Haha loving the bogof comment baguette. I have told my mum, sister and a best friend. It did feel like a weight was lifted. Apart from now my mum keeps offering advice!!

Catra i can imagine it will take a while for it to sink in.

I'm sorry you had that response loxy. Did she give you a reason why she got so upset?

Eva i hole your sickness doesnt get too bad. Exciting for the early scan.

Panda you arent out till af shows her ugly head. Give it a few days and try again.

Bb did you test this morning?

Well i think I'm out even with af not due till Monday. The rage i felt this morning was absurd. My poor OH!! I then had a cry because I think its not worked again!!

bassetmum · 31/05/2017 10:26

Hi all! Not had a chance to post in the last few days. Work is crazy busy and PIL are visiting for a week at the moment as well. Been struggling to find any time for anything else!

Looks like I've missed 2 BFPs - congratulations Catra and Bliss!

Sounds like you both had nice weekends basset and Baguette, glad you've both been able to relax and have some fun.

Hoping for a good result for you from the Clomid Baguette.

Lol basset at your mum giving you advice! I hope it's nothing embarrassing!

Sorry it turned out that way for you Loxy, like basset I'm also wondering** if there is a reason your friend got so upset?

Nothing exciting going on for me from a TTC point of view. Unfortunately I didn't get a positive OPK at all this cycle so still not sure when ovulation was. DTD CD8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and then got really busy so hoping I didn't miss it if it was later. Now on CD21 so just waiting again!

Loxy4527 · 01/06/2017 09:48

Basset and Beauty she's very emotional as it is and has anxiety issues so at first she just thought it was a very very sad situation then she felt guilty that she'd not been there for me (even though it was my choice not to include her for this precise reason) then she was upset that she was upset and round and round it went. I love her dearly and I know she loves me too but that's not the kind of "support" I need.

Was at the docs today! Turns out I'm totally healthy, iron levels good, clotting good, no signs of inflammation or anything. He recommended continuing folic acid and stick to a healthy diet. If I have another MC I'm to go back obviously but for now there's no reason why the next time might work.

Fingers crossed!

Loxy4527 · 01/06/2017 09:50

*why the next time won't work

Bah

bassetmum · 01/06/2017 21:49

I can see why that wasn't helpful for you. Hopefully she is a better support moving forwards. That sounds both good and bad for you loxy. Good that nothing is wrong but not helpful as to why its been going wrong.

Wow beauty. That is some dtd!!

Cd25 for me and apart from the disgusting farts the only other symptom(?) I'm having is the odd bit of nausea and exhaustion but I've had this in previous cycles so not looking too much into it.

Found out when my sisters dating scan is. Feeling so much better about it now. Starting to get excited to be an auntie again. However my mum is constantly going on about going to the drs. I know its the next step but I know they wont do anything till cycle13/a year of trying as me and OH are still in our twenties (just haha)

OP posts:
JeNeBaguetteRien · 01/06/2017 22:06

Go Beauty, that's good going, glad the PILs arrived afterwards!

I'm glad you're excited about being an auntie Basset. Book the doctor when you are ready, though I'm sure your mum means well.

Well Loxy it's great you've got a clean bill of health, hoping you get a sticky BFP soon. Sorry your friend was so draining, it's all you need!

Not sure if Pie is still reading but have been thinking of you.

CD9 here, have DTD on days 4,6,7,8 (I did tell DH I wanted us to do it not just in FW and he has taken me at my word!) so hoping to keep up the pace over the next week. Well we have to really to give the Clomid a good chance!

KittyKat73 · 01/06/2017 22:14

Hey everyone!
first things first ... I GOT WAXED! no more hairiness haha!

had mental shifts and getting organized for holiday so not had alot of free time to go online! I go on holiday for 2 weeks on saturday so will be quiet from my end until im back. taking my clear blue ov. sticks with me but from what my last cycle was like i think i should ovulate the week I come back Grin

Massive congratulations to Bliss and Catra wonderful news!!
Basset fingers crossed those symptoms mean something positive but I know what you mean about trying not to look to much into it. we are the same it will be a year of trying at the end of June.
loxy Sorry to hear about your friend, she should really have focused on you and not herself! last thing you need. thats great news that the drs gave you good results, Did they give any reasons for the MC though? at least you know there's nothing more the dr can recommend you to do.
beauty haha thats a good effort for this month! hopefully you guys did it at the right time.
Baguette hope you enjoyed your lovely wine sounds like you deserve it after work.
Panda sorry to hear about your BFN Flowers your not out until AF arrives though! FX she stays away.

