Thread 22. TTC #1 - The one where the BFPs rolled in & long may it continue

Calling all Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers, IUI-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

Just wanted to pop by and say MERRY CHRISTMAS! to everyone!

Omg Peaches!!! It's so nice to hear from you. I've been thinking of you and did ask about you from time to time. I'm sorry you're still ttc I totally understand your pain and how you're feeling, especially thinking what could and should have been. Can't believe your friend grr so unfair. Seeing the Dr in Jan is a very positive step. I'm hopeful 2017 will be the best year of all our lives! Hope you've had a lovely Christmas day

Well I'm absolutely and utterly knackered. I didn't stop all day yesterday and again today. I'm aching so much.

Birthday boards went down a treat. My mum studied hers a little too long looking for a potential new birthday and then I just wound them up further by giving them more blank tokens for any new birthdays they want to add to the board. Hahahaha.

I got spoilt too, DH bought me literally everything I wanted without knowing I wanted it. He's just so awesome at presents. And thankfully he wasn't disappointed with my attempt either.

And on the happy note.... no AF!!! Today is CD28 so I'm really hoping AF turns up in the next few days to pop me right in the normal range. I think I ovulated on CD18 though so might be closer to my MRI scan. I'll have to POAS on Friday if she doesn't turn up to make sure. But I know I'm not pregnant as we didn't DTD around ov.

I've had a wonderful Christmas with my family. First time we have spent the full day with my brother and his partner as they usually spend it with her family and new years with us so was a nice change. Certainly made my mum happy . Loads of fabulous presents, a feast fit for royalty, great company and laughed loads. No point dwelling on what we don't have. Our time will come around .

Actually did not feel so great through some of it - major womble cramping - not sure what that means. Boobage so sore just the slightest brush is painful.

Glad everyone had a lovely day, mine wasn't bad - definitely ate too much but managed to keep the drinking under some control three glasses of wine.

Now I've got to do it all again today with the other side of the family.

Boobs are a bit sore and cm has gone white so I've ovulated. We DTD days 11, 14 and 17 - half as much as we usually do. Hoping it's enough.

Struggling to keep my focus today- had thought when I started TTC that I might be picking up baby stuff in the Boxing Day sales and I'm not Eating my body weight in chocolate to help me numb the feelings!

It's really sad, but barring a bfp, this is possibly the best Xmas present I could receive. Confirmation of ovulation. I love this sensor, never been able to see such an obvious rise using a thermometer. Going to try and book blood test appt to check progesterone when surgery reopens on Wednesday for 7dpo.

peaches I'm sorry about your miscarriage and no bfp yet. 2017 will be your year, it will for all of us.

No AF here and nope I'm not testing this cycle unless I get to Thursday and even then I'll be testing to make sure I'm not pregnant as I have my MRI scan on Saturday. I'm having womble ache so I expect she might turn up soon. If she does I'll be SUPER happy as that means I'll have had a "normal" cycle which is massive for my 50 & 23 day past cycles.

Today is CD29 and I'm not sure when/if I ovulated as I never got a positive OPK.

Yeah Mouse - that is fabulous, a normal cycle is something to be really happy and proud about. I think sometimes we focus so much on the end goal that these little achievements get lost in all the noise. Woop! Xx

binky no still no niece/nephew! She had to spend Xmas in hospital on normal ward as no bed but today she did get onto delivery ward so now they should properly induce her.

I'm very gloomy this tww. Normally I'm irationally positive and convinced this is it but not this cycle. No change to normal whatsoever, because I got temp rise earlier than normal I have a sneaking suspicion that AF is going to arrive on my birthday :-(

Just a quick one to say merry Christmas! Looks like you all had a lovely time. Mine was sober, thought MIL would be out of hospital but was not to be, so we took Xmas dinner in Tupperware! It was lovely though, whole family having a laugh - managed to keep it quiet though as feel like DHs family didn't know how to be with me after last mc. Decided I am going to go ahead and tell people early, but only the people who were really supportive last time.

However don't know if this is pms but it's left me in tears all evening -I'd like to say it's because I'm happy for her, which I am obviously and can't wait to cuddle the little one but I think it's actually sadness/jealousy that it's not me .
The day she announced she was pregnant was the day AF arrived for cycle 2 and did not think I'd be here now 9 months later still waiting for my bpf

winging congrats on becoming an auntie. So completely understandable to feel emotional though - my best friend (and some other friends too) are due in Feb and I am just so jealous!

I'm just waiting for AF to arrive (think 3rd Jan) so can FINALLY start trying. In the meantime have been working on my food baby- deffo look about 5 months pregnant after the last few days solid eating!
