I don't know when AF is due, i just counted 14days post-ovulation & added 2 days for luck for testing date... Can AF arrive quickly after ovulation? I have no idea about this stuff!
Google says implantation bleeding is normally around 10dpo so i assume the cramps for that would be around then too? Arrghhh so confusing Sad

MrsC2017 · 30/01/2017 16:00

red I get awful period pains they really are debilitating, neurofen plus is my friend for the first few days. I am 8dpo and have really sorw cramps today but they are definitely in my tummy and not my womb, so they are obviously gastro related, I have zero AF or pregnancy symptoms bar feeling emotional and unstable mood wise but that could be any day Grin Due AF Wednesday but with Oving so late I reckon it might be the weekend at least I hope so or else leutal phase very short!

Redpony1 · 30/01/2017 16:06

I just had to Google 'leutal phase' Blush I should have listened better at school Grin

I'm 55 days post-pill now.... feels a bit scary

MrsC2017 · 30/01/2017 16:13

red I think that's normal pp, frustrating though it nay be! Hopefully by next cycle you'll be like clockwork! I did not know what leutal phase was either until a few weeks ago! This ttc business is very technical!

Redpony1 · 30/01/2017 16:17

It's technical but i am finding it interesting MrsC, fingers crossed we get some more positive results in this thread in the next couple of months too!

buzzmoon · 30/01/2017 16:34

It is fascinating! I find it hilarious that I've spent the last however long trying to avoid getting pregnant and panicking when I miss a pill thinking that's it, when actually it's so bloody hard to get preggers!
Cant wait for the first bubba to arrive from this thread, hope holly keeps us updated! :)

HeyJupiter · 30/01/2017 17:36

Hi all, hope you've had a nice day,

So, I'm cycle day 7/8 and already have some EWCM and feeling quite frisky. Isn't all that a bit soon? I wouldn't expect to ovulate until day 13/14...Had negative OPK this morning (but it's the clearblue one so you always get a negative the first time.) Will re-try tomorrow. Maybe just a sign that oestrogen is picking up.

Maybe I'll ovulate really early this month!? We DTD yesterday anyway so at least that's covered the next day or so incase I do.

confusedat23 · 30/01/2017 18:46

Ooo EWCM is a good sign Jupiter i don't have any yet and currently CD12... although not expecting ov until CD14

Got a slightly darker OPK than usual though which is making me worry that tomorrow will be my peak day (making today my optimum fertile day) and not dtd tonight... I really just worry about everything but DH wants a day off so have to respect that!... tbh after the weekend im pretty much ruling myself out unless a miracle happens!

HeyJupiter · 30/01/2017 18:50

Do you normally get EWCM a few days before ovulation confused? If so then you might not peak until day after tomorrow or even after that? It's really hard as I want my DH to work to my schedule too but I'm not sure it's going to be that easy. Think I ovulated late last month and have feeling it's going to happen early this time so might start the DTD-a-thon tomorrow rather than Thursday.

confusedat23 · 30/01/2017 18:50

I mean really i just want some sperm in my womb! Lol... is that too much to ask Hmm

OP posts:
MrsC2017 · 30/01/2017 18:50

Ugh my stomach pains are now crampy womb pains which make me think AF will land right on time for 26 day cycle tomorrow, leaving me with a crappy and non pregnancy conducive 9 day luteal! Having an mini freak out even though I know I shouldn't!
jupiter ovulating that early isn't unheard of apparently!
confused fingers crossed u don't peak for another day!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/01/2017 19:11

Awful day at work had to deal with some tricky situations but did not cry and was super professional yay!

DH is working late so treating myself to a red wine and cuddles with DD.

Diet has not been virtuous but not that bad at all. Just eating what I feel like as doing so much yoga I feel like I'm constantly in a calorie deficit. Should have weighed in this morning but forgot. Will do tomorrow. I'm definitely slimmer, if not lighter.

Day 35 post pill.. no sign of AF. Another very faint line on OPK. High firm closed cervix. Nipples still sore but not as bad as they were.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/01/2017 19:12

Mrs sorry about the cramps do you think luteal phase could be variable anyway? Do you always ovulate the same day in your cycle?

DancingUnicorn · 30/01/2017 19:13

MrsC hopefully, if that is the case, it'll just be a one off. What bc were you on before? Is it just hormones normalising? Or maybe implantation bleed? Fx for you!

Confused hopefully next time the spermies will end up in there! Or you could just shove some up there... Blush

DancingUnicorn · 30/01/2017 19:16

Grumpy, well deserved wine after bad day! Well done for being super professional! :)

MrsC2017 · 30/01/2017 19:18

Haven't been on any BC for over a year(bar condoms) , have been pretty regular for a year or so! No sign of anything yet I just feel crampy anyway will try be positive... I ovd later than I think I do this cycle but first month OPKing so maybe I'm wrong, assumed AF would be late also! Anyway I won't dwell on it and nothing to be seen yet so hopefully I just being paranoid!
grumpy go you, sound like u got is all sussed! Jel of wine 🍷

DancingUnicorn · 30/01/2017 19:32

Yes mrsc hopefully either a second late surge, or cramps are not af related. Also I think I have noticed things much more this cycle. Don't normally feel cramps until af properly arrives, but feeling them for a few days now. Maybe it's just heightened sensitivity! 💐 either way for the wait!

I'm still cramping. I think trying to avoid testing tomorrow will be really tough!! But I know I should just wait! I'm so weak!

DancingUnicorn · 30/01/2017 19:33

On a weight note, I only gained half a pound during my week of excessive eating!! :D I'll take that! The diet really must begin now though!

MrsC2017 · 30/01/2017 19:52

I'll text Wednesday if no AF, will be technically late but only 10dpo! If u can hold til weds unicorn we can be test buddies!! When is AF due?

HeyJupiter · 30/01/2017 20:03

MrsC sorry that you're cramping! I get cramps up to 4-5 days before AF sometimes though so you may well have a few more days left... therefore making luteal phase more usual. Fingers crossed for Wednesday. And for unicorn too if you can hold off.

Grumpy well done for keeping it together at work, so hard not to sometimes. Oh and for all the yoga - that must be so good for your mental wellbeing amongst all this TCC stress. I might start doing some relaxation stuff.

Mummyme87 · 30/01/2017 20:19

I normally get horrendous pain when AF starts with a bit of back ache (when notnon the pill). Last cycle I needed pain killers during the night, this cycle no pain at all not a niggle!

Will try temping tomorrow if I can remember

buzzmoon · 30/01/2017 20:53

Grumpy well done for not crying!

buzzmoon · 30/01/2017 20:55

confused you could get a turkey baster Grin

MrsC2017 · 30/01/2017 21:00

buzz haha turkey baster, too funny!!
mummy good luck with temping
jupiter thanks for the wise words! You girls are all so supportive and this crazy girl appreciates it!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/01/2017 21:10

I'm very excited to think I might be pregnant by the time we go to visit DH's French family in April. Need to have an excuse for not drinking then! Also my 31st birthday around that time I wonder if it will be champagne or sparkling elderflower??!!

Off topic I remember they injected me in labour to induce placenta delivery - I had relatively fast labour and technically DD was pre term.. but all I have read on it doesn't say either of those reasons.. when I was giving birth they asked my consent and I was like yeah whatever go for it without knowing why they wanted to do it (in my birth plan I said I wanted natural 3rd stage). Any ideas mummy ?
I'm thinking i quite liked the injection (fast placenta delivery) but if I do a home birth can I still have it? Any reason not to have it?
