Gorgeous pic moonlight Smile

kirsty this is cycle 6 for me.

Eva It's easier to say than do isn't it, but it's hard not to plan for it when you're ttc
And then there's sods law always out to get you...

LisaSimpsonsbff · 20/11/2016 08:21

I think you should go for the job, Eva - I think if babymaking does take a while longer you'll be kicking yourself that you didn't, and if it happens soon then the timing won't be great but it won't be the end of the world, either. I know it's hard, though.

Got my static smiley this morning, which made me happy - suggests I was estimating ovulation about right.

Kirstyinnorway · 20/11/2016 08:55

Well, AF got me this morning. Absolutely gutted. Two days early too! Trying to see the positive (hah, no pun intended) in that now my fertile week probably will NOT fall on the days DH is away with work (which it would have done before).

Also, I can have a glass of wine this week. And it's a fresh start to try again. And DH is being lovely and has brought one of our house rabbits up to stay in bed with me while he makes breakfast Grin (don't worry, they're litter-trained).

Kirstyinnorway · 20/11/2016 09:02

I know this isn't a rabbit thread but... this guy is the ultimate cheerer-upperer. I'll lend him out to the next person that AF gets.

Mojitos that's a fantastic pic! Congrats! Feels like that went so fast but I bet it didn't for you! So exciting!

We told our closest friends yesterday, I'm only 7+4 so it is early days but they would have guessed with the non drinking and I'm a bit more relaxed now we've seen the heartbeat.

Good luck to everyone in the TWW!

Oggy that's so true that it's win win this month, I'll be missing all the Christmas drinks this year!

Seahawk80 · 20/11/2016 09:06

Sorry for AF Kirsty. That rabbit is so cute tho!

Kirstyinnorway · 20/11/2016 09:15

Catching up with everyone else now: I agree with lisa, Eva... I would just go for it. It's really hard, but the timing will almost NEVER be perfect for a baby, and it does happen for you, you will cope.

Great pic moonlight, you obviously make very photogenic humans Wink

Hope the TWW goes well for you Basset and MrsG, and yay for ovulation for MrsG and Mouse!

Kirstyinnorway · 20/11/2016 09:16

Thanks seahawk!

Eva30 · 20/11/2016 09:19

So sorry for AF kirsty but fab about the days now working out better for you and having a good crack at it this month! And how sweet of DH
Thanks pie and lisa, yeah you're right and I might as well go for it, I'll do the application this afternoon. lisa yay for static - good luck!! I love it when my ov falls on a Sunday because it means we get lots of DTD in over the weekend haha! When it falls on a thursday is the worst, I'm so tired by the time Thursday comes!
seahawk glad all is going well Smile
pjs how did your tests go?

Eva30 · 20/11/2016 09:22

Thanks kirsty, yeah very true. My friend did the same and handed in her notice and got pg in her notice period so she had to tell her new boss a month after starting that she was pg! Although it would be annoying timing I'd still be over the moonSmile

HellsBellsK · 20/11/2016 09:46

Morning,

Moonlight thats a fantastic photo!

seahawk glad everything is going well for you.

Kristy that is one cute bunny!! Sorry AF got you, enjoy your wine this week!

Eva I also agree I wouldn't put it off - you don't want to put your life on hold.

Im in the 2ww now - I really don't think it is my month. Didn't really notice any CM this month other then right after AF so may be I ovulated really early.

I got the CB ovulation sticks so will start then next month.

WantingBaby1 · 20/11/2016 10:06

Beautiful pic moonlight, congratulations!

sorry af caught you kirsty*. It's mad that pregnancy tests are so expensive over there! That's a lovely bunny though :)

eva I agree with the above. Go for it!

Hells I'm in my two week wait too. Would have expected af to arrive on the 27th but i think i only ovulated on the 17th so I expect she'll be pushed back a bit. Maybe. Who really knows!

All the advice worked with DH, managed to dtd this weekend so fingers crossed I'm in with a chance this month. Didn't stick to the SMEP though, it's just too much isn't it? Sex 3 nights in a row, to order, then skip one and then sex again. Makes me feel like a machine!

