Calling all Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers, IUI-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

orange 2ww is excruciating (although on a par with waiting for first scan) so I find having something "to do" helps alot:

  • for first 5 days eat a fifth of a fresh pineapple including the core 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍
  • laugh a lot
  • mega PMA and visualisation
  • keep feet and kidneys warm at all times!!!

music I had mega cramps in my womble again last night - so I was thinking huge disease... I really did not have my hopes up for a BFP... SO glad I used a FRER as I just did an internet cheapie (yes I stored my FMU from 4am Hmm) and it is a BFN... shot maybe my FRER was faulty...

You know what is funny before I did the test I was feeling a tad nauseous... still am!!!
I say pregnancy symptoms: BRING IT ON!!! Last time I felt no different really (except for getting spotty) and that bean did not stick... I need to chuck up!!!
Oooh and you know what is crazy is that yesterday I was on Oxford Street and smelt the Lush store when we were miles from it!

You have inspired me to up my game kwick. I've just ordered a clear blue ovulation monitor as im sick of my IC ones. I cant eat pineapple though makes my mouth itch and gives me stomach ache Sad

Haha wishing you lots of nausea then kwik!! I agree that waiting for first scan is akin to the tww except longer and with more stuff to freak you out on google. I really thought that by 7 weeks if be vomming or at least feeling completely exhausted but I'm not. I'm hoping against hope that it doesn't mean anything about my bean Confused

EJ I'm not a huge fan of pineapple either so I ordered Bromelain tablets instead (less messy too!)

I got crosshairs today! I'm feeling nauseous and praying it's a good sign. It's probably not lol

alexia can anyone take those & are there any downsides? I'm funny about taking suppliments but i'm quite willing to do ANYTHING to make a baby.

EJ I don't know. They're a natural enzyme so I can't see them doing any harm? Plus you'd only be taking them for 5 days. This is what I ordered, you can have a read:

Woohoooo!!!! Congrats Kwick!! Grin what utterly fabulous news Flowers. Something that might set your mind at rest too - your FRER result is about the same strength mine was and the IC I took the day afterwards looked like a bfn to me, so much so it worried me. I needn't have been bothered though as it got darker every day after that to the point even ICs came up in seconds a few days later.

Look forwards to seeing you on the grad thread! I'm 8 weeks today and am a nauseous, knackered, spotty, bloated ball of flatulence at the moment but couldn't be happier Grin.

LSFX for all you lovely ladies! Hoping for more company soon :)

ej maybe you can try Bromelain supplements (this is the mineral/vitamin that is said to aid implantation.

So I did a FRER - you saw the photo, then I did 2 strips internet cheapies - white as snow and then a Superdrug one... is that a line?

Yes kwick that's definitely a line. Those tests are weird as the line always looks so off centre. You're pregnantGrin

Yes, that's a line. I think the ICs are just less sensitive. The smell thing is a giveaway too, I can't go in the Body Shop or Lush now without wanting to heave and I normally love Lush!
