Oops! Posted too soon (as if my last post wasn't long enough)...

Fx for your FW basset and good news about your OH!

I'll stop typing now. This is what happens when I try to play catch up. Blush

JeNeBaguetteRien · 22/04/2017 07:35

Morning all, AF has finally arrived after spotting for 3 days last week then stopping just to give (false) hope. I know she got a few of you, hope she stays away for some of us.
How frustrating Kitty, you did well to last until CD41, hoping AF stays away for good reason.

My DH also knows when AF is coming, I don't spare him the details. I also have bigger bras for the buildup as my boobs get so big but he's not allowed near them then as they are so tender.

Anyway another cycle begins here, don't know what else I can do this month but have fertility consultation so will focus on that. I'm not going to be one of those lucky ones who gets a BFP while waiting.
But I am going to treat myself this weekend and not wallow much.

Has anyone got anything nice planned? I might copy you (if it doesn't involve strenuous exercise 😉).
Enjoy your weekend all!

PillowFort · 22/04/2017 08:44

Sorry to hear about AF arriving JeNe. The stopping and starting must have been so frustrating. I hope all goes well with your fertility consultation, when is that? Smile

Definitely a good idea to treat yourself this weekend. Unfortunately I don't have much for you to copy - we're having a plan-free weekend for once. Hope you enjoy whatever you decide to do!

JeNeBaguetteRien · 22/04/2017 09:39

Fertility consultation on 12th May do will see what the plan is then.

I have a mooncup Loxy, it's the meluna brand, pretty handy for AF - prepare for TMI - if I also have IBS symptoms I give it a miss as I personally find it uncomfortable then.
I haven't tried using the mooncup after DTD yet (to trap the swimmers up there!) , I was going to but it seemed weird. Now however I'll try anything and my definition of weird has become more relaxed.

I'm putting a bottle of fizz in the fridge for later, I'm not celebrating AF coming but think I might as well drink it before I get a BFP and have to watch DH drink it all!

JeNeBaguetteRien · 22/04/2017 09:41

Posted too soon. Pillow enjoy your plan-free weekend (stupid phone changed that to pan-fried). Those kind of weekends can be the best.

Piehunter · 22/04/2017 10:40

kitty sorry it's another long month for you, hopefully it'll settle down soon..

pj's glad you had a relaxing time with no pressure, sounds like a very luxurious time away!

basset yay for DH instigating! Hopefully he'll be able to relax a bit more which will help you too.

Sorry AF got you baguette hope you can enjoy your weekend.

Had a lovely 2 nights away with DH, lots of time laid up with hot water bottle but we got to the beach and ate a lot of chips and just relaxed. Pelvic ultrasound this Thursday for the early spotting and pelvic pain and a referral to gynae made too this week as I've been struggling with increasing pelvic pain that's requiring more morphine again.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 22/04/2017 11:07

Pie glad you got to the beach in spite of your pain. Hope these upcoming appointments move things forward for you.

KittyKat73 · 22/04/2017 11:25

Thanks ladies, I must be the only person on MN willing AF to show up haha.

pie sorry to hear that your having issues with pelvic pain. Hope it settled soon and the ultrasound goes well.
Jene hope your appointment goes well , may as well have a few glasses of fizz. as you say when you get your BFP you wont be able to so enjoy it now
Pillow FX that AF stays away for you!
Loxy I was doing so well to stay until CD 50 but met up with a friend who has a 1 month old and thought .... its a sign! just do it.
clean thanks my cycles have been all over the place lol, my AF disappeared for 3 months at the start of the year so was hoping having a course of provera would have jump started my cycles to be a bit more normal

Hope you all have a lovely weekend im off to the shopping centre to get holiday treats!

bassetmum · 22/04/2017 12:08

Oh sorrry for the af jene. Enjoy the fizzy!! Sadly no plans here to copy either. Its a weekend of tidying and cleaning (we are both a bit lazy in that sense oops!!). But tonight I meeting up for dinner with some old colleagues which should be fun.

Sorry for the bfn kitty. Do you know when you ovulated?

Sounds like you are having fun pie.

Pillow fx its your month!!

Loxy woop for the positive opk!!

Well we managed to dtd a this morning too this time it finished with me instigating which has boosted my self esteem a wee bit. Only managed three dtd this week so far. Monday Thursday and today so might try tomorrow or monday as well.

Jene sorry to here AF has made an appearance. Enjoy the bubbly!

Kitty 3 months?! Shock I'd be going mental. Hopefully with a bit longer the provera will even things out a bit for you.

Fed up of painful breasts already. Have had to remove my bra (thankfully it's jumper weather here) as I could feel them aching constantly in it. If it wasn't for having the same thing last month, I'd be getting hopeful, but I think this is how my cycle is now. Sad think I'll book a doctors appointment soon, as I don't want to spend 2.5 weeks out of every 5 weeks with sore boobs.

cleanjean · 22/04/2017 16:45

Okay, boobs have never been this sore before, and they're way bigger than normal (can't complain about that side of it), if this is just AF I'm going to be raging! Exactly 2 weeks till AF should be due ShockSad trying not to get hopeful by telling myself outright that it's just AF.

beautyisfoundwithin · 23/04/2017 09:35

Sorry for the BFN kitty, those super long cycles must be driving you mad with all of the waiting.

clean I've been the same since I came off the pill, so I know what you mean. You start thinking surely boobs this sore can't just be normal AF?!! Fingers crossed for you that this time it turns out that it's actually not normal AF!

It's funny (actually not funny at all!!) how the symptom spotting can drive you a little crazy, it's like every tiny little thing has you completely convinced! I'm sure it's partly something to do with having it drilled into you that if you EVER have unprotected sex you will be pregnant IMMEDIATELY. Turns out that's not actually the case...

