Thread 22. TTC #1 - The one where the BFPs rolled in & long may it continue

Calling all Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers, IUI-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

BFN for me this morning which weirdly settled me for my scan. I think I'm doing this TTC business all wrong. Cycle 1 begged for AF, cycle 2 she came too early and threw me sideways and now 3 and I'm wondering when the hell she might show. Although POAS usually tricks her lol. Next cycle I'm going to do it properly lol

Hello everyone

Well I thought I ovulated on day 15 but then also had pains like I usually get when I ov on day 20 so really not sure!

If af comes this month I am going to start to try to track my temp perhaps and get an opk.

I have a test and so tempted to do it but think no point until I've actually missed af if that happens...tempting though

Oh and yes mouse came off BC start Oct

Welcome Missy I would definitely recommend temping & opks for next cycle. Even if you just temp for one or two cycles at least you will know if you ovulate, exactly when you ovulated and what your luteal phase length is. The knowledge and control it gives you outweighs the inconvenience imo. There's lots of knowledgeable ladies on here too who can help you.

Thanks alexia really appreciate that. I think I possibly might have too short a lp for anything to have happened this month and hoping things settle down as still quite early since coming of BC.
I used to ov on day 15 every month like clockwork before BC so hoping it goes back to that, having said this it has been 10 years so maybe my body has changed.
Still tempting to do test but I'm going to be strict with myself!!!

Fab news about funding geeup, hopefully not too long now before you can get going.

There are a lot of us due AF in that 1st week of January. Surely at least one or two of us will get that elusive bfp?!

Recieved letter in post with our 1st fertility clinic appt today. 11th April. Seems a long while, but I'm trying to stay positive in that 1) hopefully I won't need it because I will get bfp before then.
2)That's 4 months to get fit and healthy and to get bmi to 30 (ideally just below). I think that's a realistic goal as it's currently 36 (probably more now considering Christmas lol).

alexia that is such an interesting graphic - I always thought that the month giving an August due date would have the least conceptions not the most! Your chart is looking good - did your temp stay up? Amazing dtd action btw!

pug those are some great aims to focus on before your appointment in April. Which I'm sure will come around much quicker than we all expect anyway!

Jam that's great inside intel on your morphology results and hopefully that will reassure you. I'm so sure that your BFP is right around the corner. 3-4 times a week dtd sounds tough! Not sure we could manage that...

Sorry to all that I have missed this time - not intentional. We've just got back from DH's parents to find our cat has brought us a gift of a dead rat. So we have spent the last few hours cleaning all the floors and surfaces. Not best pleased!

April will be here before we know it pug - and like you say hopefully you'll be upduffed by then 🙂 I was thinking the same about early January although not getting my hopes up - the hope ship has sailed for me, I can't take the disappointment!

Oh FFS the bitch has just arrived

Only on cd27 today but as ovulated earlier than usual i did expect AF to arrive a bit earlier, but on my birthday is just taking the piss. Plus no warning at all as my temp was still high this morning. Before you all say it , far too much for implantation bleeding unfortunately

Only positive is my luteal phase seemingly normal with absolutely no supplements taken this month at all.
