Didn't really want to 'try' before my first af but I was trying to track ovulation to see when my period might arrive and if my body was back to normal xx

Amy (I was previously jbee664 when you were on the thread before) I'm so so sorry to see you're going through this again, I felt so uplifted by your message last time! Awful about the bleeding too so I really do hope you get some proper help this time

Edens - you asked for post 12 weeks good news stories...I'm now coming up to 17 weeks which I sometimes can't believe! The anxiety is still there, I still check every single time I go to the loo and get v nervous before scans and check ups but thankfully all good so far!

This thread helped me so much when I regularly posted for advice before...I'd sometimes try and avoid it too but would always come back to it. It would help that others were going through the same thing although I'd hate that you were all suffering too. It also gave me some good advice on OPK's (I was quite clueless about them) and acupuncture (tried it and think it really helped me)

knorrig lovely to see your doing well, I'm coming up to 18 weeks now and I'm the same, the worry is constant!

I still check how everyone's doing over here every so often, this thread was so hopefull when I was TTC thinking it would never happen (although it didn't actually get take us that long, I just felt so hopeless), I hope there are plenty more stick bfps coming up on here soon

I've been symptom spotting a bit and have a nice temp jump on my chart but am going to wait and see if it sticks around I think. If I can hold out until Monday that would be perfect as Monday is our wedding anniversary :)

Littlemiss for me that was always the worst part! I can cope with the TWW etc because you know how long it's going to be. Post miscarriage you just don't know and there are no indicators or rules or anything so it's frustrating. Were you temping as well or just trying opks?

Thank you knorrig! So nice to hear some positive news. I'm gone back into detached mode, it actually makes me a little sad if there is a little one in there I just can't/wont register it. The fear, coupled with the horrible calm, is too much. Oh well, I'll know something tmrw at least.

littlemiss it sounds like I had almost the same path as you. Post mmc but before AF I was pretty certain I had a positive opk(used strips) but looking back I don't think it was right. I def didn't ov properly till after AF. I saw AF as a good thing in the end, meant that all the 'badness' was gone from my body & I was ready for a fresh start. Fingers crossed things start to settle down for you shortly.

Well, AF arrived overnight so that's my first cycle of TTC since my mc 13 months ago.

Onwards and upwards.

No Bertie, I have never done temping. I've only ever used the ovulation sticks.
I know what you mean, I want to start using my Ovia app again but I have no idea at all where I'm up to in my cycle.
Eden, thank you for sharing your experience. Did your af arrive straight after the mucous?! Af has not arrived overnight and I have no more mucous either :/ Don't know what's going on xx

littlemiss I had lots of mucus 2 wks before AF came. Part of the reason why I was so sure I was ov but having seen a proper positive since there is no way I was right. I don't have a huge understanding of all these things but after my first proper period I def felt more normal as well.

Hi ladies, have had a bit of time off the thread as we've been away and I've been trying not to think about being pregnant to get me through the past couple of weeks. However, I've had 48hrs of backache and stomach cramps and woke up this morning and just don't feel pregnant any more so pretty certain I'm heading onto mc #3. Have a scan at the epu this afternoon, I really don't think I can go through this again.

Sorry haven't managed to catch up with the thread but hope everyone is doing ok.

I guess I'll just have to be patient Eden and see what happens. I shall keep you updated

Just read back a couple of pages, hope your scan goes well today too eden how far along are you? I think I'm only 5+3 so not sure how much they will see anyway.

7+1 today. It all ended at 8+5 the last time so trying not to think about anything too much.

Beans sorry you're having such a tough time. You're right, it is a total headfuck.

Too many people have told me this week and that I just need to find the strength to keep trying and it'll work out in the end. I want to tell them to f off, but obviously don't. None of them know it is going to work out and none of them have any suggestions for how on earth I am meant to maintain any kind of hope.

I hate my reproductive system and I hate the endless trips to EPU.

Littlemiss I had some brown stringy blood (tiny amounts) in some mucus for a few days last week, then a BFP on Saturday, so I think this was my implantation bleed...having done some googling at the time though, I think implantation can also be pink/red as well as brown? Could be that? Have you had a negative test since your MC?

MrsY I'm very sorry to hear you're suffering, let us know how you go at the epu today, there is still a chance all could be fine?

knorring and Alb congratulations on your pregnancies, hearing you have both got so far gives me some hope at just 6 weeks I can well imagine that the worrying never stops, so hope everything goes well, keep us updated on your progress

Hi oliversmummy, yeah I had a bfn a couple of weeks ago (a week and a half after my mc). The opk stick was only very very faint positive, and I think unless you get a nice bold line then it's negative?! Xx

I'm not sure on opks to be honest, never used them, but if you've had a bfn, then there could be a chance you're pregnant? Maybe test in a couple of days if AF doesn't show up?

Ok thank you for your advice. I'm probably not though. Last time I actually felt like I was pregnant before I took a test, I don't really feel any different or have any other symptoms xx

Hello ladies, I wrote on this board in November about my miscarriage at 16 weeks.

We've been trying for 3 months, but two of those months I ovulated earlier than I anticipated and we missed our chance. I'm not using OPKs as have never used them before, but wondering if any of you found your cycle getting shorter and shorter. Last month it was 24 days and normally I'm 28 days without fail. Can't wait for AF to finish and get back to it.

Also, I'm not even joking, every woman I know apart from my two best friends is pregnant. Both of my sisters are due the same week I would have been due and I would like to be pregnant again for then - I don't want the pity faces. Sighs.
