So in the absence of our lovely founder Hippy, I've set up thread #6 to help us keep up the motivation and PMA.

Congratulations to all our grads, the rest of us may be slacking behind but we'll be there soon!

Morning ladies :))
magpie I seem to recall a few grads got cm just before their bfps so this could be a good sign - lucky cycle 12 I have everything crossed for you Hun.
cakes hope your managing to get a few sneaky dtd's in your camping trip and of course hope your having a lovely relaxing time.
Xxx

Hippychic18 · 29/05/2017 07:48

clara what cycle day are you on? Xxx

Hippychic18 · 29/05/2017 07:49

archies still no symptoms here - how are you feeling? Xxx

ArchiesMamaBird · 29/05/2017 08:17

Hippy not a lot going on here either. Still got the pulling sensation in my lower stomach and a slight bit of backache. My CM went quite watery yesterday though which is normal for me just before AF. So I'm still convinced she'll be here Wednesday/Thursday 🙈

MissMagpie · 29/05/2017 09:34

Feeling very crampy today...again could be anything but not getting my hopes up. 11 dpo and I have an 11 or 12 day luteal phase. If she who cannot be named doesn't arrive then I will test when she is officially late. After last month's chemical, I don't want to test early.

MissMagpie · 29/05/2017 09:36

Lots of us getting to the critical time. Our cycles are quite in sync!

ArchiesMamaBird · 29/05/2017 09:40

We are aren't we Magpie, proper cycle buddies! I have everything crossed for us all xx

ArchiesMamaBird · 29/05/2017 15:26

So I can officially say that I've had every type of CM during this 2ww! It started off as EWCM, then went thick and creamy, then it was watery yesterday, and now it's completely dried up. So I can see why they say that you can't use CM as an indication of pregnancy 🙈

Hippychic18 · 29/05/2017 15:46

😂 archies ... I've written off all symptoms as I think they're all too close to af symptoms!!
Are you waiting it out this month or you gonna test?
My ic's have been quietly calling me all day on and off but I think 9dpo is still slightly too early and I can't bear bfns .... let alone a potential false one 😊
Xxx

ArchiesMamaBird · 29/05/2017 18:57

Hippy I'm going to wait it out. I'm adamant that she's on her way soon so there's no point wasting a test! My luteal phase has been shorter the last 2 months (used to be 14 days, but it's been 10/11 days lately) so I'm just hoping to make it to Weds because then I'll be 11dpo and I'll stop worrying about having a short LP. TBH Hippy I admire your willpower! If I had tests in the house I'd probably have POAS by now 🙈

Thank you for the welcome ladies and good luck to everyone nearing the end of tww! Hippy, I'm on cd4 now so getting my PMA back a bit.

Magpie, yes definitely been different for me this time around. I was lucky with Dd who arrived after 3 mo ttc when I was 38, ds took a year ttc when I was 41 with mmc on the way. Now it's two years and nothing bar a mc at 6 weeks in Dec. Trying to keep some hope, banish the what ifs and count my blessings..

notparticularlypatient · 29/05/2017 20:23

Hippy, archies and magpies, what a thriller we have going here! Fx for all of you.
Keep us updated on upcoming testing!

Clara welcome! Hope your stay here will be short, but great to have a new joiner! Your story is very encouraging. I will be 41 next month and have been ttc since September with a mmc in January, and nothing since. Had DD at 39, so really hope that I can replicate your success at 41:) But sorry to hear about your mmc and mc, it must have been hard. I really hope you will have a sticky bfp soon! Well, that goes for all of usSmile

I'm cd 7 today, so still a way to go before any action happens. But have dr appointment tomorrow, so curious of what will come out of that.

