Calling all Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers, IUI-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

Yay congrats nicky!!

Btw for all you trackers out there - I've been using Ovia for the last 18 months, but have just downloaded Clue - it's great! I much prefer the interface. Has anyone else tried it? Or what apps do you all use?

Skippy1000 · 15/12/2016 13:18

Congratulations Nicky!! Whoop whoop!! ☺☺☺

Londonjam · 15/12/2016 15:23

Oh my god Nicky!!!!! Congratulations woman that's fantastic!!! Omg telling your oh is going to be SO exciting SmileSmileSmile enjoy every minute lovely!

When in your cycle was your hycosy out of interest? We got referred to the fertility unit today and I'm wondering if they will order this in the New Year.

Londonjam · 15/12/2016 15:31

Kwick brilliant news for your follicles. What's next - do you get the next instalment of magic potion soon?

Binky ahh yes I've had that a few times with conception tablets! Each set of 3 for 2 packs I think surely this will be my last ...

Hello penguin yes so true about our health and loved ones. So much to be grateful for Xmas Smile

Pug that is an incredible amount of sperm! Wow

Sorry you're feeling so rubbish mouse I hope there's a good alternative to the naproxen

Kathrino looking good for the next cycle. I really sympathise with DH being away - mine travels for a living and I find it incredible stressful working his trips around DTD

Great news about your appointment skipper ! Our GP said it could be up to three months - I'm hoping it will be a lot quicker than that...

Nicky883 · 15/12/2016 15:35

Thanks everyone i was waiting for this for so long i think i am dreaming !

London i did it privetely at create ! Had the hycosy on the 25th of november (cd 9) started levothyroxine on 26th and dtd on 26 and 27
Just called the doctor at create fertility who is fantastic btw wish i could afford to use him as my obgyn :) anw he told me to be very persistent with the gp that they need to monitor my tsh levels and up my dosage if its above 3 . He said if she is giving you trouble call me and i ll prescribe it as is so important to keep tsh levels down ! I just dont know why the gps dont tell you that ??

Anw i think i am getting used to the fact that i actually saw two lines on a test day ! Symptoms in 2ww were excactly the same as af appart from a short incedent that i had shortness of breath also my boobs hurt but you know dont trust the boobs !

MouseLove · 15/12/2016 15:51

Oh Nicky so exciting!!! Please let us know how you tell DH. My mind would be going crazy coming up with cute ways!! You could say you got him an early Christmas present. Pee stick in a box!!!!! Or re-create the Amazon advert!! Awwwwww

Nicky883 · 15/12/2016 15:57

Mousei have daydreamed about this moment so many times and now that is here i have no idea what to do ! I ll probably put the clearblue one that says pregnant in a box ! i am sure he wont get the two lines one is a bit faint lol !

sk1pper · 15/12/2016 17:02

London - are you living in the south east? My doc said it would be 3 months but it's actually only one from referral to appointment.

kwick · 15/12/2016 18:57

CONGRATULATIONS nicky!!!!! StarStarStar

the hycosy strikes again!!! I am clearly the exception that proves the rule

Great stats fxskip!

harriet I use Clue to track my cycles but I also use another app too which I prefer. That said all my fertility treatment I track "by hand" in notes on my phone.

My FC called - another scan and bloods tomorrow and I need to inject more hormones tonight. When they see I am surging I will inject an ovulation trigger and then the next day the magic potion will be inserted.

FXSkip · 15/12/2016 19:04

Has anyone got a +ve lol after their temp shift? I think I'm 4 dpo but got this?!

Skipper I'm in London. She did say at the moment it's moving more quickly so hopefully we won't be waiting too long. She said call us to chase it if you don't hear by mid January.

Nicky have you seen your DH yet?!

Londonjam · 15/12/2016 19:13

Hmm mine has stayed strong ish line for a few days, and that doesn't look completely positive to me fxskip. Your temp jump looks pretty decisive to me.

