Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (AF) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier.

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around too. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, temp experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Thank you girls so much for everything yesterday when I had a meltdown and today Flowers I'm in tears. How? I only tested because I've felt so sick and my temp went back up today. I got an almost positive OPK last Saturday. I just don't believe it. Getting DH to get more tests!

MusicFlowers I hope you haven't missed O xx

I think so Gee Shock Even though it's nearly sent me insane with my chart. I need to back it up with it a better test though!

Music I'm sure it's this cycle. I did get an almost positive OPK on Saturday 5th Nov so this line would make sense if that was true?

skipper my temps do go up and down a bit between AF and O usually but this is a bit on the high side. If it goes back down again tomorrow then I think it could be within normal range. Will have to wait and see I guess. It seems highly unlikely that I would O that early. I've not done anything different this cycle.

Hello miw
Thanks Mabel
Hope you are both doing well.

My period was weird. No cramps at all - and usually get severe cramps on day one. And it stopped completely yesterday. Absolutely nothing. So I bled for two days with no cramps. I don't think I'm pregnant - no other signs at all - but I'm worried about having a period that short Sad

Alexia - I don't believe it Grin, I need to get me some clomid. Well done lovely lady! Xx

Music - don't freak out just yet, remember it's the overall pattern your looking for. Try not to scrutinise every temp this early on - I know it's easier to say than do but hang in there!! Xx

Thank you all so much Flowers It's still very early days but it's exciting! I've also been spotting as I mentioned so who knows if it'll be sticky.

Gee aw it can still happen for you! You're only on your second cycle. Fx! Flowers

Nicky take it!!! Even if you do ovulate it gives you a better and stronger O. More eggs = more chances and also the eggs are usually bigger which is better for the sperm! I'd recommend it to all.

Kwick great news on the follies! LSFX!

Jem if it's just a one off I wouldn't be too concerned by it. There's always something to worry about though xx

And that goes for you too Skipper. I'd get some from your Dr or clinic. If you can't, the Oxford Online Pharmacy is legit and I know many people who use it on FF.

Alexia congratulations! Is this cycle 18? well deserved anyway, very happy for you and FX for you

Kwick also hoping your week goes well, FX for the scans and the delivery of the juice :)

Jam I don't think a 2 day period is anything significant to worry about, our bodies sure do like to mess with us though.

Hep sounds like a smashing AF, here's to you being back on track Wine. It's funny that we had such massively different experiences of mc (not funny ha ha, iykwim) but ended up coming out of it at not too dissimilar places. If that makes sense - ie between 8-10 weeks to recover. I don't know what I'm trying to say, I'm just glad for you.

I had a positive OPK last week, CD 17/18, only managed to dtd on CD 14, 18 and 20 though but you never know. So now I'm CD 22 and ready to settle in, grab some popcorn and watch the BFPs roll in whilst I wait for AF.

sk1pper · 14/11/2016 10:35

Skip - your post regarding popcorn made me chuckle though I can't work out if you're being extremely positive or negative. Hmm. You are more than in with a chance this cycle, let's enjoy the 2ww together.

Alexia - do you think the Doc will just give me Clomid if I ask for it? They are so funny about perscribing stuff. Ahh your BFP has made me so happy, it's literally gives us all a glimmer of hope.

Thank you FxSkip - yep it's cycle 18 and 20 months! I think you have it well covered. LSFX!

Skipper I think they will but your cycles are regular though so I'm not 100% sure. You've been trying a long time though. Use the online pharmacy if not? Or I can post you some of my Femara stash hahaWink

Thanks Alice. It will be worth it in the end Flowers

My temp has been a bit all over the place since CD1 this month. My chart looks quite similar to last months but I'd assumed those jumpy temps were due to just coming off the pill. I've had four temps higher than last months cover line already but just not consistent rises. Only CD7 so not expecting ovulation yet but it is confusing me a bit!

sk1pper · 14/11/2016 11:33

Alexia - I'll bring it up with my GP when I get my results end of Nov. My feeling is, if my tubes are blocked (as I expect) no amount of Clomid will help. I feel like there needs to be a biological version of that drain blocker you can get to clear plugholes.

Yes, that's right, I've just compared myself to a kitchen sink.

Sk1pper what makes you think your tubes are blocked? Have you discussed a hycosy test with your doc? Apparently these tests are the anatomical equivalent of Dyno-rod Shock

Well everything that I can track seems okay. Cycles are regular, ovulation (going by temps, OPKs and ov pain) is every cycle normally around CD14. I had an ultrasound in my womb and it was fine, normal lining no fibroids etc.

The only indication for me that something is wrong is my periods. They are horrendous and the reason I was on the pill for 9 years before TTC.

My mum and nan both had hyserectomys at my age because it was affecting their value of life and when they did keyhole surgery on my mum she was absolutely riddled with severe endo in her Fallopian tubes and on the outside of her ovaries.

The doctor said it isn't necessarily hereditary but I have my suspicions because a special endo diet and health regime I've been following had cut my AF pain considerably. I don't think it's a coincidence.