Will try and pop on tomorrow before I jet off but if not happy DTD ladies! hope to see more BFP when im back

JeNeBaguetteRien · 01/06/2017 22:36

Hi Kitty, rock that 👙 on holiday after your waxing. Enjoy and relax!

emanne · 01/06/2017 23:28

Hi everyone Smile
Hopefully I can join this thread!
Am on cycle day 26
4dpo (i think)
Have been ttc for a few months now x

Not having symptoms as such but more things I don't get before af is due... very very sore nipples dark round the edges, even the slightest movement hurts them!! Lower back pain, headaches, tired, even been yawning at my desk today!! Hmm not sure if just Ov pains still or very early af pains... help Sad xxx

beautyisfoundwithin · 03/06/2017 20:44

Thanks for the positive encouragement on my DTD achievements guys! 😂 Really pleased I joined the thread, never pictured myself sharing this information before!! We will see if it was at all successful...

Wahoo Kitty!! The wax came around and the holiday is here! Have a fantastic time 👙☀️

I understand Loxy - that sounds difficult, although you love her, as you say it's unfortunately not the kind of support you need. And it's a shame to share what's happened with someone only for their reaction to make you regret saying anything. It's great about the feedback from the doctor though! So you're back on it this cycle? Fx for you!

Lol sorry about your gassy issues basset!! Tbh I get I bit of a dodgy tummy during AF normally.

Sounds like a really good start for you Baguette, I'm totally with you about wanting to make sure DTD isn't just for the FW. Hope it carries on for you!

Welcome emanne 😊

bassetmum · 04/06/2017 17:50

Its amazing what we share with relative strangers beauty.

Sadly I think my symptoms are just usual pms as I have brown spotting, cramps and headache today 😞 cycle 11 on its way I think.

Wow baguette thats some dtd!!!

Hope you have a fantastic holiday kitty. Very jealous.

Hi emanne welcome to the thread.

OP posts:
JeNeBaguetteRien · 05/06/2017 13:14

I wrote a really long essay post on Friday and it disappeared!

Welcome Emanne feel free to jump in and ask all sorts of questions...

Hope it's not AF Basset but if it is take care of yourself.

My news is that I had a HSG and one tube was definitely clear and the other was inconclusive, which is on the one hand reassuring that one works but I like to know things so the mystery of one tube will bug me. Anyway have managed to DTD the day afterwards and the next day and FW is about now, not sure what to expect as it's the first cycle that I've taken Clomid. DH goes away for work later in the week so just going to keep at it until he goes and hope for the best.
I waver so much between being hopeful (discussing names) to thinking what if it doesn't happen. Trying to find a middle ground! Not easy.

bassetmum · 05/06/2017 14:07

It as/is af. The cramps have been unreal today. Could barely stand up straight this morning. Annoyingly though I am away Tuesday through Thursday with work and my other half is out every evening from Tuesday to Saturday so hopefully we can fit in some dtd at some point.

Well inconclusive isn't bad (well that's my positive spin on it!!). Well done for all that dtd. I know exactly how you feel baguette. I flit between it will happen when it does to its never going to happen. My OH is good at going it will happen. Im not entirely convinced though.

OP posts:
pandarific · 05/06/2017 18:39

Still no AF for me. Slightly soreish boobs and felt sick this am on the bus to work, but is probably nothing ala the 5 negative tests including clear blue digital. Because of the wretched pcos I have no idea how long my cycles are, and the last time it was six months before my period came back. Sad

Hoping it won't be as crap this time, but it's hard when a lack of a period is an obstruction! I should be trying to lose weight I know as this helps with the crappy skin and the facial hair (both currently bad) and I did do a fast day at the weekend and will get on the exercise bike when I get home.

I did order some eBay OPKs and 10 sensitivity pg tests on Friday - once I get them I'll take another test just to be really safe, but pretty sure I'm not.

pandarific · 05/06/2017 19:30

Er, not to panic or anything but I took another test just now and it took a long time for anything to come up (I peed on it rather than dipping so may have got it on the window itself). But now I can see two lines.

