Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (AF) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier.

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around too. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, temp experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Sorry you're in suspense binky no fun to be there. Some ladies don't get a + hpt for weeks after so always a chance it's that. Could be that you ovulated late...was there anything stressful going on when you were due to ovulate? Any illness? Or you could have just had an anovulatory cycle. Most women have 1 or 2 a year, so nothing to worry about. Don't think there is anything you can do other than wait a few days, take another hpt and/or wait for af to show.

bluebird3 · 25/10/2016 09:23

I just finished walking dead skipper

It was uncomfortable! I don't know what to think now. Won't be able to stomach many more episodes like that!

MrsG280516 · 25/10/2016 09:27

Finally got a temp rise today from 36.09 to 36.30 but still got a positive OPK, does that mean I ovulated yesterday or will ov today?

MrsG280516 · 25/10/2016 09:28

Keeping my FX for everyone not out yet! We're due some more BFPs Smile

Musicgrrl · 25/10/2016 09:36

Ugh binky that not knowing really sucks. I've been there before and a lot of googling did seem to indicate that quite a few people don't get +ve tests until later like bluebird says.

I took my OPKs into work today as was planning to do two a day leading up to O this cycle. Wasn't expecting a +ve until Thursday or Friday but the one I did this morning was very close to +ve and I have a tonne of EWCM (sorry tmi!!). Now I can't focus at work as want to get home and dtd. We didn't yesterday but did on Sunday but I'm worried we'll miss the egg today!

Binkybunny13 · 25/10/2016 09:41

Thanks bluebird. I had an interview but thing is, I have some other conditions (skin especially) and they normally go mental at the first sign of any stress, and they've been fine, so that seems less likely. Plus the interview was well into my 2ww- I thought mainly luteal phases stayed quite consistent?

You're right though, just going to have to wait and see.

LSFX all

Binkybunny13 · 25/10/2016 09:43

Music excellent news! Get on the DTD tonight- good luckWink

Musicgrrl · 25/10/2016 11:32

Oh man - baby bomb from my friend at work. She is 15 weeks pregnant. I am happy for her but it has also just put a downer on me getting excited that I have EWCM and an almost positive OPK... Also I asked how long she had been trying - she got lucky first cycle when they weren't even properly trying!

HepKestrel · 25/10/2016 11:48

grrrr on your behalf music

MouseLove · 25/10/2016 11:58

Music, don't worry, swimmers stick around for up to 5 days so as long as you DTD in the run up to ov you're good!! Relax, enjoy it.

CD40 today for me. Actually really relaxed and ok despite the lack of AF and a BFN on Friday. I think I've accepted the fact this might take a little longer to kick start. Loads of EWCM the last 3 days so lots of DTD just in case. Wink

MrsG280516 · 25/10/2016 12:00

Sorry about the baby bombs Music Flowers
It seems nearly everyone I know that is/was pregnant managed to fall on the first cycle

sk1pper · 25/10/2016 12:03

So my MIL has found out we're TTC, I've no idea how this has happened as I've only told my sister and 2 friends who don't know her very well. My OH has told her to keep quiet about it as we're going through a rough patch what with it taking so long and starting tests etc, we don't want the world and its dog to know we're infertile.

Apparently, her exact words to her son were, "oh well, at least I've already got two grandkids. That's more than enough." Nice, real fucking nice. As long as she's happy I guess!!!

MouseLove · 25/10/2016 12:07

Urgh Sk1pper I'm willing you get upduffed just to piss her off lol Wink What a selfish cow bag.

I haven't told anyone we're TTC, I don't think I will either. Thankfully after 8 yrs of marriage people have died down with the "when are you gonna have babies" questions. Hmm

MrsG280516 · 25/10/2016 12:11

We are kind of keeping it "secret" for now that we are TTC, when our mums asked after the wedding we said we were going to wait until the new year so they know it's soon anyway. I've told a few friends but that's it. Not sure how we will handle it if we are still trying a few months into 2017. Speaking of which, I totally freaked out on Sunday when someone posted on FB that it was only 10 weeks till 2017, argh.

purpleladybird · 25/10/2016 13:28

Sorry skipper that's awful Sad

wapsmahoney · 25/10/2016 13:41

Hi everyone

Not sure if I introduced myself on this thread or a different one so lets start again...

TTC#1
Cycle 3
CD2

Last cycle I think I got a bit carried away with the wishful thinking that I had completely and utterly convinced myself I was pregnant as I had been feeling really off and different the last week or so... only to have AF arrive with a bang yesterday .... here we go again!

Nicky883 · 25/10/2016 13:43

Skipper I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut if my mil said that !
Anyone who had an SA done in create fertility how long did they take to send tou the results ? My dh has just finished (litterally) and i am very anxious about it !!

LondonJem · 25/10/2016 13:54

Hi purpleladybird I remember you. Sorry you are still ttc. I think the testing place we've mentioned was Create Fertility. They have two branches in London but I'm not sure if they have any outside. I'm sure there are loads of good ones outside London too though. Have you been to see your GP about getting tested on the NHS?

LondonJem · 25/10/2016 13:55

Fingers massively crossed for all the testers. That's the worst bit of the cycle for me - the flip-flopping between disappointment and hope is unbearable. Distract yourselves as much as you can! I hope AF stays the hell away and we can celebrate more BFPs on here.

LondonJem · 25/10/2016 13:56

Skipper WTF that is awful. Is she quite an odd person? I wonder how on earth she found out.

LondonJem · 25/10/2016 13:58

hugs music your post made me sad. I totally get excited about EWCM and positive OPKs too! Our bodies are doing what they should be. It's just taking us a little bit longer.

Maybe we will appreciate being pregnant more than the people who fall first time.

LondonJem · 25/10/2016 13:59

nicky how did he find the experience? DH said it was 'surreal'. He got the results the next morning.

LondonJem · 25/10/2016 14:00

Oh and parents! Inlaws have no idea. My parents know as I told them last year.

Mum occasionally says fairly insensitive things like "Your dad and I didn't even try to get pregnant!"

I am one of four Envy Thanks mum.

Nicky883 · 25/10/2016 14:20

London he didnt say much he was on the train though so i will ask him later !
I thought they send it the same day ? Cant wait until tomorrow Confusedso anxious !

LondonJem · 25/10/2016 14:34

Nicky you could well get them today. I think it was because DH did his at the end of the day. Fingers crossed