ArchiesMamaBird · 30/05/2017 09:04

So I had a crazy dream last night that I POAS and got a really strong positive. But it was this new thing from Clearblue where you inserted the stick into a laptop and it gave all this data. And apparently I was 9 weeks pregnant and having a boy Grin I woke u very confused, but I'm still convinced that AF will be here tomorrow #byebyePMA

Morning ladies
archies sounds like your dream was pretty real if you woke up all confused - fx you had a premonition :)). I can see why your preparing yourself though, I'm bracing myself too! Thanks ... I was very tempted to poas yesterday as I was home alone all day ... but then I'm so laid back about it this cycle obvs I care but I'm trying not to care too much if that makes sense :))

magpie good luck I'm thinking cuz of your cm blob that you'll get a bfp this cycle ... lucky cycle 12 come on 😊

clara yeah my Pma usually starts to come back around cd 4 as I bid farewell to af ... although last cycle I totally crashed and my Pma took a two week vacation 😊

patient good luck at the docs today

Xxxx

loababy · 30/05/2017 09:15

Trying to catch up after a weekend offline! Sounds like some good symptoms are lurking! Keep up that PMA ladies.

Welcome @Clara :) xx

ArchiesMamaBird · 30/05/2017 09:35

Hi Loa, still no sign of AF?

OP posts:
loababy · 30/05/2017 13:22

Nope nothing! Cd42...

ArchiesMamaBird · 30/05/2017 13:36

How strange Loa! Have you POAS again just in case? You always hear about these people who don't get a BFP until they're like 8 weeks gone. Are you having any AF/pg symptoms?

OP posts:
loababy · 30/05/2017 13:42

I know very weird! Haven't poas since Friday - I don't know whether it's a waste of money because I know that I'm not pg - at least my body certainly doesn't think so as I have no symptoms at all. Feel like I would on a normal mid cycle. I'm wondering whether to wait it out another couple of weeks then make a docs apt. I know when I've gone to the docs for more serious matters they couldn't care less so I'd rather save myself the embarrassment!

Hippychic18 · 30/05/2017 14:17

Hi loa I'd request a call back from the doctor and ask what they think ... at least they can't embarrass you over the phone and you never know they could surprise you and advise you to come in so they can test.
Totally your call though chic
Xxx

ArchiesMamaBird · 30/05/2017 14:41

Loa If you speak to your GP and mention that you're ttc and that's why you're concerned then they might be more helpful? I obviously don't know your GP, but mine have been really good since I've been having tests for ttc Smile

Super annoying though because you're just in limbo at the mo aren't you.

OP posts:
loababy · 30/05/2017 16:05

Thanks @hippy and @archies for the advice :) I always get a bit embarrassed going to the doctors and the limbo is making me feel worse. If I was going because I got a bfp obviously that would be different but this feels like I'm being dramatic! I'm actually willing her on today. It's my birthday Sunday and we are going on holiday for a week, it would be SO inconvenient if she rocks up while I'm trying to enjoy myself! :(

On another note, have any of you ladies been putting on weight while ttc? I put on weight so easily and while my focus has been away from losing weight and running which are my usual priorities, the anxiety of this whole process is making me overeat!

Clara101 · 30/05/2017 16:20

Good luck with the drs Loa and hope your dream comes true v soon Archie's.

Patient, glad my story encouraging. Hopefully your dc2 is waiting in the wings and ready to rock along when you're 41 like me! Were you ttc long with dc1?

I was q stressed at 40/41 ttc dc2. It was when I finally sorted out some stuff w DP, stepped away fm pressured job, gave up breastfeeding that I finally fell. Not sure whether some, all or none of those made the difference!

ArchiesMamaBird · 30/05/2017 16:47

Thanks Clara Smile

Loa I've put on half a stone since we got married last June. I had that whole mentality of "I'll be pregnant soon so it doesn't matter if I put on a bit of weight" Grin But tbh I've read that it's better to be slightly overweight than underweight when ttc (that's what I keep telling myself anyway!)

OP posts:
Hippychic18 · 31/05/2017 07:40

Morning ladies
clara I'm sure stress doesn't help - my dp is very stressed in his job and he struggles to relax. There must be something in the 'just relax and it will happen' statement that everyone keeps telling me :)

archies and loa I'm the same - put on a few lb's since ttc and it's a bit of both I've been less focused in the gym and part thinking 'oh well I'll be upduffed soon:)

Well 11 dpo here and feeling mardy and mildly crampy.... not testing though and not getting my hopes up

Xxx
