Hi everyone,
Thought I'd kick of the Feb bus.
I'm ttc #3 and it isn't easy this time.......
I'm planning on giving Feb all I've got - who's with me??!

Yep another one symptom spotting!
So far I've had bloating 8-10dpo, was really bad on 10dpo and my tummy looked just like bubblegums had eaten a big roast that day so expect that made it worse!
11dpo, fatigue
12dpo, irritable, but that could equally be due to a mega misunderstanding that MIL has caused that I'm having to sort out
Bit of boob pain just in the left side following ovulation but that's stopped now.
Basically, nothing that i don't usually get before period!

It's so annoying blue isn't it. If I wasn't ttc I bet I wouldn't think anything at all 😂 I've decided that if I'm bfn on Saturday then I'm going to do one more month of strategic bd'ing with opk and cycle tracking etc and if it doesn't work Feb, I'm gonna look ahead and make a general note of my fw then just delete everything and have one cycle of just dtd whenever I want lol.
I came off the pill end of Aug and first 2 months I didn't have a clue about tracking or testing or anything and we just had loads of fun dtd all over the place (we were not actively ttc at the time coz I'd just come off the pill and just thought if it happens it happens) but I'm getting a bit obsessed now which I'm sure isn't helping 😳
So one more month trying to do it the "logical" way and then I'm going in blind lol. But if by March/April nothing has happened, I may book a docs appt. I'm 32 and hubs 36, he has one child from previous but that was 14 years ago, and I've never had any form of pregnancy before so it's scary to think what if it doesn't happen 😑xx

Ah, symptom spotting. I'm now cd50, no sign of AF and I have painful boobs, sensitive nipples, bloating, gas, nausea, occasional blurred vision, dizziness, headache. Hungry constantly, weeing constantly. Occasional diarrhoea. Beyond tired, although full of cold (shared by my lovely kids!) FX everyone.

Well I've woken up this morning and I feel fine :/ no nausea, no headsches, no cramping, nothing. My boobs are the tiniest bit tender but that's it. By now I'd normally have very sore boobs. My cm is still thin and milky and hasn't gone to my usual thick type yet. Other than that, it's as if I'm not a mere week away from af. I definitely think I'm out this month now. If I was pregnant, I'd be getting more symptoms, not less :(

Dtd last night after very positive ov test. Am I best having a ride tonight too? Done an ov test this morning and it's still strong but fainter than yesterday...

Thoughts?

I think everyone worries about that Misty , I certainly did before conceiving DD. You're still a young woman and chances are you'll be fine

I would Bollocks A positive test can be anything up to 3 days pre-ovulation so best to get some sperm there waiting.

Thank you oyster, it's just something you assume will happen and I spent my whole 20s trying to avoid it! One of my besties is pg right now after a 1night stand 🙈 and one of my other besties is on the waiting list for ivf 😔 both the same age as me! It's just scary when you don't know how it will go but gonna stay positive, only been ttc properly since Nov! So got to chill and enjoy but easier said than done lol.

symptom spotter over here too! Currently 9DPO and due AF Monday! Slight cramps for the past week which I don't know is usual for me I haven't noticed before. Bloating is unreal, more toilet trips (although I am drinking 2.5 litres of water a day) boobs seem different but I did have tubular breasts so not sure if there's any breast tissue in there.

Unsure whether to test tomorrow @ 10DPO with internet cheapies or just wait for dreaded AF!

I'm not feeling too hopeful tho

Mothing all! I feel nauseous today which I am obvs taking as a symptom but is most likely pre Af hormones. Misty I know how you feel - I was 31 when I had Cd1 and it took 4 months - I was about to go to the docs! 32 is still young though so you might not get much help unless you say you've been trying for longer. I think they want you to try for a year.....
I'm 38 in march and psychologically would like to be pg with dc3 by then. I know plenty of people get pg older than that so that gives me hope but I've been trying for 6 months now so it's frustrating.

If it hasn't happened by my bday I'm going to book a big holiday I think! !

Ohb0llocks I would DD again tonight as it looks like could be ovulating today. My ovulation tests are proving interesting, I was getting strong lines although never a positive as I missed testing one morning and figured that I had just missed my positive on that day as they then started fading only to have got a strong line again this morning! More DTD for me tonight! Forgot how all consuming TTC is!

gruggalohoh.. how early are you using your OPKs? Best time to test is afternoon as LH is always in your urine and will be more concentrated of a morning.

