Yep, mine freezes as well - then the next time I test it's always an O because it's the start of a new cycle and it's setting the baseline.

Welcome catsmother!

KirstyinNorway · 07/11/2016 06:28

Eva and pjs, you guys have the more advanced one I think! I had the cheaper (pink) one - yours is probably the purple one. Thanks though Eva, will keep my fx that I've done enough. Woke up feeling much better this morning - what will be will be - must have been the Sunday blues kicking in last night Smile

Wishing you all a lovely week!

LisaSimpsonsbff · 07/11/2016 08:09

Ooh, eva and pjs I'm planning to use the same tests as you this cycle, and have a quick question, if that's OK? When it says you can start testing more often once you have a flashing face - do you? Have read elsewhere that you shouldn't test for LH first thing in the morning - does this also apply here?

Pyjamas81 · 07/11/2016 08:38

I test with the internet cheapies throughout day as well (I have problems ha ha) but with the CB Ines, they actually ask for FMU once a day so you should be fine! I just noticed that sometimes I would get a flashing face in the morning, then a super positive cheap test in the afternoon. I would then test again with CB test and it would always turn static!

Im getting very frustrated not having af. Came off pill 12 days ago and no bleeding, nothing. Saw ALOT of fluid fri, then bad af cramping over weekend but hasnt amounted to anything. Monday today and nothing - crampings stopped. Used to get monthly spotting on mini pill (not period) like clockwork but now ive come off its all gone quiet....

bassetmum · 07/11/2016 11:58

Jellybabie sometimes the body just takes a while to regulate again. Try not to stress over it as that won't help.

Well ladies without being tmi i can definitely say I'm in my fw my lsex drive has gone through the roof lol

OP posts:
Piehunter · 07/11/2016 13:23

jelly I had nothing at all for 28 days after coming off progesterone only pill and some have much much longer, it takes a while for things to settle down and it's good practice for learning to be patient TTC Grin

basset that makes things easier!! My ov sex drive buggers off every couple of months and that makes it much harder work!

TMI... I'm having huge amounts of thin cm yesterday and today, I went to the loo yesterday wondering if I was spotting or something weird, but no..

WarwickAlice · 07/11/2016 14:57

So confused this month. AF was due on Saturday, and it didn't come so did a test. Negative. Did another one Sunday with fmu - extremely faint BFP. Did another cb test this morning - negative. Got aching boobs and coffee tasted pretty foul, but if I am pg why did it not show this morning??

No idea what to think or feel - teary and not able to concentrate on anything - any ideas what's happening?

TheCatsMother99 · 07/11/2016 15:24

jelly , I took about a month to have a period after taking cerazette (mini pill) and I also used to get regular spotting on it. From what I've heard, it can take some women a bit of time to get the pill completely out their system and get their body back to something that resembles a normal cycle. I actually feel in the minority that it only took me a month and, even still, I'm prepared for it to be a while before I have a regular cycle.

What I'm trying to say is to try not to drive yourself mad waiting as I think you sound perfectly normal.

Being a newbie, I'm not sure what that means Warwick but I hope you get a clear answer soon. Perhaps test again first thing tomorrow morning?

bassetmum · 07/11/2016 15:35

Warwick maybe its worth getting ahold of a frer rather than a cb? If you are pg you may have implanted late so there is less hcg in your system?

OP posts:
LisaSimpsonsbff · 07/11/2016 15:42

Did you use a FRER for the faint BFP test, Alice? I think CB are quite a lot less sensitive, so you could easily be pregnant but it's not showing on the test yet (especially if the FRER was faint). I'd take another test with tomorrow's FMU. Fx for you - it sounds like congratulations might be in order!

Thanks for the tip, pjs!

