January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Think I'm heading towards the back of the bus too...

10DPO today & woke up with back ache & cramps again...decided to do waste a FRER & got another BFN! Confused, as had some dull cramping going on since ovulation& massively sensitive boobs for the past 2 weeks - more convinced than I have been before!

But, my usual pre-AF spot (on my face!) showed up this afternoon so I'm sure she's close. Will have another shot on this bus though hopefully!

Yes they use different algorithms to predict. How many months' data have you put in? Are you using anything to track ovulation this cycle?

bertie I have only put in one month of data so far (identically in both apps) and was just surprised that they interpret the data so differently that the suspected ovulation date is is different by one whole week Hmm

I was looking for a January bus the other day and couldn't find one!

I'm TTC #3
Cycle 1

Ovulated (I think) over Xmas day which was tricky as staying with family and people wonder where you are if you nip off and share by room dc 1 and 2 at night.

Think can test on the 8th before dh goes back to work, and don't want to wish the holiday away.....but can't wait!

Anyone else's AF due on or around 12/01? Obv not long into 2ww and it would be great to go through it with someone at near enough the same time. Currently trying to conceive #2 so I know what symptoms to look out for but will be trying not to read too much into anything at the same time. Hate the wait! Confused

Oh and bertie i am not sure when i ovulate (only cycle 3 from pill) but im on cd15 now. ALOT of ewcm on cd13 which has ceased. Dtd cd 8 9 10 12 and 13... No BD for us tonight though thanks to family staying....a whole new reason to wait for new year as we get whole two days to ourselves!! Not really feeling any kind of symptoms today where as i have been super horny (sorry tmi) past 5days or so.... Answers on a postcard as to whether ovia is right or i caught it yesterday Grin

I have no idea Sarahb - just read on here that you need to keep your feet and kidneys warm at all times! I'm also into holistic therapies and have regular acupuncture and reflexology. I've read a holistic therapy book on tTC (and every other book out there on tTC) but the holistic one talks about Chinese medicine as does the baby making bible and it does say that babies need a warm environment- so if your a cold person you should do whatever you can to keep warm ... I eat soup now for lunch instead of salad and I'm well into the bed socks :))
I'd recommend the books especially the holistic one by Gerald kite I think it's on Amazon xxx

Hey Jelly. Sounds like we are in a very similar position! I am also on cycle 3 after coming of the pill and also using ovia. The last 2 cycles have only been 25 days so hopefully they are pretty regular.

Fingers crossed for you as it would be a lovely birthday present for OH!

Thanks emz although im worried about testing and getting a BFN before we go - especially as that will mean i have AF there....fingers crossed. My cycles so far have been 21 and then 30 so quite a difference. I have been feeling quite good and like i am on track this month though but maybe thats Christmas!!

OMG!!!! Tested this morning as was nervous about drinking tonight in case I was pregnant and there it was - a BFP!!!!! I'm 9dpo... I'm not sure I'm completely taking it in as I'm convinced it is inaccurate for some reason or that it won't stick... So so excited but also worried and mind working overtime!!! Before I tested I had decided in my head that I'd tell DH at midnight but now I just want to tell him right away!

Yay congrats flossie fab news to end the year on!

I thought I'd give a test a go and got what I expected a BFN so I might still be on the Jan bus depending when AF decides to make an appearance. First time I have done a test so looking at it as a trial run.

We will be testing at near enough the same time then bubble, that's if AF doesn't show! How old is your DC?

That's it Jelly just try and stay positive, what will be will be. You have done all you can for this cycle now, more than I managed anyway!

Congrats Flossie! What a great idea telling DH at midnight, it would be a fab way of bringing in the new year. You only have a few hours to wait! Easier said than done though I'm sure!

I tested a day earlier than planned (at 10dpo) to a BFN. No AF yet, and think she's due today or tomorrow (though it's only my second cycle so that could be way out). Sod's law tells me she'll probs appear on Weds as that's my birthday! Going to try and wait until Mon to test again.

Hello all, some of you may remember me from December's bus, got my BFP but sadly it wasn't meant to be. Pregnancy ended at 5+1 on Christmas Eve :( I'm currently experiencing EWCM but have my parents staying and tbh the thought of both not conceiving and conceiving are equally scary at the mo so not sure if I'll be attempting any DTD but thought I'd hop on this bus as had gotten reliant on my little pocket support group. Fx for all those awaiting their BFP x

Looking at my temps and EWCM I think I'll likely ovulate around the 2nd or 3rd. Fertility Friend predicts my fertile week as 1st-6th Jan which I think is out. But my ovulation day is hard to predict. I'm tempted to put Ovia back on my phone just to see what it says as well Blush
