Does anyone else use there heart rate monitor on there Fitbit to monitor when they have ovulated? Saw a post on here recently where someone was but can't find it now. Been reading up on it thought it would be interesting to see how many of you guys did?

Just a quick check in to report that my HR went up from 64 at ovulation to 70 at around 7dpo and has stayed at 70 since. This is the highest it's been since I got my fitbit s couple months ago. Trying not to get my hopes too invested though.

juneybean · 26/08/2017 23:50

That sounds hopeful!!!

AlexsMum89 · 27/08/2017 10:23

Twice now my fitbit has gone up and then readjusted itself the next day. I clearly need to ignore the latest reading on it. Grr

juneybean · 27/08/2017 11:14

I would go with the end of day reading. I think it must work on an average so earlier readings have less data

AlexsMum89 · 28/08/2017 22:50

@juneybean yesterday it did actually go up! Am looking forward to seeing the chart tomorrow!

AlexsMum89 · 29/08/2017 11:05

My chart looks really exciting today! Here is last month's with ovulation in yellow and AF in red, and here is this month's with ovulation in yellow.
What do you guys think? (If anyone is still here)

Ooo that does look promising!

AlexsMum89 · 29/08/2017 14:04

I know, right?! I'm getting a bit overexcited now, probably just setting myself up for a fall

juneybean · 29/08/2017 16:54

Mine is just bobbing between 60 and 61 which is typical for this timr of my cycle :/

gerriberry · 30/08/2017 08:19

Just read about how Fitbit might show conception and found this thread!! This is my chart for the last month! Ovulated around 24th/25th which should lead to implanantation anytime from today/tomorrow onwards!! Just noticed my resting heart rate has been rising over the last few days!! Is it rising enough though? (Also exercised the last few days and haven't done that in a few weeks so could that explain the rise though I thought the more active you were the lower it was?) Thanks xxx

This is last months for comparison!
Alexsmum89 I seem to be following you round the threads 😊

Hi @gerriberry !!
I don't know what it means really to be honest. Yours looks like it usually goes up after ovulation - mine goes down!
Last month mine went down from ovulation until AF, this month it's gone down but started to go back up again which is giving me hope!
Resting heart rate does go down as your fitness level improves, but it takes time and regular exercise to do that, it doesn't happen immediately. It also depends on type of exercise, strenuous cardio like running will lower your resting heart rate, but it still takes time x

gerriberry · 30/08/2017 08:40

Thanks @Alexsmum89. It's definitely higher than it has ever been. I usually stay at about 66bpm. Last week it moved to 67bpm on the day I got my peak (peak was evening time) and then went back to 66bpm but for the last three days it's been rising by 1bpm/per day!! Probably grasping at straws but anything to give me a little hope!! Can't test until at least next Tuesday when I will be 11dpo. Xxx

I'll post an updated chart in a little bit, but it looks like the lovely hopeful climb mines took was due to a not so lovely stomach bug. AF has arrived this morning, completing the crappiness of the first day back from holiday.

juneybean · 30/08/2017 13:54

Ah that's shit @HolyShmoly sorry to hear it :( mines back down to 59 now :(

AlexsMum89 · 30/08/2017 14:33

Looks like my increase was an indicator!!!

gerriberry · 30/08/2017 14:52

@Alexsmum Congratulations!! I hope mine is too!! How much did yours increase by?

AlexsMum89 · 30/08/2017 14:56

Thank you @gerriberry ! It only increased by 2, but it looked quite obvious on the graph

gerriberry · 30/08/2017 15:00

My has increased by 2 at 5dpo. Just been to boots and got the frer tests as it's 3 for 2! Due af next Thursday/Friday depending on which app I use so am going to test from Monday (10dpo) as I won't be able to last any longer!!!

HolyShmoly · 30/08/2017 19:27

Geriberry, that looks really good!
Juney, when are you due your BFP?

Here's mine for last cycle and this one, featuring that mean, teasing spike which I think was down to a combination of more sugar than normal and an upset stomach.

I'm going to start temping this month so I'll be interested in seeing how they compare.

gerriberry · 30/08/2017 20:34

Thanks @Holyscmoly. Will see how it goes over the next few days! Ovia doesn't suggest testing until 12dpo but not sure I'll hold out until then!! Hope your bug clears up soon xx

AlexsMum89 · 30/08/2017 20:49

Fingers crossed for you ladies xxx

juneybean · 30/08/2017 21:05

Friday or Saturday holy not hopeful at all

IJustGotHitByADeer · 31/08/2017 17:24

I haven't read this whole thread yet but I will later with great interest. My Fitbit says my resting heart rate is much higher today but I only got it on Monday so that's not a lot of data to go on Grin came off the pill 3 months ago and haven't bled since so I guess I can't rule out that I could potentially have conceived, really hoping I have (or will soon)

gerriberry · 31/08/2017 21:48

Tell staying at 69bpm today so not dropping yet. 6dpo and have been feeling a bit bloated and nauseous today (though don't know if I'm imagining yet!) I can't really see any clear pattern over the last few months but temp does seem to be staying high since ovulation so hopefully it's a good sign!!
