Theres is our motherhen, we are all just a bunch of crazy ladies either TTC or waiting to start!

This time is special for me and i need to understand its scary for DH too... maybe i wilk try dtd tomorrow as im worried incase Ov end up being a but earlier like CD14 which is weds...

Confused I totally get it.. when DH was pulling out I'd feel weirdly rejected somehow even though that was what we had agreed! So very understandable your reaction. Has he agreed to start TTC now then not waiting till April?

I'm a weepy emotional mess today with very sore nipples. Wtf, hoping not like this every cycle! I had forgotten what real PMT was like.. assuming that's it, but Ovia has got over excited now she has a negative OPK logged and now thinks I'm in fertile week! Who knows! I'm just crazy right now I hope I don't cry at work again tomorrow

I'm due to Ov on the 8th, first month doing OPK's and temping so hoping I'm gonna be able to pinpoint it properly this month. Last month was a bit of a fail!

I plan to not symptom spot in my tww aswell. Not sure about when to dtd though

Yeah Grumpy it was as an incentive to keep the diet and exercise going... but he said if i lose a stone and i went back with what if i do my hiit stuff and eat healthily every day (incl weekends) and he said yes... but in classic male style i don't think he was listening properly and so misunderstood... so after having explained myself a few times i was just very frustrated with the Still pulling out business lol

Grumpy hope AF comes soon! Then at least you know where you are and can start tracking properly. I had raging PMT when first came off pill but it did settle.

Confused I don't think it matters too much. The sperms come out of me no matter what position we do (so unsexy...) Think so long as the initial squirt (why is it so gross?!) is in there and your cervix is open in your fertile week the spermies get in the right place.

Feel like I'm experiencing my first tww this cycle as I know when ovulation was now. I didn't see what all the fuss was about before but can see how people get stressed with it now.

Hahaha Mummy I understand!... me and DH burn out after 3 days so i'm really stressing about the right time to BD too so his little man doesn't start to ache! (I've been informed that happens)

Weigh in this morning and lost another pound this week so 8lbs off so far. I feel much better but getting frustrated at the slowness of it all. Just a couple more days til were away for the wedding/ ski trip so I'm hoping I don't undo all the losses!

Don't worry, you're allowed to get upset, it's such an emotional time! lovely is so right, there's so much pressure on everyone. Maybe just sit there for a while after dtd to make sure the spermies get right up in there 😂

Wow you ladies have been chatty this weekend!

My work will be fine with me going off, however i will have to tell them sooner rather than later when it happens though as i will need 4 or 5 months to train my cover.... A lady in my team (HR) returned from mat leave last Sept then announced another pregnancy and is going back off in April, boss is happy for her.

grumpy my OPK's were paper white from Christmas until last week, then started weak then peaked and now back to paper white last night. You prob wont know whats normal for you until you've done them for a week or so?

Confused i think my DP gets confused over the whole thing too, when i was explaining OPK's & when we needed to DTD. He didn't understand that there is a small window in which you can get pregnant. He thought you could get pregnant any day between AF. He's totally bemused because of all those 'one night stand babies' that just happen on the fertile week haha! I know he is fully on board because this was all his idea, but doesn't make me any less nervous.

I peaked on OPK Weds night, i still don't know how to calc how man days post ovulation i am i am suck a dumbass when it comes to all this

I think you're supposed to temp all cycle to track differences. I know this sounds really stupid but I don't even think I'm doing it right.
I don't know how long to keep the thing in my mouth for- it just keeps going up and up 😂

Apparently for temping to work you have to not get up in the night and not move at all when you wake, and do it at the same time daily? So I can't temp, i get up too often in the night for a wee and i wake up startled everyday without fail when my alarm goes off so it doesn't wake DP Plus i get up different times Fri-Mon!

Does your thermometer not beep when it's ready?

Just read:

If you are using OPk's the easiest way is to figure you USUALLY ovulate the day AFTER the positive Opk, then the day after that would be 1DPO. So say you get a positive opk on the 12th, you ovulate on the 13th and then the 14th would be 1DPO

so that would make me 4DPO... Only another 10 to go haha

red I sound like a right idiot don't I! Well it beeps to begin with, which I thought I let it beep then put it in. But maybe I put it in, let it beep and then it's ready? I'll re-read the instructions! 😂 I've been able to do it roughly at the same time, although I get up in the night for a wee- I've done it after approx 4 hours of straight sleep which I think is okay. Gonna give it a go for a while and see if I notice a pattern

Oooh red I'm 3dpo not sure I'm going to be testing tho unless af is actually late. I couldn't bear it if it came up faintly or I had a chemical or something. I'd rather just wait I think!

Buzz I turn mine on and put it in before it beeps, then wait 30 secs or so and it beeps when it's reached a stable temp

seven I have no idea when AF would be due, so i am going to test on 11th Feb, which should be 16dpo if i haven't started AF by then. I'm pretty damn good at being patient with everything so i can't see an issue with me wanting to POAS too early! (famous last words?!)

grumpy we DTD plenty leading up to & in fertile week I have had cramps all weekend though so i expect AF is on its way? Glad you are feeling good!

Whilst i think about it, is anyone else a pansy with pain?! I have such a low pain threshold... I never ever had cramps before i started birth control all those years ago, so suffering with them post-pill has been a shock. I just cannot cope with them! I was nearly in tears on Saturday from them even though i know they weren't that bad. How am i going to cope with labour?!

Red it's pretty early for you to have pre AF cramps though if you are due on the 11th?! I have only ever had cramps less than 12 hours before AF started. Could it be implantation?
