Bliss I am so sorry to hear that, it must have all been so absolutely devastating. please take time to look after and be kind to yourself. This journey can be soo cruel we wait so long for a BFP even though from the begining we follow the rules and do everything right then when we finally get them its like we arent out of the woods yet. I really hope its not too long before yourself and Eva get your BFP again Flowers

Basset wow it looks like its having a positive effect so quickly already! brill news [smiles]

Just catching up after a busy few days... Kitty that's fantastic news, go girl. I'm going on holiday tomorrow morning for a week so hoping it will have the same effect on me.

Eva and Bliss, what can I say, so sorry to hear sad news from you both. Hope you are being looked after and taking the time you need. 💐

Basset so glad to hear of the turnaround in you since starting the thyroid medication. Keep on improving like that and you'll feel like a new woman!

Just finished my Clomid for this cycle, let FW begin in the next few days.

Well af arrived with a vengeance yesterday. 26 day cycle but omg the awful cramps I am currently getting I now wish my thyroid wasn't getting better haha!! This is what I thought my periods would have come back as post pill!!!

Good luck with fw baguette.

Well Bassett while you're not actively TTC it would be nice not to get such killer cramps. Hope you continue to improve dramatically.

DH has not been feeling well but said this morning he will be fine for later, he wants to give it a real go this FW. He was looking through ovia app before giving dates he's available for a work trip next month though goodness knows why he said he's not available certain days!
Anyway hope everyone is okay as can be, this TTC can be tough going and I swing between super positivity and it won't happen. Just so thought I could've had a baby by now. Or at least a bump! Last year I was thinking of the logistics of a big trip next month and now there's still no baby to plan around. But I will keep at it because what can you do?
Going to be positive as I'm off work, that is a bonus.

Kitty hope you're well and glowing!

Glad to hear the tablets are having such a positive effect already basset. It must be making such a different to your everyday life to be feeling so much better. Really sympathise with you on the cramps too, AF has arrived today and I am in agony.

Fingers crossed for your FW Baguette. Sounds like your DH is really getting involved and being supportive too 😊 I know what you mean about expecting a bump or a baby and thinking about logistics. We booked a holiday at the beginning of the year for September and in the back of my mind I did think I'd be pregnant by then. Now it's fast approaching with no hint of a BFP...

I guess it just goes to show you have to try to live as normally as possible when TTC and not organise your life around 'what ifs'!

Baguette thats good DH seems to be on board and even booking days in for fw haha. FX this is your time!

Basset aww thats rubbish about cramps geting worse but hopefully you wont have too many months of bad cramps!

Hope you get a holiday baby Beauty, it worked for Kitty!
So tired during FW but have managed every other day so that will have to do. Would like to try every day next month as I'm planning on one last mega try before moving on to IVF.

Hi all,

Wondered if I could join the thread- seems really supportive? I am so new to all this and have no clue what a lots of things such as CD means.

I am 26 and oh is 32. My last period started 27th June. We dtd using withdrawal method (arguably not really a method just a mood killer haha) on the 11th/12th of July. AF due 24th July. I have sore gums, and travel sickness type feeling on and off- highly doubt this means anything- but everything becomes a blimming symptom!

Since then we decided to ttc. No pressure but we are just seeing how things go.

Should I begin taking folic acid etc?

Anyway hope it's OK I join in Smile

Hi Sylv and welcome. This thread has gone a bit quiet but you might find it livens up again!

You should take folic acid for sure, it's recommended to take even before you start TTC so if you're already there go for it.
It's an exciting time (well it is at the start anyway!) so enjoy and see what happens. You might want to download a fertility app to track your cycle. Good luck.

Welcome sylv and yes taking the folic acid will give you a head start.
jene are you due to test soon? How are you feeling?
@kittykat73 how are you getting on? How many weeks are you now? Hope all is going well
@bassetmum looks like great improvements already there. Funny how fit bit picks things up - my HR increased in early pregnancy as they said it would. What's the latest?
@blissfulignorance how are yiu? Thinking of you.

