Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

Ahhh ! Congrats!!! 😊😊 so.. if you were due on Sunday like me.. I could perhaps get my positive today.. (now I wanna test again. Hahah) did you use a FR one?

I'm still symptom spotting. Can't work out of my cervix is higher then normal and my CM is similar to what I had last month in amount but it seems.. thicker? Not to mention I've been having weird cramps today.. but that's probably because I helped someone move house yesterday. Ha!

I did a FRER yes - and a standard superdrug just out of curiosity to compare the two. Got the faintest of squinted on the standard but quite a strong line on the FRER

ahh thank you cookie I was surprised by how strong the line was this early. Still not quite trusting it haha although i'm cautiously pleased. Had a MMC last time so am definitely going to just take each day as it comes!

in all seriousness though, you must post! This is the purpose of this post in the grand scheme of things isnt it.. we are ALL after our BFP's.

I really want to test tonight when I get home.. but i just dunno if i should bother wasting my last FR test when I feel like 70% sure that i'm not preggers this month.

its hard.. I am getting so many symptoms.. like I feel really tired and ive got a weird cramp near my hips. BUT.. i could be tired because i spent the whole of yesterday helping my mother in law pack up her house (did about 18k steps yesterday!) and my hips could be hurting because of the amount of time i spent standing up yesterday. My CM is different to what it was last month.. (there seems to be more of it.. and its thicker!) and my cervix seems to be hiding up there.. it's dropped but not nearly as much as it does normally.

Also felt a bit sick earlier.. but again.. this could just be my PMS kicking off again..

WHY do early pregnancy signs have to be so similar to PMS symptoms??! Its so unfair!

I was wondering why the embarrassed face when you said you got bfp! Baby dust is contagious I believe, there will be more to follow I am sure of it!!

Yeah it is bloody annoying about the symptom thing! My boobs feel heavy cervix feels more rubbery, am tired and pale, also am getting funny pully sensation in my pelvis but that is probably a bloody uti from all the shagging but still the whitest of white preg test is driving me nuts!

@Pinkemi you sound exactly like i've been, my to get your hopes up - but i had written off this month as i had so many AF ish symptoms but with queasiness. I really really hope it's not other AF!! i know what you mean i feel like it's just an extra stress thrown in that all the symptoms could b something to else!

Congrats mrsg and rum!! I am so happy for you both! I was hoping to come back to some bfps!!
On another note mine was a BFN, although I'm only cd18 of a 25 day cycle so we will wait and see!! I thought I was ovulating early again because of spotting but I now think it was just left over AF! I think my body is still getting back to normal.
But on a positive note it means I get to drink this weekend on a hen do!

Oh i also have a damn cold which wont go away! And obviously.. coz i'm worried I could be preggers.. I haven't been able to take any Sudafed or anything to get rid of it. SO ANNOYING!

Every other day at the minute as no idea when could have ovulated if at all this cycle, am trying to have the will power to only test once or twice a week as is costing me a fortune but I can't help myself!! Bought some cheapy waitrose ones to use but going to get some FReR to have as back up in case get anything that looks like possible positive x

I have even down loaded one of those photo negative app things on my phone for checking squinters I really need to get a grip/life/hobby!!

haha oh Cookie! I shouldn't laugh.. but that is quite funny. Although.. I haven't even had a squinter so thats probably why i find it amusing.

So where can I actually buy a FRER in store? Ive always just ordered off Amazon..

Oh my god.. that is what I have! 2 days before AF is due.. well Its a mixture of that and the glue type one.. (if that makes sense.)

Have you checked your cervix position?

Looks like I will be making a trip to Boots at the weekend then.

It's sorta middle been higher been lower but feels more round and rubbery like a rubber ring if that makes sense??

Although my boots was was negative today not it isn't sensitive at all

I was going to "try" and hold out until Sunday evening.. give AF a bit of time to show up so i don't waste a test.

Although.. I have to admit I am feeling VERY tempted to test tonight.. If its a negative on a FRER test then at least I know AF will be making a visit on Sunday.

Hi all, I'm new to all of this but have loved reading all your messages and seeing that I'm not the only one who keeps testing! This is our first month ttc properly (following ovia, doing opks), I feel like as AF is due Monday that I'm obsessing these last few days and probably seeing symptoms that aren't there, still getting BFN's and can't imagine this will be the month as I really don't think I've tracked properly!
