January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Kraken, I feel you: my 2ww's barely begun and I'm already wishing it away.

HoHoHo massive congrats, and we'll done on finding time and energy to dtd, and in such spectacular style, he he!

Think I probs ovulate today: don't temp but hit clear blue peak early eve yesterday. We have been dtd loads. But I'm already anxious about two things: I've been using hot water bottles a fair bit and (probably irrationally!) worried they might have harmed the swimmers hanging around (!). Not left them on long when too hot, so it's probs fine. Also, last cycle my luteal phase was only 10 days, and had on/off spotting on 7 of those, so really praying that was just settling after coil removal and that it doesn't repeat itself. Does anyone else have a short luteal phase and/or similar worries?

So I think I'm in the 2ww as I'm no longer getting any lines on the OPK.. I got the strongest line I got was on Friday so I'm guessing I've just missed the surge 🙈 or I haven't ovulated!! Leading up to the strongest line on the OPK on Friday I was really bloated with sore nipples and egg white cm, sorry tmi! But now I'm just getting little cramps and my backaches which is a sign of AF for me 😩 I've been also feeling nauseous in the evenings so I'm unsure ATM 🤔

Amz sorry for your uncertainty and confusion: remind me, since coming off pill have you had a visit from AF? I'm guessing not? Still, from what I've heard you can expect all the weird/pg symptoms when you come off the pill? Hope you are in 2ww and that things settle for you.

Getting stabbing pain on right side since yesterday and none while u was supposedly ovulating according to ovia. So Im getting confused thinking I'm ovulating today instead.

Oh is really hoping this is our month.. If it is we can announce at 12 weeks on my daughters 5th birthday so would be perfect. FXFXFX

NS No not a thing.. I know I have to be patient but it's not in my nature LOL..I heard that too.. To be honest I don't think I have any chance of getting a BFP this month :( I just hope AF shows up soon if that's the case 😁

I think I'm now day 1/2 of tww - had my strongest OPK on Monday and a few twinges on Monday night. Puts my AF due date at 2/1....really going to try not to test early this month as the BFNs are so disappointing!

We gave it our best shot - DTD Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun & Tuesday - failed Monday night but we were both wiped out from work.

So...going to obsessively symptom spot during my time off work be calm & not think about it over Christmas

Amz I know the feeling, what with the spotting in my first cycle I just wanted AF to hurry up and appear after a few days: that felt better than the confusion!

London, yes lots of us indeeds, I'm following other threads to keep an eye out for BFPs, as I find they keep me hopeful. Like you we've dtd lots: every day since Fri, and hoping to tonight too, so think we'll both feel a bit gutted (unless I have a short lp again) if it's not our month.

My AF's due around the 3rd or 4th, which is my birthday, so I'll either have a happy birthday surprise, or a less happy one!

Is anyone else finding the baby/birth-side of Christmas emotionally interesting? It's making me think about it even more, which is quite impressive really!

Don't blame you london all this TTC Business plus work is exhausting! At least you managed to DTD quite a lot! I'm worried if I did ovulate later than Friday I'm out as my OH has been really ill and we haven't DTD at all since then 😁

Hi to all the newcomers!

CD5 (of cycle #2) for me today and AF hasn't left yet (although she's very light today so I'm hoping she's packing her bags). Eager to get back into my FW over New Year.

Can I ask is anyone using preseed? I've heard great things about it so have bought some for this cycle. Hoping it can make all the difference!

I've just bought some pre-seed too .... and some Early Response PT's as they seem to get the best reviews on here and I'm an impatient little git :)))))

Hi novice we used preseed this month - currently Day 1 of tww so the jury is out!!

We're considering trying pre-seed next cycle, this cycle we used Sliquid's Oceanics, as though it's water based it's PH balanced and we like the brand as it's good for me as I'm particularly sensitive. I wasn't too convinced by the research around lube and motility, but I'm willing to try things that have a chance of working!

Hi Novice - well I thought my cycle had regulated out at 29 days, but AF came on the 29th day which makes that day 1 again ... so I'm just trying to recalculate my FW. Last month I detected LH surge on day 15 but only dtd on day 13... so I'm thinking the LH will be around day 13/14 this time. I've got 6 CB digital OPK's left from my 10pack last month so that should be enough. Incidentally - for anyone interested, I called Clearblue care line to ask why they just don't do the refills on the digi OPK's and they said it was because the battery only lasts two cycles.
Sorry for the ramble... Noivce I think my FW will be over the new year period .... which is great.... fingers crossed for an amazing start to 2017

I'm around the same time as you Hippy - FW starting after Christmas and expecting ovulation on the 1st. That's if I ovulate the same time as last cycle (circa CD16 which is quite late from what I can tell on here - my cycles are 28/29 days).

Hippy and others using the CB ovulation tests - are they much clearer and easier to use than others? I used Tesco OPKs last cycle and have bought a load of internet cheapies this time, but starting to think the CB's might be a worthwhile investment to help pinpoint O better.
