Hey ladies

even though im CD46 im excited because for the first time since november I have sore boobs! must have been all this boob talk cleanjeans haha. On my past cycles prior to AF disappearing for 3 months i always got sore boobs/ nipples around when i think i ovulated.

Only problem is im pretty sure there will be no DTD i have been working 12 hour nightshifts and partner is working long hours this week literally no energy or time we have 30mins crossover and that time is usually spent eating dinner and quick daily catch up but at least its a positive symptpm. but sods law guess where ill be in 2 weeks time for AF to show .... my bloody hot tub overnight stay!

Loxy and Basset hope AF stays away for you! Cleanjean sorry to hear your feeling low hope you get a better sleep tonight!. blanket I recently have had ALOT of people asking if me and my partner are planning to have kids ( no idea where this has come from wondering if i have TTC written on my forehead) hope your pregnant for your hens! jene your bank holiday plans sound lovely im spending my sunday at my partners football game ..... might sneak in gin.

PillowFort · 26/04/2017 21:28

Thank you JeNe - the plan-free weekend was good. Did you get up to anything in the end? All the best for your fertility consultation in May. Gin tasting sounds amazing – have a great time!

Glad to hear you had a good time away, Pie. I hope your appointments go well this week.

I hope your weekend of cleaning/tidying was productive basset. We have to set aside weekends like that too… Blush

The gym sounds like a good idea blanket. I also hope you have a bump/baby for those hen parties! You can’t plan your life around other people.

Loxy workplace pregnancy-pressure can be a real pain. I hope your bank holiday weekend gives you a good break from it all!

Glad to hear something’s changed Kitty! I hope you’re not waiting around too much longer.

I’ll be testing tomorrow morning - AF was due either yesterday or today and nothing! I’ve still been peeing more than usual and I’ve had a constant heavy feeling (where you’d normally feel a full bladder) for the last 3-4 days. Hoping AF isn’t just late because of a stressful month at work… Hmm

Fx to everyone and I hope the sore boobs are giving you all a break!!!

JeNeBaguetteRien · 26/04/2017 23:14

I will take a leaf out of Basset's book and blitz the house but going to be the weekend after bank holiday. I have acupuncture this weekend as well as my gin plans.

I got a promotion earlier in the year and my manager said "don't go getting pregnant now"!!!. I obviously did not say we were TTC. Everyday sexism is rife. It stung though as so many people in work have had babies in the last year, constantly having to congratulate people and watch them rubbing their bumps.

Pillow fingers crossed for your test tomorrow!

cleanjean · 27/04/2017 06:56

Kitty glad you've had a change at last, even though it's the dreaded sore boobs!

Pillow good luck today, let us know how you get on!

Jene congrats on the promotion! That's so bad of your boss! People don't even realise what they are saying is wrong.

Still sore boobs today, very fed up. Also have a sore bum now too as I went out for a cycle yesterday for the first time in a while, forgot you need to break in your bum again each time you've had a break from the bike. Wish I could just lie in bed all day and feel sorry for myself! Grin

PillowFort · 27/04/2017 08:18

Pregnancy test was negative this morning. Confused

I'm using the Clearblue easy tests (which make the blue cross), so I have one left. How long do I wait before trying again?

JeNeBaguetteRien · 27/04/2017 08:52

Oh sorry Pillow, I'd say Saturday to test again.

PillowFort · 27/04/2017 12:39

I've been feeling so weird that I've convinced myself I'm pregnant. My period is also usually the day after CD26/CD27 without fail and I'm now on CD29. What a strange month.

Thanks JeNe I'll leave it until the weekend and try to control my impatience!

I hope everyone is having a good Thursday.

Loxy4527 · 27/04/2017 17:55

Aw bad luck pillow see what the weekend brings x

Got uncomfortable cramps at the moment. I seem to remember having this for a couple days last month too. Got my tests now so I'm ready for next week. No temptation over the weekend as I'm not at home :)

PillowFort · 27/04/2017 20:42

Fx for you for next week, Loxy. Are you still waiting until 5th May before you test? I hope you have a good weekend away. Smile

I think I'm slowly joining the sore boobs club.

I hope your boobs and bum are feeling better JeNe. Grin Did you have a good bike ride at least?

beautyisfoundwithin · 27/04/2017 20:52

It is difficult isn't it in these situations? DH & I haven't told anyone we're TTC and I've found that now that we are, and it's not happened yet, that I find the comments a bit more difficult. We get a lot of "so when are you going to have a baby??" Or "don't you want kids??" etc and while we don't want to tell anyone, you almost feel like shouting that actually we are trying!!

I'm now on CD15, using OPKS this month for the first time. Did the first one today as per the instructions. Hopefully they will prove useful!

Sorry about the negative Pillow, fingers crossed for Sat.

Bad luck about the hot tub Kitty, just typical! Hopefully AF won't show up at all, either at hot tub time or otherwise.

blanketfort · 27/04/2017 21:02

Fingers crossed for Saturday pillow!! One of us forts need a bfp soon Wink

cleanjean · 27/04/2017 23:28

Pillow good luck for Saturday!

My boobs and bum are both still sore, but now enjoying having larger breasts (slightly) and have been checking myself out in the mirror each night lol! Just bought a nice dress today which makes the most of my cleavage. I'll get quite a shock on the 5th when they shrink back to normal and the dress looks rubbish lol!