Nicky883 · 15/12/2016 19:19

London he is still not home they have christmas drinks! I think i am going to explode !!

FXSkip · 15/12/2016 19:29

Thanks jam i got the first positive the weekend before last, as I'm CD 22 now but if I ov in next few days that leaves me with a potentially short LP. Ah well, will try to dtd tonight and over the weekend and hope I am covered.

Nicky I bet! It's deliciously horrible not being able to tell anyone at this stage - try to enjoy being the only one in the world who knows (IRL obviously!!)

HepKestrel · 15/12/2016 20:29

Oohhh.... I'm so excited for you Nicky Xmas Grin

Nicky883 · 15/12/2016 20:32

Hep my only pregnancy symptom is bigger boobs and headaches and also Cramping whoch scares the hell out of me ! Dh is on the train back he has no idea i told him af is surely on her way yesterday !

WingingIt83 · 15/12/2016 21:32

So happy for you nicky!!

May I ask how much things like hycosy are at create? Can you just see them directly or do you have to be referred by gp?

kwick · 15/12/2016 21:47

nicky the cramping is perfectly normal - your womble is just making room.

wing a Hycosy should be about £550 if you go private; a hysteroscopy more like £1800

ScottishLady7 · 15/12/2016 22:19

Hi all!

Congrats nicky!

I majorly fell off this thread and I'm sorry not to have kept up properly but just wanted to update you as I think I might still be included on the stats?

I got this today, only 10 dpo and 1-2 days before AF is due... fingers crossed it is a sticky one!

Stats reminder: age 28, TTC #1 since October 2015, cycle 14, no previous hints of a bfp.

Might be a coincidence but I had an HSG last month and was told I was more likely to get pg for 5 months after!!

Good luck to you all, hopefully there will be plenty more Christmas BFPs... Xmas Grin

Nicky883 · 15/12/2016 22:31

Oh wow ! Congratulations scottish !everyone go get a hycosy now !!

Winging it no gp referal needed it was 400 at create

EJ2009 · 15/12/2016 22:32

Congratulations nicky and scottishlady. Christmas bfp are super exciting for you both.

ScottishLady7 · 15/12/2016 22:39

Thanks guys!

Still haven't told DH as he was on a works Xmas night out and I'm not convinced he'd remember if I told him now Hmm

I'll try and think of an inventive way to tell him tomorrow!

MouseLove · 15/12/2016 22:53

Yay!!!! Another long timer!! And another Hycosy!!! Brb, just going to nip and get a hycosy lol

You ladies have cheered me right up!! I've had to miss my works Christmas party tonight because of my stupid joints. That and I like being at home in my pjs and I was staring at the uncut pineapple in my kitchen thinking "shouldn't have bothered" but now I'm going to enjoy it this weekend with a MASSIVE COFFEE. Grin

Binkybunny13 · 15/12/2016 22:55

Congratulations Scottish!

It's funny, this is making me want to go pay hundreds of pounds to be injected and poked and prodded to try to get the BFP like you lot! Wink

InspectorPenguin · 15/12/2016 23:39

Congratulations Scottish! How wonderful to get your BFP at Christmas after so many cycles. Good luck keeping the news to yourself until the morning!

Maybe we should add HSG/HyCoSy to Skip's Stats?

Kwick it all sounds very promising for you, you must be pleased. Good work follicles!

Glad your referral has come Jam and I hope you're not waiting too long. If it's any help, I saw the fertility consultant (NHS) on 27th October and the HSG/pelvic scan were done on 1st December. So not too long a wait really. For my NHS Trust they say you need to have it done before CD14 but after you've stopped bleeding completely.

Pug I missed that bit about your DH's sperm count. That's amazing! He must have been so proud Grin

Mouse sorry your hips are causing you so much trouble. You're definitely doing the right thing in prioritising getting them sorted this month. I hope you're feeling much better soon.

Night all, Friyay tomorrow!