WarwickAlice · 07/11/2016 16:19

Lisa Weirdly, I used the cb 6 days before (10mcg sensitivity) test this morning that was negative, but the first response (not early response) - much cheaper - on sunday when I got the BFP. I'll try again tomorrow with another cheapy. I think it might be my month, but still not sure. Thank you xxx

MouseLove · 07/11/2016 17:34

Jelly hi! Please be patient. I've literally just finished a 50 day cycle coming off the pill. Relax, enjoy the trying for a little while until your first AF comes. FX it's not as long as mine was lol

Jellybabie3 · 07/11/2016 17:44

Thanks all. I think once youve made the decision to come off the pill and ttc its just infuriating your body decides to take a break....especially after bleeding (spotting) once a month like clockwork...aargh. Will take your advice and try to chill. Smile

WarwickAlice · 07/11/2016 18:40

Just did another test (have drunk nothing all afternoon) and still negative, even using the other one in the packet as the one that was positive. Still no sign of af but know I'm probably not pg :(

JeNeBaguetteRien · 07/11/2016 20:46

Warwick there's still hope until AF arrives... if it turns out not to be your month have some wine and gear up for next cycle. But I hope you won't be needing it!
Lisa I've used the Clearblue OPKs this month. I didn't want to waste them by using 2 a day regularly, but I did use 2 on the 6th day of flashing smiles. Got my static smiley yesterday after 8 days (CD 17). Have DTD Saturday, twice yesterday and once today so definitely putting the effort in!

WarwickAlice · 08/11/2016 10:07

Still no af. Testing still negative this morning. Not even a little bit - test line completely blank.

What is even more infuriating is that I have a holiday booked this weekend with DH, carefully planned to be over my fw. Now I bet I get af right over it, and even if I don't it won't be fw any more. I think I'm cursed.

Had a bit of a cry in the car park this morning before going in to work and now just considering staying here until midnight so I don't have to think about it :(

Blissfulignorance · 08/11/2016 10:45

So sorry you're in limbo Warwick but as well all say you're not out until AF shows up. Have a chocolatey treat today.

I'm 4 dpo I think. And I'm completely done waiting. I really detest the 2WW.

I have nothing to add to the ov sticks question, wouldn't know where to start myself.

Pyjamas81 · 08/11/2016 11:15

How horribly frustrating for you Warwick Sad Really hope you get some answers soon. Dtd again last night (CD14) today - have a feeling I've already ov'd as inclination to dtd has waned a lot! No CM either. But, will dtd tomorrow just in case.

bean1984 · 08/11/2016 13:00

Hi

I'm a newbie here so hope you don't mind me joining in?

TTC #1
Age 32
Cycle #2
CD 1 AF just arrived after going to GP for HCG blood test this morning as unusually had 54 day cycle.

MrsG280516 · 08/11/2016 13:10

Hi Bean welcome, I'm cycle 2 CD1 today too. Good luck x

WarwickAlice · 08/11/2016 13:17

Af arrived, 4 days late. I don't understand why I deserved such a cruel thing; I really thought I was pregnant. Now my holiday will also be wrecked. I am so miserable and heartbroken. Went home from work again in floods of tears. Rang the doc and she put me on diazepam because I always react so badly to af. Does anyone else feel like a little bit of them is chipped away with each passing day, and that they will never come through this and never get a positive pregnancy test? Every test I take I just expect it to be negative because I'm never going to have a child of my own. I am not coping.

MouseLove · 08/11/2016 13:34

Oh Alice sending massive hugs. I think you need to rethink about AF as a missed chance. And more of a fresh opportunity. Positivity really helps and keeping stress free and relaxed. I bet your stress has caused this delay in AF sweets. But look!!!! A fresh new opportunity is waiting for you. Smile 2 weeks of positivity is all you need to make that hormonal change. Then another 2 weeks to make that bean stick. It's no time at all. You can do it!! Enjoy the moments with DH and enjoy your break away. Don't let this fresh new opportunity ruin anything. Keep smiling and treat yourself right. X

bassetmum · 08/11/2016 14:06

Massive hugs warwick. The way I like to think of it is that my uterus now has a fresh new spongey lining to welcome next month. Treat yourself to some chocolate (i would suggest wine but don't know what reaction of any it would have with the diazepam). Enjoy your holiday with DH, take time to relax.

Pjs ive noticed my first bit of ewcm today. Not a lot of it but it is only cd11. Will be dtd tonight. Random question do people do the old wives tale of pelvis up or not moving for half an hour?