The bike ride was great thanks, was nice to get into the forest (sort of, I was cycling adjacent to the forest) and out of the city for a bit. I may need to invest in a better bike seat though.

Loxy good luck next week, hopefully those cramps will turn out to be a good thing!!

PillowFort · 27/04/2017 23:50

Hope OPKs go well for you this month beauty. Keep us posted in how it's going!

Haha yes blanket! Fx for the forts.

Oops sorry clean, I got my names muddled in my post. That's what I get for trying to reply on my phone. Blush

Glad you're feeling confident, nothing like a new dress sometimes! The bike ride sounds lovely but yes maybe a better bike seat is needed for the sake of your bum!! Grin

cleanjean · 28/04/2017 06:56

Pillow lol that's okay, I figured it out.

Just realised that the 5th is next Friday, not next Wednesday, urgh!

Loxy4527 · 28/04/2017 07:45

Pillow that's when I should test but I can't say that my resolve won't crumble a couple days before, haha.

beauty you're absolutely right about comments once you're trying getting to you. I don't think I've ever asked anyone stuff like that but I definately would never now. My boss used to ask me all the time before we started TTC, any time I was a bit ill "You better not be pregnant!" But thankfully I think he's quietly realised that there's a good chance I'll try soon. Also we've finally hired another woman so he doesn't want to scare her off :P

JeNeBaguetteRien · 28/04/2017 19:31

Ha Pillow I wish I was as fit as Jean but my bike is in the shed gathering dust and I am in the pub after work!
CD7 so figure I can have a blow out tonight!
Happy bank holiday weekend all.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 28/04/2017 19:49

Loxy I've been asked many times why I don't have children. Also asked at work if I was pregnant no but I'm never wearing this dress again. I haven't asked these kind of questions but am fed up listening to them. I've had a few nicer ones about how I'd be a good mother but mostly just nosy ones wondering why I haven't had DC and if DH doesn't want them.

PillowFort · 29/04/2017 09:00

I took a First Response test yesterday thinking a switch to pink dye would help, but still negative. Still no AF but I felt awful yesterday, exhausted and nauseous all day. Going to wait until tomorrow or Monday now. If they keep coming back negative I may need to book a doctors appointment.

Loxy I know what you mean. I find it hardest when you get up in the morning because you don't want to waste the FMU. Glad your boss has stopped asking you as much.

JeNe I hope you had a good time at the pub. It sounds like your bike is leading a similar existence to mine. Grin

On the work front, our office often has ladies bringing in their DCs to visit during maternity leave. DH and I got married less than a year ago, so it's apparently my turn. I'm asked if I'm pregnant frequently and suspicion rises if I so much as turn down a cup of tea! It's crazy the pressure you can face at work.

I hope you all have an enjoyable, stress-free bank holiday weekend ahead of you! Smile

DancingUnicorn · 29/04/2017 09:46

Hi... I was hoping to (re)-join here. Joined in at the start of the year and was incredibly lucky to get a bfp just a few days later! And then felt incredibly guilty as I know how long some of you ladies have been waiting.

Anyway, I find myself starting again. Currently desperately waiting for my first af after my mc. Really want to get back on this! Having been very relaxed first time around I have now stocked up on a fancy thermometer and am totally trying to find meaning in 4 days of readings! and got a stash of opks at the ready.

bassetmum · 29/04/2017 10:06

Sorry to see you are back unicorn. Take all the time you need after your miscarriage.

Thats odd pillow. Has you af ever been this late before??

On the being asked about babies I get it all the time from family rather than work. How nuts is that. I cant remember the last time I rode a bike.

My main luteal symptom this month is absolutely horrendous gas. Some of the farts could kill someone.

OP posts:
Loxy4527 · 29/04/2017 10:21

pillow sorry for the negative :/ hope it becomes clear soon what's going on.

unicorn so sorry to hear about your mc :( fx you don't have to wait too long for AF xxx Flowers

basset your symptoms made me laugh XD

DancingUnicorn · 29/04/2017 10:28

Thanks basset. Sorry to see so many familiar names still here.

I tend to find acquaintances rather than friends asking when we're going to try. As if it's 'easy' small talk.

Do you know when you ovd pillow?

PillowFort · 29/04/2017 10:36

I'm so sorry to hear about the MC Unicorn. I hope AF doesn't keep you waiting long and you're feeling okay. Take as long as you need. Flowers

That sounds like a very antisocial symptom basset. Grin Fx for you for this month! We never really get asked by family, but a relative did buy us a Johnson's baby hamper for Christmas which was weird. Hmm And no, AF has never been this late before - it's very odd. Confused

I'm just going to try to relax and put it to the back of my mind this weekend. Easier said than done since I'm a worrier, but all I can really do is wait.

Any nice plans for the bank holiday weekend? Smile

PillowFort · 29/04/2017 10:39

Sorry Unicorn for some reason your latest post didn't show up until after I posted. Confused

Unfortunately I don't know when I ovulated because we're not tracking yet and I didn't really have any definitive symptoms this month. Not very helpful, I know! Grin

DancingUnicorn · 29/04/2017 10:42

Fx you just ovd later for some reason and there's a bfp waiting just around the corner!! My bfp before was 2 days after af due, and I know someone who didn't get a bfp until 9-10 days after af was due!
