Hi,

This is all very new to me so would like to make some TTC buddies :)

Let me tell you a little about myself:
Been with my SO for 2 years now and we're getting married in 31 days! I'm 26 (nearly 27) and my hubby2b is 35. We bought a house last year and feel like now is a good time to start a family!

This is my first cycle and I'm really excited but trying not to get my hopes up as seen that it's harder than it looks.

Any advice would be appreciated :) xxx

Congratulations Mrstobe! That's fantastic news :) hopefully it's a good omen for the rest of us!

I tried to be sensible and prioritise my smear but they didn't have any appointments before I go on holiday so I've gone for the waxing instead. Fun times!!
At least I'll be less of a Hairy Mary for DTD on holiday Blush - should be away for my fertile window so we could make a holiday baby, keeping my fingers crossed!

DH uses Q10 shave gel - not sure that will do much use though Grin

Just waiting for Af to read her ugly head. I will be missing this cycle with hubby being away so can try end of July. So hopefully that's our month. Will be on him every second day 😂😂 xx

Well I was pretty positive over the weekend and start of the week that I was preggers due to my very strange symptoms of feeling very full, lots of wind, bloating and funny side pains. Tomorrow AF is due and this morning I woke up with less of the above and have now developed a stonking headache that is usually a sign of AF arriving ☹️.
I was sure I would test tomorrow morning but now I'm a little scared to! If AF doesn't turn up tomorrow (fingers crossed), il do it Friday as I'm at a wedding at the weekend and if I don't get my bfp, il definitely be having a drink!!

Back after the AF witch has come and gone . Some dancing needs to be done! Wink

I am going to use OPK everyday for the next week now. Did a cheap one and it had a faint line, may switch to the clear blue ones, I feel I can trust them more. What do you think?

Interesting post about the supplements.....I have just been taking a multi vitamin and folic.

Have you avoided AF, MummyG, Dinosaur and Penguin?

Laughing so hard about the crying, Penguin 😂 hormones be crazy!

I am enjoying the clearblue ones, Missy but they are expensive and may not be any better than the others! Today I'll do both just for the crack as I already got up to wee before temping 😡

I'm feeling very optimistic this month...which isn't ideal as I dont want to get my hopes up 😕

This is so odd! Could you test again? If you look at countdown to pregnancy, which gives a breakdown of what percentage of people get negative tests at what stage, it does seem you can get late BFPs. I know it's unlikely but could be worth a shot? Hope either it's a surprise BFP or that AF comes to put you out of your misery!

missyem I have the Superdrug OPKs at the moment, they're on offer at the moment. More pricey than the sticks but cheaper than Clearblue!

Well I have news - my cervix has moved! It's now really high and I can't even reach to tell if it's open. No idea what it means but I did read it rises for ovulation. No CM though so probably not but I'm about to do an OPK anyway.

I've ordered a load of cheap OPK sticks and am just going to do two a day from now on as no idea when to even check so I may as well chance my arm.

Negative OPK and a load of school glue CM. however good that I've got some CM, at least I can stick that in Ovia and feel like I'm doing something!

I finished my pack of microgynon on 17 May, I had my usual weeks' break and 'period', was due to start next packet on 25 May but I didn't and have been off ever since.

Could I ovulate at any time? Desperately hoping I might have ovulated last weekend when I did have a small amount of EWCM but as it was 3 weeks since my last pill it felt like an odd time.

I'm probably clutching at straws Sad

That what I was on too and Iv been very lucky that every time I come off I go straight back into a 26 day cycle. I'm now on day 28 and I'm never late. Iv always found out I was pregnant the day my period was due so it's very strange. Hopefully you will be back into a normal cycle this one. Tracking it definitely helps xx