Hope you enjoyed the bubbly JeNe, at least a tiny bit of enjoyment out of a negative Smile

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

bassetmum · 23/04/2017 12:30

That's definitely it beauty. The look at a boy weird "bang" baby made. Its a joke. My boobs hurt like crazy and I have had to sleep in a bra it hurts that much when they are free.

Well I think i must have ovulated some point since I went to bed last night as my right ovary area feels bruised, im bloated like mad and got mild cramping.

OP posts:
KittyKat73 · 23/04/2017 17:49

Hey ladies

Basset no idea when i ovulated I bought the CB ovulation strips but decided against using them for this cycle since it was my first from provera and thought ill wait and see how long this cycle is first then start using them next cycle ...... HA. ill be blowing the bust off them!

CD43 and still nothing. We have an overnight stay booked may 11th that has a hot tub and bottle of bubbly so think ill wait until then before I test again. Would have been happy to give the hot tub and drink a miss if I was preggers but if not sod it im going to soak in it with the bottle. ( knowing my luck thats when AF will arrive!)

Hope your all having a lovely weekend. im still demolishing easter chocolate.

Clean I remember when i came off the pill at first my boobs were always really sensitive and sore roughly around ovulation but only lasted a few days. keep us up to date with how you are getting on :)

cleanjean · 23/04/2017 20:33

Beauty, Basset & Kitty glad I'm not the only one. Met three different friends at various points today and received six boob crushing hugs. Two were female and when the first one was hugging me the genuine thought went through my head that she being a woman should know I have sore boobs and how dare she give me a tight hug, hahaha. So I'm clearly going mad. She gave a really tight squeeze of a hug too which is usually nice but was agonising today. I just wanted to push her off me lol.

Must keep reminding myself - this happened last month too. I don't know whether I'll be gutted or relieved if AF comes. On one hand, no BFP, on the other, no sore boobs!

DH offered to massage them tonight, and got swiftly batted away. Like it's just a muscle issue he can magically cure. If sore boobs was just a muscle issue, I'd be off to a boob masseuse.

cleanjean · 23/04/2017 20:37

Basset hopefully this time is the one!

Kitty every time I stay in a hotel I get my AF, so I reckon she'll make an appearance for you right when you're about to get into the hot tub. She's cruel like that! Fingers crossed she hurrys up and comes along soon.

Loxy4527 · 25/04/2017 10:52

Hey ladies, nothing exciting happening here. I've given up on the symptom spotting this month, especially as the last TWW I had were I wasn't pregnant was February! I've completely forgotten what's normal, haha. I bought a giant pack of cheap preggo tests online the other day so I'll be armed come May 5th. Totally annoyed at how much money I spent on decent tests last month despite waiting ages. Hoping that if I'm curious I can just POAS and move on rather than spending hours wondering and worrying.

cleanjean · 25/04/2017 12:06

Loxy May 5th for you too, eh? Good luck!

Felt really quite depressed all day yesterday (which was purely just my hormones) and it didn't help that I got very little sleep due to my neighbours shop alarm going off at 3:15 in the morning (seems to be a noise it makes when they set the alarm leaving). Same thing happened last night, so I'm tired, grumpy and just not feeling great. I suppose it's getting me used to motherhood lol!

Boobs still sore of course, but now DH and I have figured we can still have hugs as long as my boobs don't touch his body lol.

A week and a day to go till AF or a test!

Loxy4527 · 25/04/2017 21:17

Thanks, clean, good luck to you too!

Reading back, totally agree about the being told over and over how easy it is to get pregnant. Really doesn't prepare you for the anxiety of trying and it not working out. Especially when you get folks telling you how it only took one try! Jokes on them, we've all had way more sex in our efforts to get preggo

bassetmum · 25/04/2017 22:16

Im due af on 8th may. We will see. How are you ladies doing who are at the end of their tww??

OP posts:
beautyisfoundwithin · 25/04/2017 22:21

GrinLoxy that last bit really made me laugh! I like it, makes me feel better!!

blanketfort · 26/04/2017 10:35

Hi all, sorry for the bfn's that have gone on :(

I'm coming up to fw and I'm going to use the opk's again I think as I never got my static last month 🙄

I've started back to the gym though, been back for 3 weeks in an effort to get fit and hope that makes a difference also told DH to calm the drinking down a bit (it's increased a lot recently)

Got two hen dos at the beginning of next year I'm invited to (Feb and march) and getting told 'you've been married a few years, you better not be pregnant for then' thanks guys! Bloody glad no one knows we are trying now bunch of knobs

Nice plans for the bank holiday?

cleanjean · 26/04/2017 11:10

I feel like I'm going mental between being convinced I'm not pregnant to mad symptom spotting. This last week before AF is gonna go so slowly.

Loxy lol! Well there is that silver lining I suppose.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 26/04/2017 13:58

Yes Loxy, all those sayings about how you have the most sex at the beginning of your relationship but we're turning that on its head. I was kind of hoping that I wouldn't need to go to the gym with all this bedroom action!
Blanket I hope you have a big humongous bump (or even a newborn and have to cancel going to the hens).
So fed up in work today, can't wait to finish and get home.
Going to make some plans for the bank holiday that involve a gin-tasting session. And a picnic if it's sunny.

Loxy4527 · 26/04/2017 15:40

Ugh, I'm dreading the inevitable questions as to when we're having kids now we've been married a year. Me and a male colleague both got married last year so there's been the odd "who's gonna have kids first!?!" He's dead set against it though so if he beats me I'll be gutted.

Glad we've got a bank holiday coming up, three days visiting an old friend who wouldn't in a million years entertain baby talk should be nice Grin
