Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Oh EJ, it's always so hard to see friends like that. There seem to be so many pregnant women around at the moment too. Lots of for you. You're definitely still in with a chance this month, those sperm can hang around for a good few days and you're just giving them the chance to get into position.

Cannot sleep - am waking up "fully" with a view to releating my getting ready to schleep routine - which will hopefully give me a deep sleep.
Been woken up by a combination of acid reflux - probably had too much sugar before bed (only smarties has the answer) and the neighbours dog trying to break his front door down - which is right by my bedroom. I swear I was terrified and did not know what it was - so I texted neighbour and he said it was dog! The whole house shakes (old Victorian terrace) when the banging starts... I wonder if my very loud snoring has the same effect

mouse I am not sure exactly but disappointingly little time - noticed it had stopped yesterday so not more than 3 days don't think I thought to take a photo... but unlike Alexia I cannot remember - both my short term and long term memory is shot

jam I totally understand the physical longing/yearning - feel like I have had that since late teens - which for me is a LONG time ago!!! The thing that is so disconcerting is that apart from sore boobage, the odd womble cramp and the BFPs I do not feel any different... I am still expecting a sort of mystical feeling to enter my body... but I may have read too many Mills and Boon novels

I'm almost certain that AF is starting. 4 days late. Pissed off with another long cycle (36 days). Think I might need a gp appointment as the last 3 months have been out of "normal" period length

Going to try to keep busy sightseeing today to stop the tears!

Have failed to get dr appointment re kidney infection but am going to sit and wait Monday after work if no better.

I don't see any progression on the frer this morning. My chart is still high (36.86) and no af so I was so hopeful but it's just the same shit that always happens. Everyone and their dog would have a blaring BFP by now!

Refusing to test now until at least 15dpo (if I make it that far).

I'm sorry Kathrino I really hope it's too early for you.

binky I think we're in the same boat - I'm cd 34 today and still no AF. Last cycle was 36 days when for the last 2 years I've averaged 29-31. Have you tested?

Alexia sorry there's not been much progression yet, but hang in there as it hasn't been long between the tests, and some of mine have looked fairly similar. Thinking of you.

Mouse and kwick digis last around/just over 24 hours: I was said when mine had gone off. How frequently are you both still testing? Housemate asked whether there are others still testing this frequently after BFPs yesterday: today's only second day I've managed not to since Sun, I think. When should we stop?!

Alexia, sorry that you didn't get a strong line this morning but good news about the temps. It must be so frustrating for you.

miw, hope you're not feeling too rough with the kidney infection

There's a small chance that I may have ovulated on CD18 and not CD16 which would only put me at 13 DPO and not 15 DPO but pretty sure I'm just clutching at straws and would have expected a FRER to pick it up in any case.

I think I know in my heart of hearts that there's something wrong (I have a theory that it might be an autoimmune thing and/or the result of some other medication I'm on which I was told wouldn't have any impact on TTC but which is relatively new to the market). We probably won't get much of an opportunity in Jan as DH is away with work but I might spend the month making/having doctors appointments so I feel like I'm doing something.

ns last time I managed to get it down to once a week... but you know what, if I need to test I WILL!!! It gives me peace of mind - although that is silly given that it would still show positive even if I MC - but whatever sees you through, right?

Morning everyone, I'm officially in the 2ww now. Think I ovulated around CD13-14 but it's really hard to know when you're not doing opks. I've BDed as much as possible, sometimes I didn't even want to... we just forced ourselves. A last Hail Mary before my HSG I guess. Anyone testing or waiting for AF around 19th Jan?

sk1pper I'm due AF around 21st Jan. I think I may have ovulated yesterday but I'm not sure as haven't been able to reliably do OPKs this month, I had some pains last night which might have been ovulation pain. Fx you won't need HSG

kwick I broke it open and then chucked it in rage so no photo I'm afraid I've never tested well with them tbh. Bizarrely my ic has showed some progression!

Kathrino that sounds very proactive for Jan. You will get there

Sorry about the bfn kath hope it's just too early. I find it easy to slip into thinking something might be wrong too. A doctors appointment sounds like a good idea, although I'm sure you are just fine.

Alexia - a line is a line remember. Try not to be frustrated by any lack of real progression, it will happen for you. Your body is probably slowly gearing itself up. Xx
