Calling all Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers, IUI-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

kwick · 11/12/2016 09:42

Haha hep!!!

Your wish is my command:

This is the good witch of the North (of London) commanding the spirits and the magical forces to provide super-douper fertility to all on this thread hoping for a BFP!!! Our legs will be spread and our fingers crossed - let the magic potion play its part and give us what we desire in our heart!

Get well soon miw - hope you are lying back and thinking of England!

mouse I agree tge xfactor final was pants - loads of timing issues - methinks heads will roll.. at least Honey G came back Grin

Right off for scan - oh and it is only day 7 - but the 11th December... not sure what I was smoking yesterday...

FXSkip · 11/12/2016 10:13

Skip here, wallowing in misery.
Age 28
Cycle 2 post mc, it's been a year since I came off the pill. A shit year too, I might add.
CD 18 today, dtd this morning but also had big temp rise today. (I think, usually temp at 5am but this morning not till 9am) so pretty much missed the boat unless by chance I ov'd late last night and eggo is happy to sit around. Last dtd was on Monday Confused

Thanks for the thread Alexia

sk1pper · 11/12/2016 10:31

Nicky - That's why I was asking actually. How awful to get cramping that early. Though, pregnant women can get implantation cramping so who knows!!

kwick · 11/12/2016 10:44

fxskip mahoosive hug Flowers please join me on looking on bright side as yes I too have had a shit year and a MC and I am on to my last vial of magic potion WE CAN DO THIS!!! We are fertile and juicy and in perfect time!!!

So scan results were surprising: 2 follicles at 11mm, 1 at 8mm - so actually somewhat better results than when I did medicated IVF and was on every drug going Xmas Confused I am sticking with milk and PMA being root cause Xmas Grin

HepKestrel · 11/12/2016 11:05

great news kwick !

cd29 here, and i'm staring gloomily ahead to limboland again. I shouldn't be down yet, excluding the epic 180 day "cycle", I was regular between 29-35, so no reasons to think things have gone haywire again.

right . Stop feeling sorry for yourself hep. you have work to do (on laptop, in bed with GrumpyOldCat), then get dressed, and think about taking those curtains up.

Nicky very interesting video.

hmm... need to restart my running ...... with the whole new kitchen stress, i fell off the running bandwagon.

AlexiaB · 11/12/2016 11:09

Skip usually if I temp later it raises my temp by quite a bit. Either way I hope you've caught the egg FlowersFlowers 2016 has been totally shite.

Kwick amazing news! Well done Kwick's follies Star

HepKestrel · 11/12/2016 11:51

Alexia I had a positive opk on the 26th Nov (our hopeful quickie dtd was on the 27th..... not a good FW due to building work and visiting people) so think i am 14 or 15dpo. I am not late....yet..... just remembering how much i hated limbo! I feel I am out of practice IYKWIM !/≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥≥

sorry, GrumpyOldCat likes to step on laptop.

AlexiaB · 11/12/2016 11:54

miwelaisjacydo · 11/12/2016 11:59

Fab news quick
Hep hope you won't be in limbo for too long.

Am feeling mildly better but DH is sitting on his arse doing nothing like he plans to do all day .Am sick of him watching films like a teenager all the time.

MouseLove · 11/12/2016 12:16

Ooooo nice and juicy kwick. I hope one of those eggos is a lucky fat one!!!! FX and chanting for you.

Hep I have curtains to take up too. Just finished decorating downstairs. Having new blinds fitted Tuesday so I think I'll take them up then. Would do today but my dining sewing table is currently full of little discs that I've painted for a Christmas pressie.

I'm going to do an OPK in an hour... wee has been nicely maturing since 10am lol. All I want is a coffee. Confused

I really hope it's bloody positive. Doubt it will be though as it was 1 line bright white yesterday. I had a bit of shooty ovary pain last night when we DTD. I hope one of them hasn't shrivelled up!! Ah well!!!

ringroads · 11/12/2016 12:24

Hi mouse ive seen you post about OPKs before and seem knowledgeable on the matter, hope you dont mind me asking or anyone else, its my second day of positive OPK today, should I take it I will ovulate today or I could of still ovulated yesterday? How soon after you ovulate does the LH surge hormone reduce? Prob wont be able to DTD today so worried I my miss it Sad thanks an good luck with your OPK later x

AlexiaB · 11/12/2016 12:42

Ringroad you can ovulate anywhere between 12 and 60 hours after your first positive opk. There's no set time as everyone is different. I tend to ovulate 48 hours after a +opk but many people ovulate the same day or 36 hours after. Do you get O pain? That (or temping) would help pinpoint ovulation exactly for you. I wouldn't stress if you can't dtd today as long as you did it yesterday? It's likely that you'll be O'ing imminently so if you dtd yesterday you will have mature sperm (where capacitation has occurred) waiting for your egg. Good luck.

ringroads · 11/12/2016 13:29

Thank you Alexia yes i had loads of pain yday n day before so fx my egg has popped n will find its friend soon x

MouseLove · 11/12/2016 13:58

Actually I'm probably the least experienced with OPK of the group but bless you for boosting my ego. X

Well. Negative single line snowy white OPK from me. CD14 today. Fml. Can't help but think I might have ovulated early now. I DTD CD9 & 10 but could have been 8, or 11.

Ovaries, please stop pissing about now.

kwick · 11/12/2016 13:58

hep your time is just around the corner!!!

Blimey mouse you sound very crafty (as in Arts and Crafts) Grin I often try and outsourced my gift wrapping as I am so shite at it...

I feel like all of you lot should be shagging right about now

WTF I think my taxi driver has got lost Angry

MouseLove · 11/12/2016 14:04

Ah. I'm a designer kwick, people always expect some kind of handmade element to my gift giving. Thankfully I'm not shit, so they look semi decent. GrinGrinGrin

It's this kinda idea... but mine will look a little more modern. Dark grey board with white tokens. I'm adding vinyl lettering to the top.

Wow mouse impressive!!!

Binkybunny13 · 11/12/2016 15:20

Wow mouse I want one! I've made some Pom pins for Christmas- they're about as good as my reproductive system! Hmm

Musicgrrl · 11/12/2016 15:43

Hi all, just marking my place. Will write more later!

music
31
Got my first ever BFP at 12dpo at the end of the last thread and am now 17dpo after 6 months of ttc.

Am definitely sticking around here for as long as you ladies will have me - I find it hugely supportive Xmas Smile

My BFP still doesn't seem real and I'm currently over analysing every little thing but I've been assured by the lovely ladies on the recent new grad thread that this is totally normal behaviour!

alexia did your temp go back up today?

AlexiaB · 11/12/2016 16:43

Hey Music, yes it did thanks for asking. Idk why but I'm not feeling too confident about this cycle anymore. I'm not nauseous which is a typical sign for me but I guess time will tell. Time's really stood still the last few days, probably similar to how you're feeling I imagine! Just try to enjoy it because for now you're pregnant, which is amazing!!! Christmas & New Year should make time go a bit quicker for you. Any symptoms?
