Thread 22. TTC #1 - The one where the BFPs rolled in & long may it continue

Calling all Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers, IUI-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

nicky I agree!!! My FC places a lot of importance on the thyroid - I am on 50mcg.. which I am now trying to take at night on an empty stomach - very hard work!!!

I keep getting stitch like pains all over my lower abdomen. They only last a couple of seconds and it only happens every hour or so. I'm trying not to read into it, especially as last month food was tasting weird and I was gagging from a peroxide smell at work that no one else could smell. Nope! Sorry body, but you can f-off this cycle!

Does anyone know if you can request a print out of blood results? I never saw mine. GP said all fine but now I'm suspicious!

Thanks nicky and Harriet I will go back and discuss the results. I never had my T4 tested, they just did tsh as part of day 2 bloods. I've found the guideline and will print off and take with me.

Skipper I'm getting stitch like pains as well, had them every day for the past week. Had terrible heartburn last night & I never get that. Noticed the veins on my boobs this morning too & I'm sure I've never seen them before but I might be losing my mind. Trying so desperately not to think about it all or get my hopes up as symptoms previously have always come to nothing. Keeping everything crossed for you & any others currently in the 2ww.

Good luck Hippy and Star - glad I'm not the only one going insane in the 2ww. I have managed to keep myself relatively busy this time though. Might wrap some presents later tonight.

AF is due Wednesday, no brown spotting yet again this cycle. Trying to work out what has stopped it, maybe the fish oil supplement? I'll only test if she's late Mouse

My cycles are usually 31-33 days and I'm CD 33 today. If by some miracle I'm going to get a Christmas BFP then I'll wait until Christmas Eve as I'd like to do it in style

Im due af wednesday. I feel exactly the same as normal. Sore heavy boobs and mild period cramp type sensation which is my exact pattern for end off tww. Absolutly not testing as bfn are too painful. I've got a bottle of champagne that i kept from my birthday which i promised myself i can open christmas eve if its a no baby month.

Fingers crossed everyone who is testing before Christmas! After my weird pains on cd11 that def felt like obv my temps stayed low and got loads of ewcm on cd 13 14 and 15. Not opking this month just temping but I seem to have ovd a lot earlier than usual this month as have had a temp rise yesterday and today 15/16. Bloods being taken on friday :-)

Good luck EJ - I was looking forward to eating a load of stinky cheese over Christmas so I can't be too upset if it's not my month. My boobs are really painful too but they always are at this time, got a bit of a runny nose too. I thought it was allergies but I cleaned the house thoroughly yesterday so not sure if it's a symptom or I'm just being really ridiculous.
