I'm 4dpo and testing slightly early on 5.11.16 at 12dpo because I'm going to a family party that night.

Anyone needing any company during the 2ww? It's my first cycle off the pill and I'm obviously over-analysing everything!

I can join you for a day or two. AF should arrive tomorrow. If it doesn't arrive by Monday I will test. As sometimes I can be a day early or late.

It's our first month trying so I would be so surprised if I am pregnant.
I over analysed EVERYTHING. Think my head is playing games on me - last few days I felt sick but I really think it's in my head.
Don't think I have any signs really - sore back but that could be because of AF on the way.
Boobs aren't as sore as they normally would coming up to my period.

This is my first cycle TTC #1 and the ONLY CYCLE I am allowing myself to get obsessed. So I'm just going into full analysis mode, boob-prodding, poking my cervix, am I feeling sick? Am I feeling light-headed? Is that a milisecond of heartburn etc?

I actually don't know when I ovulated, I normally have a pretty good idea but I THINK it was early this month CD 13 or 14. So that puts me at 9 or 10 DPO. I am try to hold out until 4/11 unless I start to feel really strange beforehand.

The only unusual symptom for me is that my boobs have been sore since around ovulation, whereas they normally only start to hurt 4-5 days before my period arrives.

Time is crawling by.

Hi ladies. The first cycle is such an unknown isn't it. We were planning a lot in advance so I bought OPKs and have taken my temperature this month so I'm happy to know that I've ovulated.

I didn't even know if it would take my body a few months or not to even do anything! Its going to be a long week that's for sure.

This is my technically my first cycle as last month OH was so nervous about performing that he couldnt cum! I think I ovulated yesterday so I'm waiting now. My 30th birthday is on 5th November though and I'm a bit gutted that I can't drink because its too early to know if I'm preggo or not! I'll be gutted if Im not and spent the night of my 30th, (on a Saturday!) stone cold sober! I heard FRERs can work from 6 days before your period which would be 4th/5th for me but theres a high chance it'd be negative even if I was upduffed. Any thoughts gratefully received! x

You never know Flappergirl it could be worth a go, I've seen some people get a +ive on FRER from 9dpo but then for some people nothing shows up. I'm nervous about testing at 12dpo, but the party I'm going to I will most definitely be expected to get drunk (and I want to!) so really want to confirm/rule out pregnancy!

Exactly MrsG I'm gonna have a glass or 2 of bubbles either way and I already know that I'm gonna crumble and get a frer. If its positive that'll be its own birthday present!

I'm cd 26 and will test on cd 30 (1st nov) if no af by then. It's my second cycle off the pill (and first cycle ttc) so I'm not sure how long it'll be, but based on last month ovia says af should be right around the corner. No odd symptoms only managed to dtd a couple of times during my fertile days (again, according to ovia) so fully expecting af to rear her ugly head. Time will tell!

@flapper my Dr advised that no nutrients from you go directly to baby for the first few weeks, so I'd certainly feel free to have a glass or two! Enjoy your birthday!

Yep I'd agree with what everyone else has said, Flappergirl. It won't make a difference and it's a good time to test - if it's a negative you go out and enjoy your birthday and if it's positive, that will easily make up for no bubbles!

Thanks guys thats cheered me up no end! Will splash out on a frer a bit closer to the time then. How early can symptoms appear? I feel sicky today but I'm only just out of ovulation and I'm such a fantasist when it comes to these matters! I also only dtd twice during FW but at good times. It only takes one eh?

Incidentally there's FRERs for £3.99 including postage on ebay right now if anyone else is loathe to pay loads to wee on a stick. They're not in the box but they're sealed and come with the pamphlets. Think they must be from the wee-stick factory or something.

hi all I'm 8 or 9 DPO and have had cramps today like AF is going to start but nothing as yet, just some white cm. This is cycle 3 TTC our first child, I'm 28. I hate the TWW I over analyse everything as being a potential symptom and i can think of nothing else! Af due anytime from tomorrow to Tuesday, I'm not holding out much hope this month cos of the cramps I'm having. Done a cheap eBay test today BFN but I know it would be too early for anything to show as implantation can happen upto 12 DPO. Good luck everyone xx

Hi Laura I've been having cramps too but am only 4dpo, it's really puzzling me!
Do you have a first response test to test with in a few days? They're more sensitive I think.

I'm in my TWW also, AF was due on Wednesday gone and still nothing yet! Tested twice and both were BFNs going to wait until I'm late the full week and see if that helps!
I'm so glad reading this that I'm not the only one who has overanalysed everything! I'm hoping for you all xxx

I feel sooo sick today. We're travelling a few hours down south to the wedding though right now so I don't know if it's just nerves about the journey! Symptom spotting at 5dpo, god help me!

Ooh I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you HellsBellsK! Hopefully once you're out it'll take your mind off a bit which might be a good thing! Waiting until Monday sounds like a good idea if you can manage it!

My cycles have been very regular since coming off the pill last December which is why I'm so confused? I was on holiday last week to Los Angeles and I'm worried the jet lag might have messed my cycle up? Hasn't stopped me getting my hopes up though! Really need to try and be more realistic!

One of my best friends had a baby boy today. He's perfect. I want one!

POAS today as I couldn't hold out another 3 days. BFN. Not even a squinty line. So I think I'm definitely out this month. I'm on CD 27.

Hi MrsG still having cramps and watery white mucus but no AF yet, I'm going to hold off till tomorrow if nothing's happened I'll try first response, been reading reviews about the cheap eBay Ines this morning and lots of people saying they had negatives but got positive with decent makes. Trying not to get too hopeful! I'm at he toilet all the time checking if any things happened ha. Xx

Any BFPs ladies? I tested yesterday (far too early) and got a BFN. But no sign of AF yet so will test again on Wednesday.

Some of you lot are having some promising signs!!

Cramps 4-5 dpo sound interesting if you don't usually get them..and no AF but lots of white CM is another classic sign....

So I totally caved and did one of those super drug early tests. CD 24, 10-11 days PO? (ironically this is the one cycle in about 12 where I dunno when I ovulated). I got a very very faint line!! I couldn't and still can't believe it. Apparently period due tomorrow according to my app...

I haven't told anyone at all. Except some strangers on mumsnet. I do want to test again tonight (working nights) but also don't. I feel really happy and dont want to burst my own bubble! So now I'm madly googling "faint bfp" etc. I should probably leave it two days at least right?

Still feeling terrible - I feel hungover without the drinking the night before. Headache and feel like I will be sick.
Also have dry mouth. Still no AF so only 1 or 2 days late.

Was going to test this morning as I felt so bad but DH is not here today and said I would wait for him. So we will test in the morning !

Still early for you wanting hopefully another few days will give you a BFP!!

Flapper I would say I felt sick all last week - I thought it was all in my head but now Im a couple of days late I thinking may be I am?!? But still don't want to get my hopes up.
I would be so shocked if I do get BFP
