Thread 22. TTC #1 - The one where the BFPs rolled in & long may it continue

Calling all Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers, IUI-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

I'm out for this year, it's definitely AF. Unfortunately I think the cramping is going to happen at work, I hope it's not too severe as I've a lot of work to get done before Christmas.

However, I had zero brown spotting. I've never understood why i used to get it but I never thought it was good to get it so soon before AF so I'm going to try and focus on that instead. A little achievement for me.

I've got my first appointment with the fertility clinic on the 3rd Jan so at least I'm heading in the right direction to get this shit sorted for 2017.

OK. My PMA. I'm only on cycle 3 (again). Last time it took 8-10 cycles (depending on how you count). There is nothing wrong with me or my mature ovaries. I will have a nice Christmas and new year with my family without having to hide no drinking. 2017 will be a good year.

Hep - don't get me wrong, I get brown blood is old blood but I used to get 5 days of old blood and 5 days of new blood every cycle. It didn't seem healthy to me, like my body wasn't shedding my lining properly or was cutting my luteal phase in two. All speculation ofc. I don't think it's going to take you as long to get your BFP this time, your body know what to do now and you're ready. You'll be graduating much earlier than you think - but in the meantime you get to enjoy a cheeky drink at Christmas!

Miranda, Mouse and I are all due on xmas day - FX AF stays away! I've been getting cramps too, and BFN this morning (I am a terrible POAS addict) so I am pretty sure I am out - fine given that we didn't DTD at all in FW. I mentioned to DH the other day that it was all well and good dtd on CD 25 (etc) but it wouldn't help with baby-making. He looked utterly confused and I had to explain FW to him AGAIN. This idiot has even watched the great sperm race and STILL has no idea. WTF??!!

Anyway, my money is on Star - 2 days late and a total rockstar for not poas yet!!

We have DTD this morning and I put a softcup in straight after . Not letting any of those get away! Can't do it again now until Saturday. Hope egg either comes imminently or waits until Sunday!

I've just been looking a my contract for new job..just realised if I miraculously get pregnant this cycle I won't be eligible for any maternity pay! (I've been having a short career break whilst sorting out new better job)
Hopefully this will be the Sod's law effect I need!

Im cd 19 of a probable 33 day cycle. Trying to have a more relaxed one and just regular DTD, but feeling a bit weird now I've found this out about SMP