This is probably a test error, right? breathes

pandarific · 05/06/2017 19:45

That was a Superdrug cheapie, I'm drinking some water now and will retest in a while with one of the sensitive cheapie tests then.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 05/06/2017 20:14

Blimey Panda I think that's a BFP!! Maybe test in the morning with your concentrated wee but I think this is it!

Sorry Basset that AF got you and that she's being a total pain. My fella is the same, much more positive than me and rattles off the names of people we know who had IVF success, or friends who've had babies at an "advanced age". His friends from his uni days are so fertile it gives me such envy. You know the ones who get pregnant on maternity leave. And I try not to be like that but it's soooo hard. I'm good at congratulating them etc but it's tough.
Got asked in work today if I had kids by a newish colleague who had talked about her baby for 10 minutes. I said no, she said are you going to have any, and I said no again as I just wanted her to stop. Couldn't bring myself to say maybe. Inside I was saying I bloody well hope so! Sorry that turned into a bit of a moan. Take care Basset and take plenty of painkillers.

pandarific · 05/06/2017 20:29

Thanks JeNeBaguetteRien! I don't know what to think - I've just tested with a One Step 10mIU and that's negative, not a hint of a line, so maybe this one is an error? Or maybe my pee is too diluted.

Will retest in the morning. Will try not to get my hopes up too much.

bassetmum · 05/06/2017 20:45

Panda i would test with fmu. Fx for you though.

Ouch baguette. Its hard when people ask. I get it too I just say yeah at some point before I'm 35 (I am 28 at the moment!).

I have started to notice a theme with my periods some months I have really heavy flow with barely any cramps or like this month and others absolutely debilitating cramps with barely any blood. I'm wondering if its endometriosis or something. Does anyone else have any ideas??

OP posts:
Loxy4527 · 05/06/2017 21:02

Thanks for all the kind comments ladies!

Panda I really hope that is a positive for you though it's odd that it's blurry. There's definitely dye there but maybe it's flooded? I've never used one of those tests before so I'm not sure. Check again in the morning :) fingers crossed!

Okay so I have a confession to make. I was pretty sure that I ovulated on the 21st of may - used ov sticks. On the 24th me and DH enjoyed a rather passionate moment (I'm not going to say DTD because baby-making was the last thing on our minds) and I figured we were okay.

Well AF didn't show up yesterday. And I took a test this morning. And it was faintly positive.

Shock Shock Shock

HOWWWW??? I had one job this month! Don't get pregnant again! So many emotions - shocked that it happened, scared that another loss is just around the corner, confused that I don't 'feel' pregnant and way deep down a little bit of hope.

The current goal is to get past Thursday - that would put us in uncharted territory. Here we go again.

bassetmum · 05/06/2017 21:15

Oh loxy. I can imagine how you are feeling. I have everything quietly crossed for you that this is your time.

OP posts:
pandarific · 05/06/2017 21:21

Congratulations Loxy! Cake

Ah, rats - I bet you're right, I bet I've flooded it! Grr, should have peed in a container and dipped. Won't make that mistake again.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 05/06/2017 23:01

Sorry Panda I hadn't thought of the test possibly being flooded. Try to sleep and hope for good news from you in the morning.

Oh Loxy, I guess wait til Thursday, hope this is a determinedly stick little bean... Everything is crossed for you.

Have you had any gynae investigations Basset? I mean aside from TTC stuff, for your painful periods. It might be worth getting checked out as it's not nice to suffer so much pain. I'm sure you're tracking your cycles but if you also keep a record of these symptoms it might show a pattern. You could ask your GP for a gynae referral to (hopefully) rule out endometriosis and that could be the way to bring up the fact you've been TTC for a while.
I use a hot water bottle for the cramps but I know some people prefer ice packs - brrr!

Loxy4527 · 06/06/2017 06:31

Thank you, ladies. Coming here always puts my feelings back in check, especially as I know so many of you have waited so long to even get a positive. It's reminded me to be glad that always a chance that this really could be the one.

I know you all love a good line so here's mine from this morning. Looking pretty good on the FRER, used an IC yesterday and I never quite believe them.
