Hi all,

So I am a newbie to this website! Smile

My husband and I are trying for our first baby! We are currently on our 2nd Cycle of trying (I sobbed when AF came to visit last) and I am now in that dreaded 2WW period. I have been having strange symptoms but I dunno if I am just symptom spotting because I'm waiting you know?? Hmm

Okay so some background:

I believe that I am about 3 or 4 DPO (Clue says 4 days and Ovia says 3.. although I've only just started Ovia and been using Clue for ages to track my cycle so Clue might be more correct?) The past couple of days I have been experiencing a load of cramping! It started at the top just under my chest and for the past couple of days its basically period pains without AF! I keep running to the bathroom to check if AF has come early as I know Im not due until about Saturday next week! I seem to be weeing a lot more and I haven't upped my drink intake! (Or I could just be paying more attention to these things.) I also seem to be yawning a lot and REALLY gassy.. not to mention I'm having issues with going to the loo.

I did a PT yesterday and not surprisingly it came back negative.. coz its far too early to test right?

My DH and I did the deed on day 1, day 4 and day 6 of my suspected ovulation period and then again the day after (which would have been 3 days ago. ) I just did a CM test and had a load of stringy (sorry tmi!) type mixed in with creamy white. Could that be my husbands left over? Dunno if it lasts that long?

I was diagnosed with IBS a while ago.. but I haven't had a flair up for months and have't changed my eating pattern.. so i doubt it could be that!

Sorry if I am coming across as stupid.. this is all so new to me.. and there is only so much Googling a person can do before they start to become slightly crazy! Also.. It would be lovely to speak to people who are in the same situation.. as TTC is not really something you can talk to friends and family about is it! Wink

Hi

So have to agree that norm is not always the way. Background I was in depo for 2.5 years and went straight into cerezette been on it for 8 months no period since cerezette no signs of fertility ect.
I had cramps 29th October and pink cm googled and came up with implantation not possible right felt sick dizzy heart rate was up. Did test 5 days after bfp was in stock can t be. Tested again bfn then spotted and 2 day bleed 2 weeks later was curious if I was even ovulating so brought tests and tested day after my bleeding (believe I had early miscarriage). 17th and 18th positive ovulation 21st started feeling dizzy cramping and localised cramping in left side more intense coming and going. Today no cramping feel sick. Dizzy. Tired. Reading it's not normal to even ovukate so soon after bleed but there are cases. Waiting to test ...Will update.

Just because it shouldn't be the norm doesn't mean it's not possible. I am 37 years old have 3 kids already and wasn't planning on a 4th. Feeling scared and confused as to what my body is doing right now .

Hi ladies

I am completely new to this and I read sooo many posts on here and you all seem supportive so I thought I’d make a thread of my own :-)

Background on me; I am 18 years old been with my OH just over a year. I was on the implant from May 2016 until I got it removed January this year (2018.) i then come off contraception until around May and went on the pill for a month. Since then, I haven’t been using contraception since me and my partner have started to talk about trying for our first baby.

I have tried doing things properly, I use the ‘Flo’ period tracking app to see when I’m ovulating (I have the normal 28 day cycle). Me and my partner are frequently sexually active and make sure we have intercourse more in the days coming up to my ovulation day. I know it hasn’t been long since we started trying (June 18’) but I can’t seem to get pregnant.

I was diagnosed with PID last year but me and my partner have both been treated from it. I know there is slight scarring on my Fallopian tubes because of this.

Does anyone have any advice to make me feel a bit better with the whole situation? Is there anything I can do to make myself more prone to falling pregnant?? Is the contraception still in my body?? Or have I just not waited long enough to fall pregnant??

I forgot to mention I am also type 1 diabetic which is not brilliantly controlled but under good management.

Thank you girlies I appreciate all the help you give xx
