Macs - Sorry to hear about your brother, nothing serious I hope? Stress will delay ovulation unfortunately but luckily DTD is a really good natural stress reducer so keep at it.
Flash - I don't want to worry you but I think you have enough evidence to go to your GP. A "rush" of blood after sex doesn't sound quite right to me, even if it is in your luteal phase. It could be endometriosis as that causes bleeding after sex, also (TMI!) rectal bleeding when you pass stools if you have that but I don't blame you if you don't want to divulge that kind of information on here. You are clearly worrying about it though, so go get checked out for your peace of mind. Also, introduce yourself slowly to the supplements. Start on the multi vitamin and then if that goes well, add the lower dose of the omega capsule and you can increase it later if you feel like you want to. Don't take everything all at once like me who then had to deal with a painful acne breakout.
Pyjamas - You are truly an inspiration with your fuck it days, I hope you enjoy it. The whole of December was a fuck it day for me but once I'm back to my disciplined ways, I'm going to do this too.
Kwick - Lovely shed, 10/10 as far as sheds go. Though truly, I can't wait for you to send me some healthy, organic green veg - you'll save me so much money.
Hep - I hate smears! Isn't it funny how we have to plan all this stuff in and around our potential pregnancies? Your disclaimer about not being a Doctor did make me chuckle, good advice though.
Welcome Sam, Poppet and welcome back Charley.
Sorry to anyone I missed!
Well I had an ultrasound at the hospital but it was difficult for them to see because any water I've been drinking has been going straight through me. It did look like I'd ovulated though but its rare for them to be that painful. The Doctor said that if my fallopian tubes are a little bit gunged up then when the cyst ruptures or a large follicle ovulates, all that matter has to squeeze past adhesions in my tubes causing friction. He asked about my lifestyle and whether I'd tried anything differently whilst TTC and I said about my new diet, the Yoga and supplements and he said that perhaps the matter in my tubes is loose or breaking apart because of that hard work. No pain, no gain and all that.
He also said that the HSG will be very good for me, should clear up the tubes massively but he told me quite seriously that it will probably really, really hurt especially after two potential cyst ruptures and whatever else is going on inside of me.
Was nice to read all your messages on the taxi home, thank you - don't know what I'd do without you all xx