I'll get at it tonight and possibly tomorrow then as he's not home on Friday night!

Zeb don't test!! I got bfn on cheapies Sunday 5 days before af is even due and I was gutted but gonna test again sat if af doesn't arrive before then!
Unicorn my mum had me (dd 3!) naturally at 40, my sis had ds1 naturally at 39 (after 3 Mc) my other sis had ds1 naturally at 38 so don't lose hope. I keep telling myself late babies are in my genes but it doesn't stop me worrying 😳 my bestie who's having ivf went to docs and added a year to her trying time and is glad she did rather than waiting coz her hub has low swimmers so can't get pg naturally, so if I go to docs, I will fib a bit if I have to 🙈 awful to say I know.
Af due any time from tomoz to Sunday according to different apps so still holding out hope!x

Four days to go until af due...so tempted to test! The suspense is killing me, trying not to think about but it's proving tricky!!! 😬

ZEB91 that is really useful to know, I am TTC#3 having used ovulation test sticks for all of them and didn't know that, thank you for the tip. Will test again in a minute and see what it says. Seems I have been getting it wrong all this time!

For others TTC#3, how old is your oldest? I am worrying about the gap which while not massive is probably more than I would have liked?

My dd1 is 6 and dd2 is 4 so there will be a sizeable gap if this ever happens. I think they would really be helpful though..... she says hopefully! !

Oh that's a lovely gap! My sisters were 14 and 18... they were very helpful lol but they both moved out when I was very young so grew up like an only child really although we are incredibly close and always have been. My eldest used to get dirty looks back in the 80s with her dyed pink fringe walking round pushing me in my pram lol she used to shout out "it's my sister!" Even now we joke about a Kat slater storyline 😂 I was spoiled rotten though. I'm sure yours would be the perfect age :)
No more symptoms for me today ladies, just rolling on Saturday for the final test if af doesn't arrive tomorrow! Gosh all this waiting around with babymaking is hard going!!

Ha misty. I was the same. My brother was born when I was 15, sister 13. I used to take him out all the time. Even on the bus into town. All the grannies thought he was mine! We are still really close now. Unlike my sister and I.

Oh don't get me wrong, me and my eldest sis are so alike we regularly clash considering our massive age gap, I feel like I'm her temper reproduced 😂😂 sisters can be brutal. The middle one with me is literally an angel and we both adore her and never fight with her but tear shreds out of eachother on occasion (not physically!) but I do love a good age gap! Only thing about being a later baby is watching my parents age. I'm 32 and my parents are 71 and 72 and are ok (I keep them young I reckon!) but I can see their age creeping up on them and I'm sick to my stomach that I will have them a less time than my sisters. I'm nowhere near ready to be without them, they're my world and I desperately want to give them another grandchild, nothing would make them happier than to see all their 3 girls as mums... may I add, they still see me as their baby lol so I may be embellishing that statement, I'm pretty sure even at my age they still think I'm too young haha but maybe they mean my mentality, still 19 in my mind lol 😜

Oh hhaz, gutted for you chick 😖 some things you just wish didn't arrive on time, or at all 🙈 but get this few days out the way and start again on the fun bus 🙌🏼x

I've just finished AF and due to ovulate in about 5-7 days, I usually get a positive OPK on the Monday of my FW.

DH has his sperm analysis test this upcoming Tuesday and can't have sex for 48 hours before! So we're planning to try on Saturday, Sunday AM, and then Tuesday PM (about 8 hours after his 'sample') and then everyday after. Figures that this would fall bang smack on my FW

Feeling a little more positive this month, ttc is such a rollercoaster. Especially as this is cycle 9 for us now.

gruffalohoh We are trying for my third (DH's 1st) and my boy is 11 and my girl is 6 and a half. Pretty big gap but I am hoping they will enjoy helping

Stupidly took a text this morning even though I shouldn't be testing til Sunday and bfn
However, I do have some unusual symptoms. I have the usual sore boobs like I do every month but this month I've had shooting pains in one of them. Also I'm ravenous, SO thirsty and extremely dizzy which was my first symptom in both my other pregnancies.
Surely it would be too early though?
