January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Bertiebotts yes it is nerve wracking , for so long I felt like I'd left it too long and then the past year I got married and now all of a sudden I'm desperate to have another!

Jelly I don't cut down on caffeine during 2ww but I am cutting out alcohol...luckily my friends are doing it as well otherwise I get all the 'are u pregnant?!' Questions! I continue to exercise but I am taking it slow mainly because I'm so tired due to work. Have started fw today but been as my last cycle was 3 days shorter than usual my dh and I are going to enjoy the whole month. So much more relaxed after stresses of Christmas x x x much love to all x

Got some low pelvic pain on left hand side just now.. probably AF coming. OH bought clear blue digitals this morning (I asked him to get a FR but he thinks they're all the same ) so I will use one of them on Friday at the earliest if no AF by then.

Just did another clear blue ovulation test as I had some pain today and it was a solid smiley! One last try tonight before husband goes away til Saturday! Fingers crossed! 🙏🙏

Hi ttc, I'm pleased it's not just me! I'm trying to stay upbeat and think that tomorrow's another day that might show a positive OPK but it's so hard.

I am just using ic OPKs (One Step) as I did last month. From what I remember they didn't get gradually darker, it just happened one afternoon. No denying that it was a positive, the second line came up straight away, darker than the control.

It's really stressing me out, which obviously isn't ideal! I honestly thought I would be really chilled about ttc and feel ok about the fact it takes time. But in reality I'm a bloody mess

Still getting strong twinges like stitch on my left pelvic bone. I had positve opk saturday so fx!!

When I got pregnant with my first, it was unplanned. I had just started uni and was drinking and eating terrible food, getting little to no nutrients and living on red bull to get me through lectures and my DD turned out alright I do think that cutting down might be advantageous but not completely necessary. Just speaking from experience though!

Just to add, I didn't know I was pregnant when I was drinking and eating 9p noodles every day lol

Bows i know they are a bit pricey but have you tried cb digi opk? It gives you a clear view (not just ov) of your fertile window with flashing smileys build up to solid smiley which is at least one day before surge is detected, that way you definitely wouldn't miss it? There is no ifs or buts with the digi either, worth a try? I bet you are ovulating just not catching it on the ics. Try not to stress about it i know it's easier said than done.

I did comment earlier in the thread, but here are my stats again.
ttc #1, cycle 1, CD24.

I'm using clearblue advanced monitor- anyone else using this? Tracked last cycle after coil removal out of interest and had high days, but no peak (it then continued to read high, as it's programmed to, until peak is reached). This cycle, also no peak. Has anyone else had this? Does it mean I'm not ovulating? I did have some noticeable change in CM over a couple of days.. It's recognising the estrogen rise as it gives me high days, just annoyingly no peak! Hopefully next month will give me peak... but who knows?! 😩

I've not used the clear blue ones GN so can't give any advise really! I just use the cheaper OPK sticks and normally I get a pretty dark line but I don't always get a line as dark as the control line but I always ovulate as it's confirmed by temping. Dunno if it's cos there cheap tho.

GL on your 2ww @hmyh23 fingers crossed for us hey. When are you due to the test? Mine will be 15th Jan as think I'm 1DPO today

Yeah, I was thinking of using CB digi tests next month. But then part of me thinks maybe I need to stop stressing and have a month off testing and worrying and just DTD every other day! We'll see what happens with this month's cycle and take it from there.

If I'm still worried about ovulation by the time AF arrives (let's hope it doesn't ) then I will go to docs, just to see what they say.

My DH is lush. He's just given me a pep talk and made me feel a bit better.

Really gutted af arrived today right on time! Really thought this would be the month. Can't helping feeling down about it and the fact I now have to wait another 2 weeks to try again. Will stay on this bus as next af is due 29th Jan

AF is due around 20th Jan, just started using the CBFM for the second cycle (last cycle had 10 consecutive high readings) and got a low this morning at CD6 so hopefully this cycle should be more accurate!

Sorry to hear that kirsty fx for you this cycle. I'm waiting for my AF to arrive this it's due tomorrow don't feel like it's been my month this month!

Hi DuRezidal, glad to hear it's not just happening to me! Although still annoying for us both!! I'm expecting AF anyday now I guess. Last cycle was 20 days (first one after coil), on CD24 of this cycle, so expect it'll be within the next week. FX that you get a peak reading this cycle.
Thanks Anna, I did get a second line on the high days on the test. I didn't have to squint- just not a very strong one.

Mrsbluebell17 got a positive opk tonight. Same as control line. Dtd fx. Keep testing!!

Hi everyone! So based on my weird early positive OPK, Ovia said to test today. I was super sceptical and thought it was way too early but I've got a bucket load of cheapies so I thought I'd give it a go...and got this - is there a line there or are my eyes playing tricks? I added a negative version too!

I'll test again in a couple of days with a frer though!

I'm not feeling optimistic about TTC at all now. The CP is kicking my arse physically and emotionally. I knew it would be up and down but I didn't expect this in our first month :(

That looks pretty positive to me! Congratulations! But maybe get a first response and a clearblue digital just to make sure!

I got massively faint lines on the cheapies and the more expensive ones showed darker or obvious lines :)
