Miami Ive got mine booked for 12th Jan, It cant come soon enough as I just want to know whats going on. I think they do a lot of bloods poss internal scan and then you go back a few weeks later for the results, dr said to not stop trying to get pregnant but if i did still go to it as I will be monitored more closely.

Managed to dtd with dp this week twice, both times I bled shortly after which has NEVER happened before. Dont know whats going on with my body at all anymore. not sure if its from the MC from 2 weeks ago or something else my body is now doing!

Please excuse my slightly ranty typo-filled post. May have had a few wines! WineXmas Blush

littlepooch · 24/12/2016 12:11

Hello all. I need some advice please. My AF is now officially late. I Poas using an ic and thought I may have seem a very faint line but a) I know they are horrendously unreliable and b) I am at that stage where I could quite conceivably imagine seeing a line.
I'm not going to get a chance to get to go out and buy a better test until after the 27th realistically, we are at my dads and he literally won't let you move more than a metre away from you without following you or declaring he'll come too (driving me mad but that's a whole other story). So my question is, given this could all be in my head, should I drink or not? I'm not a huge drinker but would probably have a few glasses of wine tonight, a glass of champagne and maybe a couple of glasses tomorrow. I don't know what to do! Feel free to knock some sense into me lovely ladies xx

HollyMay84 · 24/12/2016 13:25

Hey little ok 1) do you have a pic? I feel like I need to see this squinter lol
2) if you are pg realistically a couple won't hurt, make sure you eat lots and space them out..
If you do start worrying then these have always helped me in the past....
3)DON'T let anyone get you a drink, any sign of hesitation people will ask questions Smile maybe you can play hostess and offer people drinks so you don't have to turn any down? 4)Sipping with lips closed and sneakily pouring a few drops down the sink behind people's back won't hurt either if you start getting worried about it..
5) make sure you and your DP are drinking the same thing in the same glasses so you can keep switching to make it look like you're drinking normally...
I really hope it is your bfp and you have a lovely Christmas Xmas Smile

littlepooch · 24/12/2016 18:35

Thank you for replying holly - no pic, as to be honest it was so faint I doubt it would show up anyway. I've decided it's all in my mind and I bet AF will show up tomorrow anyway! I love your tips - definitely going to use them in future. I'm always of the opinion that not drinking draws more attention.
Having said all that, I've been textbook in previous pregnancies, followed all the rules and still had MCs so in a way even if I was pg and had a few drinks I kind of feel like it wouldn't make a difference. I hope you have a lovely Christmas too x

Merry Christmas everyone xx

SayItIsntSo1 · 24/12/2016 20:09

Little, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Just popping on to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Hope you're all off having lovely family time.

I'm feeling more Christmasy than I thought was possible a few days ago. It helps dd is really excited we're currently taking turns to get her back in to bed Grin

Roll on 2017 and our BFPs!

X

Buddah thanks for that, let me know how you get on in January.
Did you have an erpc? Perhaps cervix a bit irritated? Full on bleeding or pink wiping? Would definitely get follow up on that. All the best.

MrsY87 · 26/12/2016 20:51

Just popping on to say happy Christmas to you all! I hope you have all managed to stay positive and enjoy this time with your family and friends. Xmas Smile

We've had a lovely few days (with far too much food and wine!) but have also just had a few tears thinking about our losses this year and how tough it has been but overall it's been full of fun and laughter and I've realised how lucky I am to have the family I have.

That being said 2016 hasn't been great and I really hope 2017 is the year for us all. X

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 27/12/2016 07:52

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Grin
Buddah, after my mmc I had an increase in pain so I went for a repeat scan 4 days after passing the sac and they told me that the lining of my womb was still thicker than it should be and that it was probably fluid or blood clots; and that the pain was due to everything settling down after having medical management and my uterus being told to 'labour', rather than choosing to do it when it was ready to. I then stopped bleeding and a few days later myself and dp were having 'some fun', we didn't even dtd....then when I next went to the toilet and wiped, I bled again and passed some more blood clots. It settled again later that night but I think it's that sudden rush of blood supply to that area and the body thinking it needs to get rid of it after what it's just been through. In my case I'm hoping that it helped to get rid of the remaining clots that were seen at the scan.
I'm sure everything will be ok for you but if you are worried then seek some medical advice just to put your mind at ease xx

littlepooch · 27/12/2016 09:16

Hello all.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I know I am feeling it today, I ate so much! Back on the healthy eating wagon as far as I can from today.

