Kiki18 · 17/03/2017 08:59

Kate I am so sorry that's awful news - thinking of you today, look after yourself xx

Hope you are looking after yourself too Nim and hope you get answers xx

DuRezidal · 17/03/2017 09:02

Oh @physicskate I am so very sorry to read your post. Please get yourself to EPU today, they will really look after you and are excellent.

How heavy is the bleed? I had a night of very heavy spotting which was just like my fist day of AF at 4 weeks but I think it was the pregnancy snuggling in. It was a lot more than I had in previous pregnancy though x

Footy1 · 17/03/2017 09:08

Nim, hope they get to the bottom of it. Could it be a cyst or something. Sure it's nothing to worry about. Is that why your hcg still high do u think?

Londonjam · 17/03/2017 11:00

kate I'm so so sorry.

You might not feel like it now but you will recover and try again and you will get your sticky BFP. Grieve and look after yourself now, but don't give up hope.

Cd1 cycle 23SadEnvyConfused

Londonjam · 17/03/2017 13:42

Hugs mimi so sorry this is taking so long

If it helps at all, I met with a lovely friend a few months ago who confided that it took her and her husband 23 cycles to conceive their first child. There was nothing medically wrong with them.

Take care.

Tee4me · 17/03/2017 13:57

Sorry Mim, let's be cycle buddies 😘 We'll crack it this month! x

Mimilicious013 · 17/03/2017 15:14

Thanks jam and tee.

It's really disheartening l must say. Let's hope this is the month tee. Fingers crossed. Some vodka and lemonade for tonight

Londonjam · 17/03/2017 15:55

A big hug from me. Enjoy your vodka. I'll also be enjoying a glass of wine later.

I had some good news earlier actually. DH got his third semen analysis back and the results are really good. 264m count, 77% motility and down to 96% abnormal forms. This brings him into normal morphology range - plus its a very high count and motility.

It means we are much more likely than I thought to conceive naturally. I literally feel like a tonne of bricks has been lifted off me.

Tee4me · 17/03/2017 16:11

Hey @Londonjam that's brilliant!! I have a really good feeling that it will happen naturally for you while you are waiting on ivf. My DH was so boosted after his results and he's really been putting the effort in since. Really hope this helps you both relax and just keep going with it! We are both still on our supplements. I think all these little things help.
I will definitely pursue ivf privately if I haven't fallen by the end of the year though. It might sound like I'm putting pressure on myself by imposing a timeline, but I think it's helping me relax knowing there is a plan B.
Where are you in your cycle at the moment? x

DuRezidal · 17/03/2017 16:16

@Londonjam I only know horse semen (i breed horses) but 70% motility is very good!

Londonjam · 17/03/2017 16:20

Hahaha durez :) yes it is very good, I'm so pleased.

tee I'm the same - back up IVF as plan B is not a bad idea at all. Might as well be saving for IVF fund in the background just in case.

I'm fertile this week :) Day 14 today and got all the usual signs. DH and me having lots of sex so hopefully some of his super swimmers will find their way.

Mimilicious013 · 17/03/2017 16:24

Ohh @jam, that is great news. Really hope that you manage to get upduffed soon hun.your oh must be feeling such a relief too.

It's great you have a plan B on stand by @tee. Hopefully we will all be feeling nausea soon and you don't have to go through it.

@foot, enjoy your weekend Wink.

Cheers girls Wine

Mimilicious013 · 17/03/2017 16:28

Hope you are okay @kate

Tee4me · 17/03/2017 16:45

Good luck catching the egg Jam! By the way, I still don't think there's harm in daily DTD, DH's count was really high and we had actually been naughty the day before because I got lots of ewcm (they tell you to abstain for 48 hours before don't they). I don't think there's any truth behind guys depleting their supplies by frequent release, I think it keeps it fresh and the more that makes it to the uterus the better surely? I know it didn't work for us last month but I'm still going to continue with this strategy if we can keep it up!

Tee4me · 17/03/2017 16:46

Cheers Mim, happy Friday** Wine

Mimilicious013 · 17/03/2017 16:57

Cheers hunWine.starting my drink early Grin

physicskate · 17/03/2017 16:58

Felt really faint and awful at work so I was sent home. Thought I was going to be sick in the middle of a lesson. Nauseous and still some diarrhea. Hot and pale. Such a kick in the teeth. It might be a bug on top of the chemical...?

Sounds like others are in the horrid throws of cd1.

That is good news jam. Has dh been doing anything different to improve his results?

DuRezidal · 18/03/2017 07:30

@physicskate are you still bleeding?

I still think it is worth you getting to your EPU.

physicskate · 18/03/2017 08:09

Still bleeding but light, like my normal period. I might (though the nearest one is quite far) if I still feel so ropey today...

Londonjam · 18/03/2017 09:29

Tee I emailed Serum IVF clinic in Athens the other day enquiring about treatment, and the woman who replied recommended that as DH has a high count, he should ejaculate every day to clear out old sperm and keep it fresh. So yes - no harm in DTD every day I reckon. My egg is due tomorrow so we will DTD today and tomorrow

Kate it could be the miscarriage alone making you feel so poorly Sad please rest up and look after yourself. My DH has been on Proxeed since November - it's a supplement designed to improve sperm and is the only one I've seen recommended with any authority. It was the only one out consultant mentioned last month too. I've also been trying to get him to drink less alcohol.

DuRezidal · 18/03/2017 12:33

So I've now worried myself, as it appears my HCG is not increasing as it should.

Last Saturday I tested with a CB Digi and it was 2-3 weeks. I had HCG bloods the Friday before which indicated 357 and then I had them retaken on the Sunday and they were 900ish.

So I took a CB Digi just now expecting 3+ and it's still 2-3 weeks!!! That means my HCG has not doubled as it should as the 3+ is for 2500 plus which it should easily have been by now.

physicskate · 18/03/2017 12:45

They say not to use them for dating purposes for this very reason... oh you must try not to get yourself worked up (but I know I too would feel angsty...).

Can they do another check of the bloods??
