KittyKat- I get my period like clockwork and the months I've checked I've had my fertile days generally 5 days to a week after my period ends... Hmm

KittyKat73 · 12/02/2017 17:23

Zohz maybe try 2 or 3 months constant tracking so you know for definite when your peak days are although don't think they would vary too much for you since you and if still no BFP, make an appointment with your GP? at least you would be able to say you tracked prior to making the appointment.

I think GPs ask you to wait a year if there are no obvious issues before they do anything Hmm

I have also been recommended acupuncture on here which im definitely going to try you could maybe look into that too :)

Hope any of that information helps :)

Eva30 · 12/02/2017 18:08

Oh bloody hell pjs sounds like he is on one this weekend!! Can't believe the fuss he made over non alcoholic beer. Hope you sort it out soon.

Hi zohz I have similar stats but I'm 30. Some people just take longer than others. But as the others have said, after a year your GP should refer to for tests to check everything is ok.

basset that sounds so promising! When are you testing?

kitty when is your appointment?

mango everything in moderationGrin the bath and gin does sound so lovely though!!

Cd29 here and waiting for AF.

bassetmum · 12/02/2017 18:56

Don't know eva. Although I do think I am going to out though. I have had a headache today which is not dissimilar to my usual pms headache. It could just be dehydration as i havent drank a lot today

OP posts:
Pyjamas81 · 13/02/2017 07:33

Only able to catch up now as was exhausted after whole weekend of fighting! Long story short - we ended up having another blazing row but we did make up properly in the end. He apologised profusely, did end up seeing how unreasonable he was being and that they way he was behaving was hindering our chances rather than helping. In his mind - he was helping by going into problem solving mode, and he does realise that having an issue about the non-alcoholic beer was totally ridiculous. It totally was the helplessness and lack of control that he feels deep down.

Have to get up for work (bah - not like I feel totally rested!) so haven't been able to catch up with you lovely lot properly, but hope you're all doing ok! Sorry to hear about pms headache basset 🙁

bassetmum · 13/02/2017 09:49

Oh no pjs. Does sound like a rather unhelpful and restless weekend. Hopefully now you've cleared the air it will be better between you two.

No sign of af yet. In theory today should have been the day she was due but I ovulated later this month so I think she's due Wednesday. Feeling crampy today so we will see. My headache wasn't as bad as it normally is. Although definitely think I'm catching this cold going around.

OP posts:
Pyjamas81 · 13/02/2017 10:33

We've definitely cleared the air basset - I'm just exhausted!

Hopefully it isn't AF for you - this last few days limbo bit really is the absolute worst.

Am on CD5 - AF finished by Saturday and I've still resisted temping. Just hoping we can keep up the every other day dtd! I will not use opks this month!

Kaydee2017 · 13/02/2017 10:37

Glad you've got everything sorted pyjamas Smile

Fingers crossed for you basset Grinwhen will you test? Or are you holding out??

Hope AF has stayed away for you too Eva!!!

Pyjamas81 · 13/02/2017 13:13

Argh - stupid knobbing BFN Eva! How annoying!

Yep - make up dtd last night 😉 and we're going for it every other day. Technically it's a lot more dtd, but me and DH feeling less stressed about it than before!

Arual123 · 13/02/2017 15:26

Hi all,
My stats are:
Age 32
Ttc #1
Cycle 8
Cd 3

Just had a really weird 2 day period, never had such a short AF before so not sure what's going on. It came late, with nome of my usual symptoms and has now gone again. Hoping it's just a random cycle blip...

Kaydee2017 · 13/02/2017 16:11

Sorry about the BFN Eva! AF is a witch 😡

Good work on the DTD pyjamas!

Need to get back on it after AF this week & get back in the swing before FW next week! It'd be lovely if we didn't all have jobs & life to deal with & could DTD on tap at exactly the right time every month without a hint of tiredness & cant be arsedness, wouldn't it?! Hmm

florafoxtrot · 13/02/2017 16:23

Glad you got it sorted PJs. My hubby has been a bit the same tbh – trying to engineer our way to a baby by eating well, not drinking, relaxing etc. And I do agree with him but similarly we also need to live our lives and a lot of the time there is pretty sketchy evidence around effects on TTC – except for smoking – which neither of us do. I’ve seriously cut back on caffeine, he’s cut back on alcohol and along with no smoking, we eat well and we exercise and it seems like we just need to wait!

Welcome Arunal – I’m on Cycle 8 too.

Hope you’re OK Eva

florafoxtrot · 13/02/2017 16:25

Exactly Kaydee! Would be lovely to dedicate all day every day to TTC if you know we didn't have jobs to do, houses to clean, family to run around after, friends to keep amused, wine to drink.... Grin

Kaydee2017 · 13/02/2017 17:17

Ha flora I am currently drinking the aforementioned wine!! WineCD5 so not even feeling guilty about it Grin

Welcome Aural Smile

Pyjamas81 · 13/02/2017 21:24

Welcome arual 😊

It's the can't be arsedness that gets me the most kaydee. I really can't be arsed! Hope you're enjoying that 🍷! I'm done with drinking for this cycle so it's non-boozey beer for me until next AF/a baby arrives!

Yes - looks like DH has gone into that mode Flora. Today was his first full day without caffeine and he's struggling!

bassetmum · 14/02/2017 09:32

Definitely sounds like our OH's are struggling as much as we are.

Well the cramps have come back today but currently no af. Trying really hard not to keep knicker checking!! Luckily I am in a teleconference at 10 so that should distract me.

Any sign eva?

Hi aural!

Eva30 · 14/02/2017 09:37

Welcome arual
kaydee hope you enjoyed your guilt free wine Grin
Exactly what you said flora - general life gets in the way haha. Although since Jan 1st (New Years resolution) I joined slimming world and the gym and eating so much better and feel great for it. I'm down to 12st 4 now, aim to get down to 11st. I'm 5'8" so think that's my limit! I reckon the first thing they'll say to me about getting referred next month is I need to have a BMI below 26 so I got in there early to sort that out!!

Cd31 today. Temp dropped on Sat but then went back up again, I have no idea what's going on, just more waiting..

First time TTC - thread 6
Eva30 · 14/02/2017 09:39

Cross posted there basset I am so optimistic about yours!! Can't believe you haven't tested (from the poas addict over here)

bassetmum · 14/02/2017 12:00

Haha the reason i havent eva is I forget to use the fmu. Ooo could it be an implantation dip? Funny you should say about your weight. I am 5ft8 and 11stone 1 I think if I lost much more weight I'd look poorly.

OP posts:
Eva30 · 14/02/2017 13:07

basset I can but hope it is but unlikely, she said probably lurking round the corner.

Hey did anyone see that article about a Fitbit being able to tell you about your cycles from heart beats per minute? And it told a woman she was pregnant before she knew. Well last month and this month are so silimar for me - Bpm go up at the beginning of the month (around ov) and dip around mid month (af time). I've had a big dip in bpm today so maybe she's on her way. I found it very interesting. Attached my Bpm Fitbit charts.

Here's a link to another article about it. Anyone else have a Fitbit?
