kitty It's always a simultaneous relief and annoyance when you get normal test results back but something isn't normal! Silly bodies.. Hope that it's something easily fixable or that AF shows soon Smile

pj's hope you managed some super sexy snotty sex...

I'm trying and failing not to fall further into the symptom spotting but I've had twinges and pulling in my lower abdomen today too and my nipples are puffy Blush Just looking back through ovia, this is only the second month out of the last 5 where I've got to 7dpo with no spotting so that's something in itself! The first 3 months were much more normal, with spotting on 9dpo and period on 10dpo. Last 2 months I've started spotting within 4 days of ov! I should start spotting Tuesday or Wednesday latest so will know more then! Trying to hop off the crazy train 🚂 until then...

wishfulthinking21 · 20/02/2017 06:42

So don't think I'm ovulating this month. Using cb digital and had 7 days of flashy smiles but no static apparently to stop at 9 n wait till next cycle. This happened to anyone else?

Pyjamas81 · 20/02/2017 07:09

What CD are you on wishful? I had about 12 days of flashing smiley faces once! That was at the start of ttc though so think body was adjusting to coming off birth control.

Super snotty sex last night - the EOD strategy is on track!

Kaydee2017 · 20/02/2017 07:31

Fx for your test results kitty, hope they can come up with s plan going forward for you Smile

How are you doing pie?? What's your normal lp? Fx!!

Wishful, sorry if I've forgotten, but have you tried the internet cheapy OPKs? I think they are maybe a little easier to read?

LSFX pyjamas, & well done on maintaining EOD feeling so unwell!! Enjoy today's day off Wink

CD12 now & have DTD Saturday & yesterday - DH gets the day off today then back at it Tuesday Grin

wishfulthinking21 · 20/02/2017 07:41

I'm on CD21. Started testing early as my cycles have been all over the place since coming off my pill (ranging from 28-40 days). I tried the internet cheapies but couldn't read them at all 🙈 until I started ttc I had no idea there was only this wee teeny tiny window of chance

Kaydee2017 · 20/02/2017 07:47

Wishful I know what you mean! You're told your whole life it only takes once, and how careful you need to be, I'm categorically refuting this now!

RockieValentine · 20/02/2017 07:53

Hi Ladies can I join in.

I just had a miscarriage this weekend after getting pregnant on my first cycle. I was very early only 4 weeks 5 days. Still in shock really.
I really want to try again straight away. I'm not sure when I will ovulate next though 😌
My cycle is 36 days and going by last month and using opks I ovulated and concieved on CD20.
I'm so new at this and just trying to learn as I go. Has anyone any experience of trying again staright after a Mc?

Eva30 · 20/02/2017 10:33

wishful I would persevere with the ovulation testing for now - you might have a late ovulation. I know how annoying it is to not get a peak though!

Welcome rockie so sorry to hear about your mc. I haven't, but have seen on other posts that it's very much down to you when you decide you're ready to start trying again. There is no medical reason to not start trying again straight away. Take each day as it comes, and if you're not sure when you'll next ov, go with the trying every other day, until you work out your cycles again.

Hope everyone else is well and had a good weekend.
Cd3 here. GP appointment tonight which I'm already not looking forward to, I always feel stupid going there.

wishfulthinking21 · 20/02/2017 10:50

Aw ano Kaydee spent 31 years thinking that it could happen anytime and here it can't lol. Think I'll do that Eva. Will try another few days and see if I can hit a peak. Starting to get really frustrated with this whole ttc business 😢

bassetmum · 20/02/2017 11:29

Hi rockie. Im so sorry for your loss. I think the only reason they say to have a period before trying again is for dating purposes. So go for it is what I say.

Well me and OH have decided to do eod so started Saturday night so again today. At least the new undies turned up today so that should help. I'm trying to figure out whether to opk or not this month. Think I might try not doing them.

Wishful hmm unless you are ovulating really late this month? I had a late ovulation last month.

Pjs yay for the snotty sex Wink

Pie sorry cant help you not symptom spot but they sound promising to me!!!

Kitty and eva good luck with the drs.

wishfulthinking21 · 20/02/2017 11:59

Basset I reckon it could be that or just not ovulating at all. I'll try for another few days n see what kinda result I get. Doesn't help that cycles haven't been consistent

KittyKat73 · 20/02/2017 12:16

wishful I agree with Eva and would continue to check. lookin back on my periods im 100% sure i was ovulating at a totally different time to when i thought or assumed I would be.

pjs you are a trooper for super snotty sex! haha, I Was planning over the weekend to wear sexy undies as a treat but we were both totally exhausted! oh well maybe next weekend haha!.

Eva hope your gp appointment goes well :)

Welcome Rockie so sorry to hear about your loss, as Basset and Eva have said I think as long as you are sure you are ready to try again there should be no reason not too. Good luck hope it goes well for you :)

Basset if you are doing it EOD then you could always give yourself a break from OPK as they could be adding a bit of stress to it all.

kiwi17 · 20/02/2017 12:57

Well I managed 3 1/2 hours back at school this morning before coming home and throwing up :( ergh..duvet day for me. :(

florafoxtrot · 20/02/2017 13:19

Sorry to hear you're not well Kiwi. Hope that its just a bug and passes quickly.