HellsBellsK · 20/11/2016 10:16

Ah waiting we can count down together. AF is due here around 27th also!

My boobs are killing me but I usually get that around AF. May be not this
early but I feel like AF is going to come early I have cramps etc.

My brother is getting Married next Saturday so the 2 ww isn't that bad I feel like I counting down to the wedding more so.

bassetmum · 20/11/2016 10:19

Wanting glad things went the way you wanted. I think smep sounds like hard work. I think im just going to stick to every other day next month is af gets me next weekend.

Although I am fighting the urge to poas early as its my birthday this week.

OP posts:
Seahawk80 · 20/11/2016 10:21

eva I meant to say go for the job!

MoonlightMojitos · 20/11/2016 19:27

Thanks ladies, it has felt like forever getting to this point though! Also, they actually put my due date forward 8 days at the scan so its really only been 11 weeks!!! No idea how that works when I was doing opks and bbt so 100% sure on my dates but happy to skip forward faster towards the bit where im meant to start feeling better lol, fed up of being nauseous and exhausted now. It is all feeling a lot more real now. Either that or I'm going to have a massive baby!?

mouse glad you've got some good luck from them! In to the 2ww you go!

eva you know if you go for the job you'll probably get a BFP because that's sods law lol. I'd go for it especially if it will make you happier while you're trying and you're stressed or not enjoying your current one.

Good luck everyone else in 2ww!

JeNeBaguetteRien · 20/11/2016 20:21

Moonlight what a fab pic!
Eva go for that job!

Pyjamas81 · 20/11/2016 22:19

Get blood test results on* thurs Eva -* not even sure I did test at the right time as have no idea when/if I ovulated! I would go for the job - but, I do understand why you'd hold back! I'm pretty bored with mine, but it just doesn't feel like the right time to go job hunting!

Great photo mojitos! So amazing how quickly they grow!

What a cute rabbit Kirsty!

On CD26 here - no symptoms other than some weird feeling in lower stomach. The only way I can describe it is 'fluttering' or like the involuntary eye twitch I sometimes get when I'm tired. Trying not to read into it as it's probably just wind ha ha.

WantingBaby1 · 20/11/2016 22:22

Good to have a count-down buddy hells ! Nice that you have a wedding to distract you for the next week or so. Boobs also killing me but I seem to be extra sensitive around ovulation. The things we go through!

Hope you have a lovely b day basset resist the urge to poas!

MouseLove · 20/11/2016 22:34

Soooo I think I'm 1DPO. Based on my OPK. I really hope I ovulated this cycle. Little steps.

First time ttc - thread four
Oggy88 · 21/11/2016 06:41

These look very good, Mouse. Let the tww begin!

Eva30 · 21/11/2016 08:30

Thanks everyone, I started the application yesterday and will finish it tonight. I might not even get an interview but it's nice having a distraction!!
hells how nice, I love a winter wedding!
pjs fab, let us know what they say. I'm planning another trip to my (so far unhelpful) GP in January. Flutters sound promising.
basset happy birthday for this week!
mouse looking good there, did you manage to get lots of DTD in?

MouseLove · 21/11/2016 08:39

Thanks Eva, We DTD on CD8, 11 and 13 so time will tell. Good luck with your application. Remember to see yourself as an asset!! X

Oggy88 · 21/11/2016 08:47

Guys, has anyone been tracking their CP? I read this morning that CP can be one of the first signs of pg, even before bfp. The whole thing just sounds like way too much effort, so wondering if anyone's tried.

My goodness, the things we do... as if it's not enough that we spend quality time with our fluids each morning, not to mention CM examination that is only short of a lick test...

LisaSimpsonsbff · 21/11/2016 09:05

Oggy I try and track mine but find it hard - much harder than tracking CM. After years of having a coil and so checking the strings were in place I have no problem finding my cervix (I know lots of women do!), but I find the changes so small that it's hard to be certain. I know that I'm ovulating at the moment (positive OPK) and I guess I can feel that my cervix is slightly different to a few days ago, but I don't know how much that's just confirmation bias. Maybe other women get more obvious changes, but for me I definitely wouldn't want to try and self diagnose pregnancy from this!
