Welcome to our third thread on PCOS. What we don't know isn't really worth knowing. We're a friendly bunch of women who have a few things in common. We all have either PCOS or unexplained infertility and we're all on a mission for a BFP!!!!

So I bit the bullet and booked an appointment this Thursday privately in London. £270 for a consult with the Gyn. Ouch :( Can anyone help me with what I should be asking at this appointment to get the most out of it? I came off BC in august, not 1 period since. Anything I should ask her for immediately? Gosh this thread moves to quickly right now, I can barely keep up! I'm CD40 today, no idea if/when I ovulated. I seem to have a shorter cycle, then a longer one and I have no idea what it means for my body. Tested last week, BFN, so told myself I'd wait a week but I am itching to test today.

It looks like a very strong line. Any idea how many weeks/days you are?

If you've not had any tests before, would suggest 2-5 day bloods, 21 day bloods and an ultrasound scan to see if anything shows up on there.

5 weeks and a couple of days! That would be why the line is so good! Happy days! Can you go and get a scan under your fertility clinic?

Were going today so ill ask. They told us to use condoms before ivf

It has been so long since we had a BFP on this thread. I think there was Nutcracker late last year, and maybe Dani before that.

I think we are definitely overdue for a run of luck (looking especially at Amy and Boggle).

Unfortunately, AF has just greated me, unless it's implantation bleeding - but I doubt it, there seems to be rather a lot

That's ok, you're allowed. But this is a good thing, you've got your little bean, all warm and cosy in there, ready to meet you in November/December.

Sorry to hear that Amy. I will keep my fingers crossed that it somehow still works out for you.

What treatment have you got scheduled for next cycle? More clomid?
