Hey girlies, thought I'd make a new thread for us to continue on!!xx

Thanks ladies, Our plan is also to stop after my last packet then go from there. It was my fertility Dr (been a regular there that last two years - not for TTC) who said I should have a health check with the GP before TTC. Think I will try contacting the fertility Dr and speak with him - he has been amazing!

As for the animals, genuinely part of what I do for a living is fertility testing in dogs. They have ovulation testing for most fertile days - and it can be difficult for them to get pregnant too. They also very commonly self abort, and absorb puppies/kittens. So, not so easy for the animals either!!

Well I didn't know that about dogs! I had wondered afterwards like there was a big thing before about pandas, it was in the news when this panda got pregnant coz the species weren't reproducing enough and were going extinct... so I guess you're right!

Aw thanks misty 😘 although every time it comes round to dtd I always think awwww shall we bother with a condom 😂😂 this ttc is so hard! After MC I thought oh maybe I'm not ready, but it's constantly up and down at the moment!!

well I've failed miserably at dtd last 3 days! Hubster has been knackered from work and I'm shattered too coz my first week back after 6 weeks off but we are out tomoz with some other couples for food and drinks so hoping we will have some tipsy fun when we get home lol.xx

@Misty is it FW for you? Tbh i dont see the point of putting loads of pressure on to DTD allll the time in FW, sometimes (often!)life just gets in the way! Anyway, t'internet says to do it every 2 or 3 days, and dunno about you but my FW is only a few days anyway (less than an actual week Im sure), which would translate to DTD 2 or 3 times max if every other day.

I saw some annoying ad on telly this week for family planning clinics I think, anyway they rolled out this statistic that apparently only 45% of pgs are planned....How do the other 55% manage it!?!?!? Baffling...

I've seen that ad pibbee lol 🙈 it says something like withdrawal doesn't work etc and 55% of pg are accidental... like HOW?!? It is bonkers lol. Oh I know, I'm trying not to feel stressed about it and chill and focus on the outcome I want BUT I want to do it more lol.
I'm currently sat in the salon waiting to get my nails done. Love a bit of pampering :)

@Misty I never get my nails done, I want to but always forget/cba. My nails as a result always look a bit shit

Well we haven't DTD since Tues, as we've both been shattered! Sometimes life just gets too exhausting! Pretty sure ovulation is over anyway, but we will probably squeeze in another one this weekend anyway.
I feel really emotional today as people at work kept talking about people they know who are pregnant! So silly of me, as I'm only on cycle 3, but other people make it sound so bloody easy!

I've had white gellish with loose mermaid glitter on top!! It looks blue on the pic but is white in real life! I NEVER get my nails done, they grow so fast, long and strong but I have to keep them short coz I type and I can't stand the clicking 😂 last time I had them done was my wedding so most the time they look shit with me too lol.xx

Oh flat bless you, I know what it's like chick. My nail girl was talking about her own 7nontj baby and a mutual friend who's 14 weeks and I was chatting away with it. She didn't say "oh you're married, when are you having kids then?" Or anything like that, which was a nice change coz that's usually people's fave questions haha xx

Flat I'm right there with you, we've had a pregnancy announcement in work today so of course it was all everyone was talking about. I just tried to focus on how happy I'll be to be making that same announcement myself one day soon 🙏.

Good idea to focus on that @ttc. I've had a bad day at work and will have to work all weekend too, so in a grumpy mood any way. Love your nails @Misty. I've had the 'so it'll be babies next!' comment a lot recently too. I would never say that to someone, as I don't feel it's my place to make assumptions about people's life choices!

@TTc that's such a good idea, focus on your own announcement. Today at work I was talking to a colleague and mentioned I'm 28 next month and don't really mind, but I do want a baby by 30, he said to me "just get pregnant, it's easy" I honestly wanted to punch him. I don't know how I kept my cool. People are honestly so insensitive.

Jelly I can't believe people are that insensitive . I honestly don't think I would have been able to keep my cool in that situation, so kudos to you for doing so!

Weirdly no one at work has asked me about kids! (Which is a good thing). Well in January a colleague did drunkenly ask if I was pregnant (i was doing booze-free Jan) but nowt other than that!

How is everyone doing? I am on cd13 and so should be ov day soon I think. Not bothering with OPKs and omg I am sooooo much more chilled out!! Those things are the devil. I have been going back through old data on FF and I have a feeling i ovulated late last cycle, i wouldn't be surprised if that was caused by stressing out so much! I was such a mad stressball and me and DP were not getting on, because of it! All good now though :)

Hey girlies, I've found my opks! Haven't done any yet though. Dtd this morning, that's 3 times in clue FW but coz I haven't used opk, I don't know if I'm near or not. Also, I haven't "enjoyed" the dtd "fully" these 3 times if you know what I mean 😂 like it's been nice, but haven't quite got there. And I worry then like it sounds stupid but can you still get pg without the big O? I'm sure you can lol but I've heard that O helps suck the swimmers further up! But like surely, the design of everything down there is created so the swimmers reach far enough in, but I like to think I can help it along! And this week I haven't 😳

Hi @misty I think that theory is largely BS, but I also read something on another thread about some people busting out the vibrator afterwards (Romantic) so who knows if there is a grain of truth in it, but I don't think not doing will impede things happening....