Well done on EOD Basset - we tried it last month and due to delayed ovulation we kept it up for pretty much 3 weeks. Think hubby is still recovering!

Welcome Rockie, sorry about your MC, hopefully it won't be too long before you fall again.

Good luck at the Docs Eva and don't feel stupid, they are there to help you.

Reasonably confident that I ovulated yesterday as had a peak on CB Digital on Friday and quite a big temp raise this morning - although I do have a cold so hope that's not affected it too much... We DTD Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so couldn't really do much more. And now we just have to wait...

Piehunter · 20/02/2017 13:43

Welcome Rockie there's a ttc after miscarriage thread who might have some information on trying after a MC and what to expect cycle wise

kiwi stay in bed!! You poor thing

Good going Flora fx for you

wishful I have 28-30ish day cycles and ov day 18-22 so definitely worth keeping going.

kaydee I have a 10 day LP when it's behaving, with spotting day 9 usually. I've calmed right down today and I'm managing to keep away from the symptom spotting after yesterday's madness Shock

Blissfulignorance · 20/02/2017 16:58

Hello all

Lots to catch up on

Pie I always fail with symptom spotting but it sounds like you can't get away from them. I'd be tentatively hopeful but not too much as I convince myself that's bad luck to get your hopes up. My fingers are crossed for you

Rookie very sorry to hear about your mc 💐 I'm not sure how I'd react but I'd like to think I'd have a normal cycle before trying again so I know my dates better. Good luck for whenever you try again.

Pj hope you're feeling better, the primbe of limbe quotes have had me in stitches. I'm proud of your dtd efforts! Keep it up and good luck.

Kiwi sorry you're poorly, plenty of water and rest. Get better soon.

Flora try and enjoy your waiting.

Basset good luck with the EOD approach.

Hope the doctor appointments go well for you both Eva and kitty
*
Wishful* if I were you I'd keep testing, I have the cheapies this month.

So first time using opks, genuinely thought that I'd have ov'd by now cd 13, as my cycles tend to be shorter and that's what the apps keep telling me. However opks are totally neg. I'm ok with it and will keep testing until the lines match up. Got the docs myself on Wednesday, who knows if they'll take me seriously.

Apologies for the long post.

Kaydee2017 · 20/02/2017 17:04

Hi Rickie, welcome Smile so sorry to hear about your MC Flowers I second Eva, I think as soon as you feel ready to try again really, fx for you!

Hope your GP appointment gets you somewhere Eva!

LSFX basset, hope the new undies do the trick Wink

Aww kiwi! Sounds terrible! Everyone is ill at the moment Sad hope the duvet is doing the trick! Feel better soon

That sounds like excellently timed DTD Flora!! Fx!!!

Pie - when are you planning to test??

Kaydee2017 · 20/02/2017 17:04

*Rockie - stupid autocorrect!! Angry

florafoxtrot · 20/02/2017 18:35

wishful - meant to say earlier that I had a whole week of flashing smileys last month - took a total strop and stopped using them but kept temping and alas I just ovulated really late than month. Keep using them if you can and try not to get frustrated.

Eva30 · 20/02/2017 18:48

Thanks ladies - it went as well as it could!! Dr was amazing, he has started tests, I feel a huge relief as I really didn't want to pay £530 for tests. I will have day 21 bloods for the next 3 months and DH is having sperm analysis, then we will go from there. One thing he was really keen on is us giving up alcohol, I never thought it was so detrimental, but he said it's really damaging DH sperm and it messes around with my hormones. He said if it came to IVF they wouldn't do it if we drank at all. So we're going tee total Grin

kiwi hope you feel better soon, definitely deserve a duvet day!
blissful good luck with your docs on Weds

Pyjamas81 · 20/02/2017 19:41

So glad things are moving forward for you Eva!! What a relief for you 😃 That's interesting re: the drinking - I find it so frustrating that doctors don't give the same answer! Mine said drinking in moderation was fine. I've gone tee total for three weeks of cycle, and only a small treat for when AF arrives. I've really got my fingers crossed for you!

Are you doing a couple of tests a day blissful? The surge can be really quick.

Still pretty snotty over here but at least no dtd tonight! Annoyingly the rash I had around ov time last month is back - I really don't want this to be a monthly ov symptom!

Kaydee2017 · 20/02/2017 19:45

So pleased for you Eva, that's brilliant news! Even if you do have to go on & pay for other things, it's so good your GP is doing the initial ones for you - and if they show anything, there may be something the GP can do in the first instance Grin GL on the tee total too!!

Eva30 · 20/02/2017 19:57

Thanks kaydee and pjs - yeah totally pjs, that's why I'd never worried too much about it. I also think it must be partly their personal point of view too which they are telling us, not always evidence based.

wishfulthinking21 · 21/02/2017 09:10

Thanks flora. Flashy smiley this morning again. Will keep going till the weekend 👍🏻

kiwi17 · 21/02/2017 10:20

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Lying in bed with stomach cramps and feeling rubbish :( least I haven't been sick again. Quick question, yesterday and today I have had loads of ewcm (sorry tmi!) but got my smiley on Friday so i thought I was done for this month but I would be 4dpo now... Any ideas?? Thanks :)
