First time TTC

Hi,

This is all very new to me so would like to make some TTC buddies :)

Let me tell you a little about myself:
Been with my SO for 2 years now and we're getting married in 31 days! I'm 26 (nearly 27) and my hubby2b is 35. We bought a house last year and feel like now is a good time to start a family!

This is my first cycle and I'm really excited but trying not to get my hopes up as seen that it's harder than it looks.

Any advice would be appreciated :) xxx

12dpo CD 25 AF due today, no sign. I only came off the pill April 29th so I don't know what's normal yet? No symptoms to shout about really. Confused.Com confused

I caved and did a blue dye test, negative. Do I do a pink dye test tomorrow if she still doesn't show. Don't want waste or do them too often.

hey just a quick question ladies... i thought my AF came yesterday but it was (TMI warning) brown coloured spotting which i didn't think a lot about. i put a cup in and went on my merry way, but after 2 days it's def not like a normal period for me - i have now stopped cramping altogether, no other period symptoms and there is only a tiny drop in my cup, not red blood as usual still brown. I have always had very heavy and painful AFs and am now a bit confused. Has anyone else had this? I feel like going back to GP but she was really dismissive last time i spoke to her and said my long cycles were just 'my' normal. Duno why I'm posting really I just need reassurance or something.

tea is it possibly implantation bleeding? Is it worth doing a test just to double check?

@holyschmoly I don't want to waste money on a test if it's going to turn into full AF soon. I suppose I should put myself out of my misery though.
I just have this fear in the back of my mind that I have hormone imbalance or pcos. My last 3 cycles has been a very long time (since February). Just feeling so down the eejit that i am lol.

Have they been consistently long or all over the place? Maybe wait and do one on Saturday morning, then you have the weekend to either celebrate or have a few drinks and a reset, depending on the results? It'll also give you another few days to see if AF arrives properly.

I'm not due to ovulate for another couple days, I don't think I've ever been as impatient for a weekend in my life!

They have always been long and irregular but was on BCP for years which stopped me thinking about it. Thanks, I think that's a good idea.

It's so hard when AF isn't here but you have a BFN. I am totally thrown now on what to think or when my next window will be.

BFN yesterday and today. According to Ovia AF was due yesterday.

Any advise? Freaking out here!

@missy Its hard but I imagine you're gonna have to wait a day or two. If AF doesn't show then do another test. Ha well you any symptoms? Got everything crossed for you!

Hi everyone! Can i please join this lovely thread? Me and my Husband to be (getting married in August) are TTC for the first time :-) I've been tracking my cycles on Glow and Ovia for a whole now and it looks as though I will be ovulating week commencing 17th July! Exciting!

Also quick question everyone!!!
So me and DH decided going back a week and a half ago to start TTC. My cycles are always predictable for me, however this month has been a weird one!
Now, what are the chances of ovulating later? Me and DH DTD on 28th of June, AF was due on the 4th of July! And yet no sign of the witch?! Usually I cramp about 1hr before coming on, i have had cramping on and off recently, which I thought would be AF showing her face, but nothing!!!!
Took a PRegnancy test, and negative.
Ummm puzzled!!!

Also, I was a little bit damp down there and inside (sorry tmi) yesterday, I'm so confused!!

Welcome @funnygirl What's the Glow app like? Feel like I'm collecting apps atm.. Got 4 but that's a new one. Is it good?

Well I'm not 100% sure this month when my fertility window was, as usually I get a day of EWCM which I know is my ovulation day, however this month, Iv had EWCM more than once and for a longer duration!

@char if you ov'd late it might still be a little early to test?

I have had more spotting today so maybe that's just how AF is going to b this month. It's weird and still brown and clumpy :( just to put you all off your tea lol

Assuming this is AF, would I count the first day of spotting as cd1? Can't wait for it to be over

Oh, I posted and it disappeared...
5 days until AF here. I don't feel even a tiny bit pregnant so I'll be surprised if I have a BFP this month.
tea I'm pretty sure spitting doesn't count as CD and it's from full flow onwards but I could be wrong.

So an update!
So last night and today Iv had a tender tummy and feeling queasy, i been putting it down to some anxiety I been feeling lately. However, just went to the loo and wiped and there was like a pinky red on the tissue, not a lot either, nothing was in my underwear! (Sorry tmi)
I guess it's now a case of seeing if AF properly shows her face or not!

I'm now 6dpo (calculated from an app). I've had sore nipples for the last 3 days. Thought I was too early for symptoms i assumed it was my mind playing tricks on me. But woken up this morning to very slight pains just like AF pains which i never get this far away from my the date AF is due. So fingers crossed!

Also after some advice on eating brie. Do you eat it whilst TTC? I ask as i have a wedding on 28th for which my meal choice is leek and brie pie. I can't change it now so unsure what to do. Also I'll know if I'm BFP by then hopefully. If I find I am, should i definitely not eat It? It's heated up so does that make a difference?

Clue app is calling this as my fertile period, but no ewcm yet. Based on Clue last month this appeared on the second last day of my fertile window last month. Is this normal?

I'm definitely overthinking and getting ahead of myself, as usual. I've just been looking at our local hospitals and trying to figure out which I'd be going to, the one in my NHS trust is slightly further away. Although we are very, very lucky in that both have really good birthing centres as part of their maternity units and are both less than 20 minutes away. But I probably should concentrate on making the baby before worrying about how I'm going to get it out!

Hi everyone, can I join?! Cycle 1 for me. Had peak smiley face Clearblue OPK yesterday which I thought was awfully considerate, so patting myself on the back for weekend ovulation 🤗. We've managed to DtD Fri, Sat, today and have plans for tomorrow (just need to let DH know 😂). So that sits me firmly in my first 2WW, which is already making me crazy!

Hoping some of that baby dust rubs off on me!

So i'm now 10 dpo and i can't wait any longer to take a test! Going to take it first thing in the morning. Boobs are killing me so here's hoping (fingers crossed)!
