test. Thought first response was all just early ones. So the ones I have just bought are no good . Angry just wasted a test.. I know I know.. tonight was too early but i bought it and couldn't resist.

Oh no but at least you can enjoy the hot tub guilt free? I am sitting here with a glass of wine even though potentially I could be in 2ww have no idea the pains I was having are all gone so maybe they were ovulation? Maybe maybe maybe implantation who bloody knows but I will be testing in the morning as I am getting drunkedy drunk tomorrow night x (my right nipple is sore)

Well actually it's still far too early for anything to show on that test.. so part of me feels like I still can't hot tub. Haha

Hi ladies I really want to join you sound as mad as me.. ermm slightly embarrassed as I don't know when I ovulated but my AF is due on Thursday and my boobs are killing me .... plus the sides of my belly feel kind of stretched and I'm bloated :-/ such fun!!!
To test or not to test ??? Xxx

Hi @JenNTonic Welcome to the madhouse! :)

If it was me I would test with a early response test.. as they say they can get a reading up to 6 days before a missed period. But you need to keep it mind that it could give you a false negative as its still a bit early.

My ovia app is telling me to take an early response test but i dont have any at home. Have ordered some and might take it on Wednesday morning. It would be 3 days before AF is due so should hopefully give me a proper reading.

Feeling VERY tired this morning and my hips have been killing me. I am trying to not hope that these are symptoms of a BFP.. to be honest they are probably a side effect from all the rubbish i ate over the weekend!!

Awwww hope you're ok though. Hmm I think I may text dp and get him to grab one for me.
I know "symptom spotting" may be at its worst right now but have you had any other signs ???? Xx I too ate like an absolute pig over the weekend so I'm in two minds lol

the only other signs ive had is severe headaches.. like properly severe! Feels like someone is sticking a knife into the top of my head. :(

That and I have just noticed that my resting heart rate graph on my fibit last week has slowly been rising. it started at 58 and is now at 63. the highest before that was 55! Confused

Woah ! That's a serious increase ! Def a sign of something changing! I've decided as it's a 2 pack, im going to do one tonight and if it BFN im going to wait until Saturday.
No headaches but breasts like rocks, itchy skin, insatiably hungry and bollocked other half over roast potatoes Confused yesterday. Also got teary at dragons den... but to be fair, the ideas were pretty grim Grin

Like i said.. i'm trying not to hope too much. This is our 6th Cycle of trying for our first so i really don't want to get my hopes up and then have them dashed... you know?

But that has not stopped me from trying to google the hell out of it! haha

Good luck ladies. Ovia is saying 11 days before I can test....nipples are a bit sore but no other symptoms.

Awwww. Yes I know what you mean. it's so nerve racking isn't it. I think I may do a live POAS so we can rejoice or swear together lol
Chewbacca my nipples were sore to begin with but now it's taken over my whole chest :-/ started about 10 days ago xx

Ok I'm shitting myself. My partner and I are actually on a trial seperartion (although he does come over to have dinner/ watch movies ) with our 9 year old. Anyway he's on his way with the FRER tests and I'm bricking it.
When I text him I just sent a pic of the test that I found on google :-/ and that was it. He text back"ok, leave it with me, any gherkins? Lol" thinks he's funny Grin
Anyway I just wanted to ask if the instructions on the actual test say to test in the morning or could I do it this eve? Xx

Ha ha nope silence as bugger all to report! I carried on with OPK and they went negative so pretty sure ovulated last wee on CD 27 ffs and hub was away been researching and apparently there is a 10% chance to conceive if DTD 3-4 days before ovulation no chances slimmer than slim will test on Friday with a FRER which will be about 9/10 post ovulation!
Oh jen that sounds like a nightmare do you really want to be preggo in that stressful situation you poor thing!Flowers

@Cookie1831 sorry to hear that your other half was away... still going to keep my fingers crossed for you anyway. :)

My BBT seems to still be high this morning.. and my DH said to me last night that i seem to be like a heater in bed at the moment. Trying not to think too much into it as we have been sleeping with the window shut recently and normally its open.

Also keeping an eye on my Resting heart rate.. although I did see 1 magpie this morning so not feeling too hopeful. meh.