I Poas this morning on both a digi and an ic and got a bfp. So for today at least I am pregnant. I don't know what to feel to be honest. I'm finding hard to feel anything other than panic. I'd forgotten just how horrible this early stage is. I guess one day at a time and we'll see how I get on.

Hope everyone has a good day today x

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 27/12/2016 09:35

Aww that's amazing news. What a lovely Christmas present for you!! I understand your worry and anxiety, but try and remain positive....you're pregnant!!
So nice to hear some good news for a change Grin congratulations!!! Xxxx

Brenna24 · 27/12/2016 09:43

Tentative congratulations Little. How fun and terrifying simultaneously. I hope this is a sticky one for you. Stick around for a while and wobble with us. Flowers

Christmas was uneventful here. Still in the middle of the TWW. Had friends round, cooked and played games. Then yesterday drove down to see one of my sisters and several nieces, nephews and great nieces. Today I am tired.

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 27/12/2016 10:29

This morning I got my first bfn following my mmc, yay! Feeling relieved xx

Edenslight · 27/12/2016 10:40

Happy Christmas everyone, hope you all survived!

Congrats littlepooch, that's great news.

I gave in and tested on Christmas Eve and got a bfp on clear blue. Like you littlepooch my reaction was panic rather than anything else. One day at a time now and what will be will be I guess.

Hope everyone is doing ok today x

emily86 · 27/12/2016 10:41

Morning all. Hope everyone got through Christmas in whatever way they needed and managed to enjoy part of it.

My sister-in-law's boyfriend came and did a surprise proposal on Christmas day which was very exciting and took mine and DH's mind properly off things for once. I also had a lovely chat with DH's aunt who had 3 MCs and an ectopic who knew all the right things to say.

Little congrats on the BFP! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully it is the start of a run of BFPs for us all.

Misssugar congrats on the BFN. I'm hoping to get mine when I test when I get home this evening.

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 27/12/2016 10:53

Ahh congratulations Eden, that's brill news! I actually have a smile on my face reading all this lovely news. I have my fingers crossed for the both of you Grin
I only passed the sac a week and a half ago so wasn't expecting a negative quite so soon. But very glad to see it though, I think it would have confused my mind slightly if it was still positive Confused
Xxx

Kirsty8333 · 27/12/2016 10:54

Congrats on the bfp. Fx we have more good news on this thread. It makes me feel hopeful. I'm planning to test early at the weekend. Af due 3rd jan.

MrsY87 · 27/12/2016 11:08

Congrats Eden and little! What lovely Christmas presents, fx for you both that they are sticky ones, taking it one day at a time is a good idea.

littlepooch · 27/12/2016 11:13

Congratulations eden!

Thank you everyone. Early days so let's see how it goes. Fx for everyone in the tww and those hoping to get a bfn x

sarahmags · 27/12/2016 11:39

Ah congratulations Eden and little! Great to have some positive news on this thread!

Like someone said earlier I POAS this morning and got my negative following ectopic surgery so just waiting for the cycle to kick in now.

Let's hope we have more BFP's soon

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 27/12/2016 12:23

Just out of curiosity when did you guys have your mc's?! Just wondering if any of you got your bfp before your first period?!
I'm desperate to try again now but dp thinks it's best to wait for my first period :( xx

littlepooch · 27/12/2016 12:37

littlemiss I had a Mmc in June and an ERPC to deal with it in July. We started trying not long after so it's taken a few months.
With my DD I fell pregnant with her straight after my second MC and didn't have a period in between. So i think it can sometimes happen very quickly. Some believe you are more fertile post MC - no idea if that's true or it's just luck.

HollyMay84 · 27/12/2016 13:26

Aww Congrats Little and Eden! That's amazing news! That's given me hope and put a new spring in my step! Smile Keeping everything crossed for you both and for all of us waiting for BFPs x

BertieBotts · 27/12/2016 14:05

I've had two miscarriages this year, one in April and one in August. Here they insist on taking blood until the hCG returns to 0 so I didn't have to do any testing but didn't conceive straight after either time. TBH I felt a bit sore and anxious to DTD much so it wasn't very likely anyway.

emily86 · 27/12/2016 14:24

Congrats too Eden! Cross post earlier.

And congrats on the BFN sarahmags.
