Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

Now if I am pregnant, then when on earth did I conceive?! It can't have been too long ago because the line is only very faint. But I haven't had a period since the 15th of May

Fingers crossed! I'll test again tomorrow and report back. Keeping the local shops in business with buying tests anyway...

If you get a clearer positive tomorrow, I would just use the 15th of may as last AF when making a midwife appointment, and maybe just explain at your first appointment? They use last AF date and cycle length so they should be able to work out from that?

Four days...not sure I'm going to make it! On the up side, I've got weekend plans to keep me busy. On the down side, it's with a friend and her kids and I always end up super-broody spending time with them.

Although I feel a little like AF may be turning up early anyway... :(

Welcome new ladies! I'm back in as my fertile window starts in 2 days (yeehaa!)

I'm going to Thailand for 2 weeks on thursday for our last "big" holiday before kids come along. So of course I've bought a packet of FRER to use while there lol. Considered taking cheapies but then I'd just be testing every day lolll.

I also used my last CBD yesterday. AF was 4.5 days long rather than 6...so obviously I thought I might get a BFP....someone just slap me into reality please!

Haha buns, I have now had two 4 day AF instead of my usual 7 day nightmare, I did the same thing last month and tested, also tested 5 days when I had what I now assume was ov bleeding. We need to hide TTC from our bodies to stop these odd symptoms!
We are holidaying as of Thursday so hoping symptom spotting will be at a minimum this month. CD 6 for me!

So this doesn't make much sense.. I am now on day 5 of high fertility.. according to my OpKs.. you would think I would have had a peak day by now??

What cd are you @Pinkemi? What kind of opk do you use?

Cycle day 15. I use the clear blue dual hormone ones.

DH and I decided to try for DC2 this month and AF is due tomorrow. Despite not actually having fully unprotected sex yet I still tested this morning. 🙈

I knew it would be a BFN and yet I still had to make sure that I wasn't the .1% condoms fail on.

That is weird @Pinkemi, I've heard the Clear Blue ones are pretty good. Reading around it looks like the LH surge can last up to six days with the last day being the peak. Are you testing once a day?

I am yeah.. in the morning when I wake up. Feeling pretty frisky today so maybe my peak day is on its way.

@Sam91TRS15 I know what you mean. I hate that once we start trying our bodies start to mess with our head's and do things never experienced before. I was 4 days late (never happened before). I started getting period type cramps for almost 10 days before af was due (never had them cramps unless actually on period) and had the shortest period in nearly 17 years. But I know it's stress induced....cuz i COULDN'T STOP BLOODY TESTING MY PEE. And seeing those BFNs mount up....ugh...I think I lost some hair!

Hopefully holiday will take my mind off it too...if only for 10 days...

I CAN'T HOLD IT IN ANY LONGER .....I bought Internet cheapies to take to Thailand with me....because i know im gonna wanna test....I'm so ashamed. At least it's the cheap shit lol

Hey everyone, I'm TTC for the first time (also first ever post)! Currently 9DPO and potentially 1 day before AF (only have a rough idea of cycle length as I've not long had the IUD taken out. Boobs are so sore, I'm tired and getting twinges.

I need your help I've now tested 5 times (3 clear blue and 2 FRER and I know it's too early but I can't help it). I've now got one CB digital left and I'm trying not to use it.

Well I'm back again, v much enjoyed peeing on ovulation sticks all last week. Had sex on Weds and Fri, got a positive ovulation test on Friday so v hopeful this cycle.

If it's anything like the last pregnancy I'll just know within a week. Off on mini hols with 2 yo DS next week to stay in my dad's caravan by the sea and WILL NOT take any pee sticks with me. Determined not to waste any until AT LEAST 11 dpo.

And I'm only using the 3 for £1 cheapie strips from Savers this time.

Hello just joining this thread too as another obsessive poas-er. 10 dpo today and bfn, but SO many symptoms.

I've had 3 mcs and conceived first month trying for all. Now on treatment so kind of expected would also be first time, but my symptoms now could just be side effects of the medication so who knows.

AF isn't due til weds so there's still time, right?

From my 1 month of experience lol I can say DO NOT use your last CB digital. If anything use cheapo tests and if u get what u think is a positive then use the CB digital to confirm. But also remember the digital one isn't sensitive enough as the rest so I'd recommend using it maybe after the full 14dpo

@bunsofanarchy thank you, I didn't know about the ones from Savers so I'll try and find them. I paid more thinking I would get the more sensitive ones and stupidly thought, 'I can feel symptoms so must check'. If it's not happened this time round I will buy the amazon cheapies as between OPKs and pregnancy tests I've spent a fortune.

I will be surprised if I don't get a BFP this time, I've had restless legs at night (which I only get when pregnant), mild cramping, slightly biscuity cm (which, again, I always get when PG) and have just needed three wees in an hour. It sounds mad, and is way too early to test, but last time this all happened this early too, and the time before...

@mrsgembles hold tight. It might be your month. How many days dpo are you?
