Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Hello AF! Really glad it's here at last! New bus ticket for 8 Feb please!

Can you put me down for 14th please jam? Will be CD34, no idea how long my cycles will be, but I have to have a filling on 16th, so figure that's a good a time as any to check - if I get that far!

That is excellent PMA Alexia, good work! And your comment about your FRER did make me smile - I put mine in the bin and then took the bag out to our communal bins in my pjs so I wouldn't be tempted to keep looking at it 'just in case'.

Good luck in the TWW Miranda and sk1pper. I'm very impressed with your text book DTD sk1pper, hopefully it pays off for you this month.

I haven't noticed any real change in a frer I did this fmu today aswell alexia. I was going to wait another day or two before breaking out the digital but needed the reassurance, so also used that and it says Pregnant 1-2 weeks. As they are less sensitive than frers I feel happy that something must be happening if the digital has picked it up.

I am not bleeding or spotting.
My boobs are feeling heavier and starting to feel tender all over rather than just nipple.

I drank loads of juice before I went to bed last night and went to bed late so maybe fmu was more diluted than usual.
It's bloody ace to see our names on the grads list!!

8dpo here and not one teeny tiny symptom - maybe it's because I'm not temping after ov this cycle - whatever it is, I'm more relaxed. This may change towards the end when AF symptoms come along and I sec bad guess myself!

Just had my first PT session of 2017 after 3 weeks of doing nothing - I am RUINED.

I've only done 2 cheap cross ones last weekend and the clear blue digital last weekend. Didn't test this week and then did the dud this morning. DH is still talking about IF I'm preggers. 🙈🤔

Pyjamas - I think not temping is the right thing if it's relaxed you. Besides your probably looking forward to your HSG. Well not "looking forward" as I'm not sure getting our insides flushed will be a pleasant experience but it's a positive step forward.

Pug - I didn't realise there were so many different types of pg test! Is the digital one expensive?

Think I'm on Feb bus too as only managed to dtd on cd9, ovulated cd14... but got flu on cd11 and haven't dtd since ... d&g... desperate & gagging - even though fw has gone this month....
Still managing to symptom spot even though I'm pretty sure I'm out ... wtf 😂

I have finally received my FRER so will test tomorrow with FMU if AF still has not shown.
I still have no symptoms of AF yet though when I usually get them a few days before so either there will be no AF or I didn't ovulate when I thought I did or my body has decided to go solo on this...

No symptoms of af is good either way I think :)

You're right sk1pper, I am strangely looking forward to the HSG - I think mainly because it will feel like we're doing something!

Hippy - don't want to give you false hope or anything like that but sperm can survive 5 days. I would save your pg tests though until the witch is late.

Jam - still cant give you my date as i still dont appear to have ovulated...

Im cd20 now of a 28 day cycle so we will call this a lost one

I got +ve opk's and good ewcm but no high temps & no classic sore boobs

Sorry about the BFN kathrino. I completely get what your saying about thinking there's something wrong. It would make the disappointment of each month so much easier if I knew we'd get there eventually. But each month more and more doubt comes in and I can't help but think it's not happening because of something.

We're only just heading into month 4 so I know I'm being irrational and it's completely normal for it to take longer than this, but it's a constant thought that just won't go away.

It doesn't help that we met up with friends last week, one has a 6 week old and the other has a 6 month old. They were both talking about how easily they both got pregnant first time trying.

How annoying about the dud test mouse. Definitely try emailing them. And demand some freebies as compensation.

Tonks we all need a rant every now and then. I'd have total meltdown around easily conceived babies. It's just not fair.

TTC #1
Cycle 6 - chemical pregnancy last cycle.
CD 17 - should ov in 2 days if my body decides to follow last months pattern.
AF due 21st Jan.

I had a total melt down after my chemical last month but have managed to drag myself back to sanity in time for fertile week.

Alexia I've got my fingers crossed for you. Your PMA is amazing.

Also congrats to fxskip kwick mouse and all others who I have been secretly celebrating their bfp.

Thanks Sk1pper- I'm remaining optimistic because I like to have good PMA but I'm also remaining realistic and waiting patiently for the next cycle!
Tonks - PMA is the only way ... your mind being on board and accepting it will happen is crucial ... so not be disheartened- 4 cycles isn't that many and we don't ovulate for definite every month so in reality I suspect you've only had 2-3 cycles 😊