After my mmc I had the MVA to take it out on 23rd June. But then complications revealed it wasn't all out after another scan and had to go back for the pill to get rid of "retained products". I was told to go a pregnancy test 3 weeks later and did one today and its still positive so I'm a little concerned. Might leave it another week ans take another test and then ring the Drs if still positive.
Hope everyone is well.

Welcome @Sylv2017 as the others said start taking folic acid yesterday!

@Eva30 I've been thinking of you too. I'm so sorry that you've had complications, it's so shitty without constant reminders.

I'm doing ok, I have good days and bad. It's seriously crap for me mostly. I took my last cheapies pg tests when the bleeding slowed down and they were so squinty so I assumed everything was done. I've not had spotting or any bleeding since. Still waiting for my first af to show. Tedious business.

Also had several baby bombs over the last 2 weeks. 😩🔫

Hey ladies!

sorry i Disappeared had a mental few weeks in work just felt like I was constantly working! Got a few days off now so catching up with my threads Smile

How is everyone getting on?

Baguette hope this is your month! when will you be testing?

Sylv Welcome hope you are well I would start taking folic acid as soon as you start TTC. CD means Cycle day so the first day of your period would be CD1.

Eva im so sorry to hear that your still having complications after everything you have been through. I think your right about leaving it a week then contacting your GP. Im doing good thanks 7 weeks and 3 days today. just taking it very easy with myself as I know its still very early days and anything can happen. Had to tell my ward sister as some patients in work were becoming quite aggressive so a few work colleagues and parents know. Feel like since this has been a year in the making im not letting myself relax until we are well over the 12 week mark.

Bliss hope everything is going ok with yourself too. Sorry to hear about the baby bombs Any idea when AF might show up for you or is it just wait and see .

No signs so far but I have been getting strange looks at work as I keep squeezing my boobs to see it the hurt yep Hmm

Eva sorry to hear about the added complications, as if the loss weren't bad enough. Thing of you, and you too Bliss. Baby bombs are hard.

Kitty glad you're feeling well, sounds like you had to tell work to keep yourself safe.

Welcome Murree, try to confine your boob squeezing to when you're alone 😉. Good luck for Tuesday.

This isn't my month, CD28 but have been spotting (my usual pattern, it's not implantation) but it means I'm upping the Clomid next cycle and it means I can drink at the baby naming ceremony for twins this weekend, I will need it!

Well it was a lovely family day for our friends and their beautiful babies but too many people asking when we're going to have children. I made sure I had a glass of wine at all times so no one would think I was pregnant though I might look it due to pre AF bloating. Had a little cry on the way home and on my sofa now with more 🍷.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend all.

Hi all, hope everyone is well. I'll refrain from moaning about being too busy with work, my work is seasonal so it's just the way it is! I work 7 days a week until the summer season is over, but come November I will be able to relax/hibernate!

Welcome Sylv and murree 👋 Good luck to you both.

So sorry to hear about your complications Eva, after all you've been through you really don't need that. Hope things are better for you soon.

Good to hear you're doing well Kitty. You're more than half way to the 12 week mark so you can soon relax a bit more and just enjoy it.

Sorry to hear you had a tough time with all of the questions Baguette. I use that same tactic of a glass of wine in hand myself sometimes to fend off questions! Hopefully neither of us will have to use it for much longer 😊

I'm in the TWW at the moment, but annoyed about the impending arrival of AF already. We've taken a very rare day off work and booked an overnight in a spa for our wedding anniversary in just over a week and typically AF is due that exact day. Why does it have to happen?!

I popped in to see if anyone had any updates but all quiet in here! 15 months after we started ttc I'm back on the pill to control my irregular bleeding but I had day 3-5 and day 20 bloods done first, have first infertility clinic appointment on the 19th September and we'll see where we go from there!

Eva30 · 15/09/2017 09:53

Hey pie I'm also back on the pill this month too. After mc in June I wasn't ready to try again so soon, plus we get married in April and have now booked our honeymoon so timing wise we are waiting til January to try again now.
Sorry to hear - but hopefully you will get the ball rolling now and things we get better

How is everyone else?
All the very best
